It's fine if you lean into it 100%. Instead of isolated incidents of drama becoming a scandal, nobody would even notice. All the whiny pussies would die and everyone would be happy.

I tend to keep my disagreements to the thread itself and not hold grudges. Theres people I will strongly disagree with on A&H, but I have no problem chatting about video games with.

If someone really annoys me I will just mute them, but thats pretty rare these days.

It's pretty arbitrary.

There's very few difference between making fun of a retarded user for being a retard and infighting.

Also harassment is not welcome in this forum. It's a safe space

Maybe it's because I grew up on chans instead of forums, but I have a habit of separating the message from the author. So I can get into an argument with someone in one thread and be on their side in another and mentally it's like they are 2 separate people for me. So for me it doesn't matter but I don't think I'm exactly the norm

What you're describing is any sibling relationship, dude. That is normal, maybe less so because it's strangers on the internet but still fairly normal.

Reading through heaps of threads arguing is pointless because it goes like this:

Person 1 : Here's my opinion
Person 2 : But thats wrong all the studies say the opposite

Person 2 : Here
Person 1 : Obviously biased
Person 2 : Okay here, here, here, here
Person 1 : why do you care so much LOL loser... bye!

There's no point to arguing things will people on here they are just in their own echochambers, probably outside this site too. They probably want to protect their internet egos too.
