How much should we blame Eve for eating the apple? - She is technically responsible for furries and trannies.

A whole bunch I think.

Not for any biblical reason, but because blaming women for things comes fairly naturally, personally sometimes I'll even blame them for things when it makes no sense just because I know it's the morally right thing to do.
It makes them happier in the long run because they feel like they're suffering for other people's benefit and women love being martyrs.

So either way I'd say to definitely blame Eve.

Apples are pretty tasty and since this is like the first apple ever. meh, I can't lay much blame.

i mean yeah her eating the apple fucked everything up. however since the thought of "sin" was already planted in their heads. after all god gave free will to them. so they would probably find some other shit to fuck up anyways

Tree of knowledge obviously put there for a reason
As is free will

Increasth knowledge
Increasth sorrow

I’d love to see someone do the same explanation for why Goliath should be blamed for thinking that manlets should just step aside and let the real men do the real work.

Your first mistake was thinking Eve should be blamed when it was Satan who was the root cause. Both Adam and Eve were pure, innocent beings until Satan manipulated Eve.

Adam made the choice to also eat the fruit despite seeing evidence of it's effects on Eve. That alone makes Adam an absolute retard who did not even need a higher being, the devil himself, to convince him to eat the fruit. (One could argue Satan's evil is "infectious" and that infection spread from Eve to Adam which also implies that knowledge is not born of eating the fruit. Meaning the "Tree of Knowledge" was just a regular apple tree and all that is evil laid dormant within Adam and Eve, mankind, all along.)

In Paradise Lost (essentially Biblical fanfiction), God stated His creations should have free will to do as they please and simply watched the events knowing He COULD do something about Satan slithering around Eden. The angels patroling Eden did not comprehend why there were talking animals (which is an obvious sign of fallen angels) and this ignorance slowed response to the fallen angel's machinations. Satan was a selfish, vindictive bitch who was the highest rank angel but got jealous when God loved another being and took his wrath out on someone else. All parties were to blame here in some manner, as the story is a massive shitshow of bad decisions, but Satan is ultimately to blame because he could not leave well enough alone.

This is why victim shaming is dumb: you ignore the failures of everyone else by fixating on one individual.

Nothing bad would have ever happened if Satan just accepted there were others that God loved but no, he had to be the center of attention. Letting yourself be taken by Satan's spawns as a result of his debacle, Sin and Death, is why you are not allowed into Heaven when commiting suicide. The moral of the story is: Do not stoop down to Satan's level and blames others for your own issues.

The existence of thread is the result of the United States public school system enabling poor reading comprehension, mommy issues causing indiscriminate misogyny against innocents, and niggas not going to church.

Thats a very strange argument. 'Satan was the root cause' is not an excuse for ones own actions. If I manipulate you into robbing a bank I may have given you the idea and pushed you toward it, but ultimately you made the decision to rob the bank and are responsible for that decision

When someone commits an act under the persuation of others, it is still their fault but it is also the fault of the persuader. This is why it is illegal to tell someone to commit suicide. This is also why when someone commits a criminal act while inebriated, it is called "under the influence of alcohol". Yes you are still to blame for commiting the act, but you did so against your better judgement due to the third party loosening your inhibitions. Car crashes are legally called "car accidents" because society acknowledges that nobody wants to potentially harm or kill others on purpose.

Before you ask, yes this does mean you can blame Eve, but in doing so you blame Adam for ALSO eating the forbidden fruit. You blame God for placing the tree in Eden and watching the event occur, the angels for not being savvy about fallen angels, and continue to blame blame blame when it all stems from one individual: Satan.

We are a domesticated society which understands that criminal actions do not simply appear from an innate desire to commit evils. We acknowledge mental illness, we acknowledge one's autonomy, and we acknowledge causation. Serial killers like Jeffery Dahmer are called Satan because only Satan can commit such acts of evil seemingly without precedence however even Dahmer had demons, the minions of Satan, which he contended with in life. The Lord forgives those who repent. The realm of innate evil lies solely with Satan, he who once manipulated Eve, now manipulates modern mankind to defy the will of Lord and further leading us astray from the promised land of Eden.

Again, this is why victim shaming is fuckin dumb. We cannot ignore underlying issues or we allow history to repeat and evils to continue.

Jesus died to absolve mankind of it's sins and will be reborn to return mankind to the promised land of Eden and His grace. You forfeit your right to Heaven when you allow the devil and his minions to weaken your will with despair via suicide or cause you to commit acts of evil. The Lord forgives those who choose to live and cast aside the demons.

My thoughts are, in a nutshell, that yes - Eve has some responsibility as does Adam. Satan's also got a hand in it because he's a petty bitch. We'd be here all day if you asked me to go into detail about my philosophies around the creation myths and God so I'll just leave it here for now.

- snip! -
The funniest part about Paradise Lost is the bit where Lucifer is rallying the angels to join his cause and he says: "We can all be God! We can all be equal!" as he sits on a throne above them made of diamonds and gold. It's uncannily close to how troons like Keffals treats their following.

I blame Adam for that one.

He knew better than Eve that eating that fruit would cause death and he ate it anyways because Eve offered it to him.

The original sin is simping.

When someone commits an act under the persuation of others, it is still their fault but it is also the fault of the persuader.
But it's the fault of the perpetrator. In the same way you have a choice to commit a crime, you have a choice to accept persuasion to commit that crime in the first place.

Blame isn't distributed in a zero-sum game. In this circumstance, it's Eve's fault for eating the fruit she was told would cause her to die by death. It's Adam's fault for listening to Eve and eating the fruit even though he was the first one to be told that it would cause him to die by death. The serpent isn't at fault for Adam and Eve's sin-- he's at fault for persuading them to commit that sin, and he's judged for that.

This is also why when someone commits a criminal act while inebriated, it is called "under the influence of alcohol". Yes you are still to blame for commiting the act, but you did so against your better judgement due to the third party loosening your inhibitions
This interpretation is baffling.

The alcohol doesn't funnel itself into your bloodstream-- you choose to inebriate yourself. The alcohol isn't a "third party"-- it isn't any party. The reason why you can still be criminally charged for DUIs, and sometimes suffer worse punishment than you would have otherwise, is because you presumably caused an accident (or would have caused one) on account of willingly compromising your faculties. Acknowledgment that you were inebriated isn't a detraction from your culpability, unless it's demonstrated that you didn't cause that inebriation yourself.

Even in a strictly religious context, we're warned against inebriating ourselves, with no indication that we'll be judged any more lightly for committing sin in such a state. When you say stuff like:

Before you ask, yes this does mean you can blame Eve, but in doing so you blame Adam for ALSO eating the forbidden fruit. You blame God for placing the tree in Eden and watching the event occur, the angels for not being savvy about fallen angels, and continue to blame blame blame when it all stems from one individual: Satan.
you're blatantly muddying apportionment of blame for purposes I can't discern. It doesn't even entirely follow-- the only way you blame God for placing the tree there is if you blame Him for Adam and Eve's disobedience. The savviness (or lack thereof) of angels about fallen angels has nothing to do with anything.

It's not rocket engineering-- we're responsible for our own sins and crimes, full stop.

Islam doesn't even put the blame on one party. Adam and Eve were both equally guilty for consuming the fruit and that's just that.

the Bible doesn't specify what type of fruit it was. However, there is a passage in the Talmud about God creating Adam as a hermaphrodite before splitting off Eve, which would mean that he's responsible for the first tranny.

God is real, and he hates us.
