How low would gravity need to be before you could jump off a planet

This is important I need to know.

Less than is found on Demos.

How athletic are you, is there an atmosphere, and what is the planetoid made of? Can't answer diameter without those bits of information.
In terms of weight, assuming you are an average KF user, anything smaller than 14 trillion tonnes is jump-offable.

Not sure about an exact number. You would have to escape it's orbit entirely though or you would merely spin around it for hours then come crashing down. General consensus is it would have to be a very small planet, or almost no gravity/atmosphere/magnetosphere. But then you wouldn't be able to breathe there.

A reasonably unathletic person with a jumping speed of 2.4 m/s (enough to jump about 1 foot in the air) would need a surface gravitational acceleration of 0.00000047 m/s^2 to reach escape velocity, assuming the mass of the earth changes and radius remains constant. At these low accelerations, centripetal acceleration due to the earth's spin is an important consideration and your actual jumping height would increase as you approach the equator.

When standing on the surface you would have a gravitational potential energy of U = -GMm/r. Assuming you jump straight up, you'd have to give yourself -U kinetic energy so that you're total energy should be 0. Then you'd go up forever and never fall back down. So 1/2 m v^2 = GMm/r, therefore you'd have to jump up with a velocity v = sqrt(2GM/r).

Where G is the gravitational constant, M/m is the mass of the planet/you, and r is the radius of the planet. Also this is neglecting air resistance and the spin of the planet. The faster the planet spins the less velocity you'd need.

According to the first card that shows up on Google, average human jump velocity is 1.5 m/s
Plug that into an escape velocity calculator and you get 0.000000017983 earth masses (assuming the radius remains constant).
