How easy is it to find people via phone numbers

I'm asking here cause I know infamous some of the people are here for tracking people down. So I'm asking them. Let's just say I met some one I never want to meet again and they have my phone number so I want to know how easily they can track me back down.

Easy if you have it listed as business contact. Relatively easy if it is private and on contract - one could just walk in to n network reps and ask them to fix something with the account and wait for them to be addressed by the name marked as owner of the number or shoulder surf whatever is brought up on screen/wait for them to ask for an ID for Mr x, then make some excuse and leave with name of the owner of the number

you're fucked, better start packing now and move to another state. do not let any of your family or friends know where you're going and get rid of any electronics that could be used to track you like cellphones and computers. get an old vehicle with no GPS tracker.
