MeatCanyon did a video on Daniel Larson
I wouldn't really consider him, for lack of a better term, a homegrown traditional "lolcow" in the same way that someone like Chris-Chan, DSP, or Boogie is. Daniel Larson was extremely popular with zoomers on TikTok before he got a thread on KF. I heard about him from my college frat buddies sending me his shit on TikTok long before anyone in this section of the internet heard of him.
That being said, I do completely understand where you're coming from and l largely agree. If you were to call someone a "lolcow" in 2016, 90% of people would have 0 idea what the fuck you were talking about. Nowadays the term has permeated the wider internet so much it's not unusual to hear people you would expect to want nothing to do with KiwiFarms using the term regularly.
When I started to hear far-left idpol obsessed lunatics like Hasan Piker, Noah Samson, Denims, keffals, and other breadtube dingleberries calling people lolcows, that's when I realized that the term had finally gotten popular enough to reach escape velocity and hit the wider internet as a whole.
If "safe edgy" losers like them feel comfortable saying the term, you know that the term has become accepted enough among the slop-consuming masses, probably in part due to the ever-growing amount of channels like the ones listed above.
Personally, with how easy AI text and image generation has made video creation, I expect a substantial increase in slop channels covering KF threads.
IMO Null was right, After surviving #DropKiwiFarms and having the full weight of the media industrial complex used against the site, people have no choice but to start to accept the farms as a staple of the internet, just like 4chan or Xitter.
Once the site has been shoved out of the dark crevices of the internet and shown to everyone, I expect alot of people are seeing potential content for their YouTube career. People forget nowadays but think how many youtubers got their start covering 4chan nonsense. You have people like Internet Historian, Wavywebsurf, and many other channels that got their start documenting 4chan phenomenon.
With so many people being exposed to the farms for the first time, I expect a similar wave of content creators to do the same with the content here.
The slop will consume us all.... it's only a matter of WHEN not if...
