The ACA should have held insurance company's balls to the fire, not give them carte blanche to jack up their prices for no reason. But they're just one part of the problem, every step of the medical system is designed to gouge every other step out of money, and since supply/demand doesn't apply to necessities they get away with it.

The whole system needs to be gutted and rebuilt, all the way down to medical schools. And the worst offenders need to be jailed. ACA just threw more money in a broken system.
