Hi. Been lurking here for a good 4 years, I can’t remember if I first ended up here looking for info on the author who claimed she wrote the infamous “My Immortal” Harry Potter fanfic who was outed as lying on here, or googling “what happened to the schizophrenic girl from Oprah” one day and finding the Schofield horror thread. Either way, good first impression since in both cases kiwis helped in exposing people who deserved it when the media and normie internet bought their lies. Stayed once I realized most of the threads here aren’t as depressing and are actually funny, I’ve always been into weird stories and so-bad-it’s-good stuff.

I’ve been reading here especially over the last year because this place reminds me of the old days online when people could actually laugh at all the weird shit people do, something that’s becoming harder and harder to find. Like we used to have mainstream TV shows that pointed and laughed at celebrity antics but now people cry over old Letterman interviews where he made fun of Paris Hilton ffs.

And yes, I guess I’m also an idiot convinced by the allure of being part of internet history watching the Chris Chan arrest live yesterday to finally join.
