How do you "Fix" the internet

So someone was telling me how the internet is too insulated and often used by many as nothing more than a catalyst for narcissim and a vector toward echo-chambers and subjecting kids to it is about the worst thing you can do. He ventured that age restriction would fix the internet.

Personally I think we should just put a little needle on every computer and phone that tests for the right levels of testosterone and only lets you on if you're not a Low-T soyboy, a small child or a chick.

So how do YOU fix the internet?

You can't fix the net, it's made by the users more than the influence of larger companies have.

So the problem is more society as the internet, as much as they are trying to squeeze it out is made by and offered up and shaped by end users. Much like at a book store there are more copies of twilight than the art of war, because that's what people want. It doesn't make twilight good or Sun Tzu bad. It just is what the populace wants.

There are sites that deal with just makeup that are bigger than the farms, and ones smaller that are about USB drives etc.

Sure we have the cancer of (((google))) and goverment regs trying to shape the net, but it's mostly free market for now.

Edit: I didn't see this was not deep thoughts so a much easier way of doing it : ban women .

You can't. The internet provides a level of social detachment that significantly hinders the normal consequences that come with being an awful person, and as such, awfulness is going to prevail online in ways that it doesn't offline.

The good news is, how people behave online isn't necessarily reflected in their offline interactions.

Stop trying.

The internet is like a living organism and for every narcissitic echo chamber creating virus (and worse) there are a thousand trolling-stupid pickle-suited nigger antibodies at the ready to burst their proverbial balloons, slaughter the figurative sacred cows, and drag each and every dirty little secret and sin into the light where all can witness the true depravity and hypocrisy of those who sought to set themselves above and beyond mere mortals like us.

Sure, a few harmless speds and idiots might be caught in the crossfire but for each who is publically reamed, a hundred more will learn the lessons of how to avoid being gangraped by trolls and spergs and this lone problem will largely heal itself in real time.

However while this immune system is strong, it can be given a serious case of AIDs when governments and corporations and armies of zealots combine their power and autism to suppress their activities under the aegis of "MAKE MUH INTERNET SAFE AND KIND!" by actively trying to punish and prosecute any and all trolls under various pretenses from hate speech to harassment to libel/slander to simple "safe space" schtick. But while the AIDs might hit hard for a while, inevitably the autism of trolls and muckrakers shall evolve to evade and even counter this, and the whole cycle shall begin anew

So basically, the best way to fix "internet toxicity" or "internet narcissism" is to not even bother attempting it, and let it take care of itself
