I haven’t played my Nintendo Switch in almost two years.

Perfectly normal. Nintendo consoles are meant to be used to play the 3 games worth playing on them, and then as living room decoration thereafter until Nintendo releases its next console.

You should dust it off periodically though so your guests don't think you're a lazy slob.

i didn't played it for... a year, i believe. I got tired from zelda and mario, and i lost hopes for re-releases of older zeldas. And switch games are overprised in my region and it's cheaper to by them on steam.
Came back couple of weeks ago, and i thinking about getting an animal crossing in march.

I wasn't playing mine for a long time since I got hooked on a few GBA games. I tend to stick to one specific game for a few months and then switch to something else, and so my consoles get ignored for a while depending on what the focus game is. I've been playing again since I got Dragon Quest Builders 2 for Christmas. plus a few others that I'm going to pick up once I've beaten this. And I'm anticipating Animal Crossing.

I wish though that I had known a purely handheld version was going to be coming when I first bought the Switch, I would have waited to get one of those instead. I only play it as a handheld system.

Wiis made great housing decorations after the motion control craze died down. Go in a family house, chances are you'd find a Wii sitting under the TV stand.

the switch has been a pretty huge part of my games for the past few years. it's my go to for indies, and nintendo releases enough first party games to keep me content. i can see why you wouldn't touch yours though, especially if none of the first party offerings interest you.

Really depends, have you felt any of the exclusives that have released recently have been of value to you?

Got a Switch in autumn with xeno blade chronicles, zelda and FE 3 houses.

Bought another game on the switch just because it wasn't censored atelier Ryza out of principle to signal that was the fan base want, otherwise I have zelda links awakening, which is relatively new, which is a solid game.

Really depends on you and your taste of games really.

I've played SMM2 nearly every day since it released. AI: The Somnium Files was arguably the best game released in 2019, and I played that on Switch. I've also been working through Deadly Premonition Origins slowly but surely. I'm looking forward to Animal Crossing and Rune Factory 4 in the next few months, as well as some multiplats like Langrisser that I will be playing on Switch.

tl;dr I play my Switch nearly every day and I don't even like Smash or play Pokemon and OP is gay.

Nope, I very often take it to work and play it on break, it is pretty cool to be able to do 100% play throughs on shit again and not feel like I have no time for other games.

Really? I get a lot of mileage out of mine.

My major issue with the Switch has been hardware issues. The joycons suffered drift and Nintendo replaced them for me, and all I had to pay was shipping costs. This is purportedly a common issue if you use the Joycons seperate from the unit. Thankfully I got a Classic Controller that handles like a dream and since I mostly use the Switch as a home console, problem solved.

Been playing the adventures of the Anime Space Cops recently.

Some people pay top dollar for switchs with certain serial numbers. Recoup your losses.
