Random thoughts on giraffes-
Years ago I used to check in on a live cam of a pregnant giraffe, she finally gave birth after a couple weeks of waiting, and it was scary cause the baby had a good 4 foot drop, but it was fine.
If you’re ever forced to camp overnight in Southern Africa, and there’s a herd of giraffe nearby, they will alert you if there’s any big cats or people in the vicinity. Good to know.
I’m surprised there’s any giraffes left in the wild tbh thanks to poachers.
