How strong is the security of current generation game consoles? - READ: I want to play pirated shit for free.

Days ago I found out that an old friend of mine owns a modded ps5, he was playing bloodborne at 60FPS and also had some other homebrew apps.
Apparently only a few PS5s can be modded with a very specific exploit.

So this thing left me wondering, just how good is the security of current generation consoles? Any idea on how many years until we can safely mod them completely? Do you guys think it will be worth it?

Do I think it will be worth it to buy what is effectively an overpriced PC locked down with DRM to support only a very narrow selection of proprietary software, and then use some random neckbeard's sketchy hack tutorial to exploit a security vulnerability and run the risk of bricking your overpriced piece of shit just to be able to install third party software on a device you own?

Well, I fear we're not going to have much of a choice.

Idk but Switch in particular is apparently fucking impossible to crack unless you install a mod chip or some shit.
