How to troll a fandom?

Have you ever successfully done it or seen someone troll a fandom? If you had to how would you go about doing it? Which fandom and why?

The Fandom Menace people are really easy to troll.
If you want a boost in views, just make a wink wink anti-consoomer video, maybe show a thumbnail of one of their videos for a split second, and they will all feature it on their channels, giving you an influx of viewers.
Sure, you will get hateful comments and downvotes but that's feeding the algorithm and you will be recommended a lot more after that.

A bunch of nobodies started their Youtube careers that way because it never fails.

Probably the funniest case of trolling a fandom I've seen was the Steven Universe tumblr whitewashing. Oddguy's show reviews are also pretty fantastic at making rabid fans who are too retarded to realise they are being trolled seethe as evidenced by the insane comments he gets to this day and all of the 'response' videos.

Fandoms that rely heavily on LGBT and politically correct shit are generally super easy to troll - just say you like a straight ship, draw a character a shade lighter or like 1cm thinner and they'll choke on bile.

Confuse what they’re into with something kinda similar and misattribute things. Claim to be an expert on Korn and then vehemently argue that Fred Durst wrote half the songs on a Korn album when they were hanging out one week but couldn’t be credited due to label issues. Dismiss all evidence to the contrary as being stuff fake fans believe.
