It's my first thread, so please do say so if there is another one with a similar topic or if it should be moved/changed. I believe I should be safe anyway here, seems like there is a lot of shitpost around here, so I am edging my bet.
I love to read movie reviews on websites like IMDB and often fall in mildly funny rabbit holes. It's never enough to create a thread on anybody in particular, but it's entertaining to me, and I figured others might find it entertaining as well.
I mainly like to look into people who are obviously looking for movies to complain about and people who spew crazy personal shit in their reviews. But I encourage you to offer other niches if you think you can provide fun content. It's also worth mentioning that people on IMDB often have very poor OPSEC and reuse pseudos quite a bit, which can lead to more fun.
In with the "funny". It's probably not the best "cow" to raise attention to the thread, but this is what I got for now. I'll try and get back to update the OP with better content in the future.
Meet gkuchmek, a user on IMDB for about a year, with 65 reviews to his name.
I noticed him yesterday evening when looking up reviews for the Hulu shitty Halloween special. His review was pretty scathing (might be justified though), but it raised my interest enough that I checked out his profile. And I find it entertaining in a purely voyeuristic way.
Gregory (I assume given the reused username), mostly enjoys watching movies he knows he won't like. If he does watch movies he likes, he will only comment if he can write something that will portray him as someone in the know/contrary. He also shares quite a few things about himself:
He studied movie/animation for years
He most likely has a religious education or his a believer
He leans democrat
He has a very high opinion of himself
He is married and has at least one kid
Etc...
The funniest part of this whole thing to me is that Gregory's picks are extremely strange for somebody who tries to project so much intellectual superiority on others.
This superior intellectual who knows his shit is reviewing stuff such as :
To go back to what drew me to him in the first place. Not only is he obviously picking low hanging fruits to try and flex on retards, he is very obviously looking to be negative. Below are some of the title of the reviews he left, most of which are 1/10, none of which are better than a 3/10
