How good was The Accountant (2016)?

It was a solid enough action movie. Good fights and shootouts. Story was occasionally annoying to follow since a lot of it was told out of order in flashbacks. Hollywood style autism rather than real autism, but compared to something like Rain Man it felt a lot less Oscarbatory. Felt a bit preachy about the 'tism in a few places, but not THAT much. It's worth watching if you like the genre.

I'm as positive as Gaeton Dugas that the writers took inspiration from Chris-chan lore. The Accountant is Chris-chan, but an actual badass. His brother was wearing the Liquid Chris shirt ffs.

If they make a sequel, I hope they fully embrace the Chris-chan shit. Since he fucked with the Gottis in the past, the next villain could be not-Clyde Cash. Just hire one of the Jersey Shore guidos to play the role.
 
It was okay. A decent action film with a main character whose gimmick is being an autistic hitman. It's something you can half watch while doing something on your computer; you're not going to miss anything important if you look away from the screen occasionally, you won't feel like you wasted your time when it's over.

It was 5/10. Not an awful movie and it is watchable just doesn't do anything great but at the same time doesn't really do anything bad as well. Fine for a Sunday afternoon watch which you will forget about in a few weeks time.
