The Tree of Knowledge granted knowledge of things that man should not have suffered. Beyond torture and killing, you think Adam wept more the sexual degenerates we’d eventually welcome into humanity.

it wasn't an apple per se so...Apples are pretty tasty and since this is like the first apple ever. meh, I can't lay much blame.
Thats a very strange argument. 'Satan was the root cause' is not an excuse for ones own actions. If I manipulate you into robbing a bank I may have given you the idea and pushed you toward it, but ultimately you made the decision to rob the bank and are responsible for that decisionYour first mistake was thinking Eve should be blamed when it was Satan who was the root cause. Both Adam and Eve were pure, innocent beings until Satan manipulated Eve.
Adam made the choice to also eat the fruit despite seeing evidence of it's effects on Eve. That alone makes Adam an absolute retard who did not even need a higher being, the devil himself, to convince him to eat the fruit.
In Paradise Lost (essentially Biblical fanfiction), God stated His creations should have free will to do as they please and simply watched the events knowing He COULD do something about Satan slithering around Eden. The angels did not comprehend why there were talking animals and this ignorance slowed response to the fallen angel's machinations. Satan was a selfish, vindictive bitch who was the highest rank angel but got jealous when God loved another being and took his wrath out on someone else. All parties were to blame here in some manner, as the story is a massive shitshow of bad decisions, but Satan is ultimately to blame because he could not leave well enough alone.
This is why victim shaming is dumb: you ignore the failures of everyone else.
Nothing bad would have ever happened if Satan just accepted there were others that God loved but no, he had to be the center of attention. Letting yourself be taken by Satan's spawns, Sin and Death, is why you are not allowed into Heaven when commiting suicide. The moral if the story is: Do not stoop down to Satan's level and blames others for your own issues.
This existence of thread is the result of the public school system, mommy issues, and niggas having poor reading comprehension.
When someone commits an act under the persuation of others, it is still their fault but it is also the fault of the persuader. This is why it is illegal to tell someone to commit suicide. This is also why when someone commits a criminal act while inebriated, it is called "under the influence of alcohol". Yes you are still to blame for commiting the act, but you did so against your better judgement due to the third party loosening your inhibitions. Car crashes are legally called "car accidents" because society acknowledges that nobody wants to potentially harm or kill others on purpose.Thats a very strange argument. 'Satan was the root cause' is not an excuse for ones own actions. If I manipulate you into robbing a bank I may have given you the idea and pushed you toward it, but ultimately you made the decision to rob the bank and are responsible for that decision
The funniest part about Paradise Lost is the bit where Lucifer is rallying the angels to join his cause and he says: "We can all be God! We can all be equal!" as he sits on a throne above them made of diamonds and gold. It's uncannily close to how troons like Keffals treats their following.- snip! -
I blame Adam for that one.
He knew better than Eve that eating that fruit would cause death and he ate it anyways because Eve offered it to him.
The original sin is simping.
But it's the fault of the perpetrator. In the same way you have a choice to commit a crime, you have a choice to accept persuasion to commit that crime in the first place. When someone commits an act under the persuation of others, it is still their fault but it is also the fault of the persuader.
This interpretation is baffling. This is also why when someone commits a criminal act while inebriated, it is called "under the influence of alcohol". Yes you are still to blame for commiting the act, but you did so against your better judgement due to the third party loosening your inhibitions
you're blatantly muddying apportionment of blame for purposes I can't discern. It doesn't even entirely follow-- the only way you blame God for placing the tree there is if you blame Him for Adam and Eve's disobedience. The savviness (or lack thereof) of angels about fallen angels has nothing to do with anything. Before you ask, yes this does mean you can blame Eve, but in doing so you blame Adam for ALSO eating the forbidden fruit. You blame God for placing the tree in Eden and watching the event occur, the angels for not being savvy about fallen angels, and continue to blame blame blame when it all stems from one individual: Satan.
