In any sane world it would be priceless, in this dystopian hell world around 15 bucks.how valuable is it?
15 bucks can buy a lot of those gas station fountain drinks. In any sane world it would be priceless, in this dystopian hell world around 15 bucks.
The whole movie is fine, from my understanding of disc rot a lot of it depends on the manufacturer, I've been lucky with my collection but it's definitely something to worry about. Is it still watchable or has it succumbed to disk rot? Laserdisc is the only optical disk format I've ever owned where disk rot is a significant issue. Fortunately, I only ever bought a couple dozen or so Laserdiscs and I've rebought most of what I have on LD on DVD or Blu-Ray.
His appearance may have been brief but it played a very significant role in Beldar journey though life. How did you feel about Sinbad getting so little screen time?
I've had to start restraining my mentions of the fact I own Coneheads on LaserDisc because of the ladies have become so competitive that it leads to violence between them. Some women can just sense the fact i own Coneheads on LaserDisc so I'm forced to carry a ducktape size roll of condoms and minimum 4 inhalers and 5 packs of smokes at all times.Do you need water wings so you don't drown in all the pussy you're getting?
Eh basically the same as anything composite. I have a dedicated crt for it and my old consoles but there are composite converters. Only real hassle is the disc changing, even though I have one of those fancy players with a reader on the top and the bottom it still interrups the movie to swap readers not to mention any movie over 2 hours has 2 disc. How much of a hassle is it to use an LD player?
I have around 50 right now with a 3 disc set of gunbuster on the way. My favorite besides the obvious coneheads one is probably Mechanical Violator Hakaider. I really want to get one of those stupidly big anime sets like evengelion with 11 disc and ton of extras or those absurdly large box sets like the original kamen rider that is 25 disc in a gaint suit case or the ranma 1/2 set with 41 separate discs but those are priced from hundreds to the thousands. I just love the idea of just how absurdly large those set get and it just fills me with childish gigglesHow many laserdiscs do you have in your collection? What is your favourite and what would be your most coveted laserdisc to own?
I'll definitely double check when I have time to directly compare but from what I saw it was just standard coneheads, like most laser disc the sound is excellent but for most of the things I'm not much of an expert. I'll genuinely try to find my dvd copy and get back to yeah.Is the content any different than what is available on later formats? Different edit of the film, different color grading or audio mix, unique special features?
