Is it possible to hide chat?

Hello. Is it possible to hide the chat box that appears in the top of threads?

I have tried looking for it on account details and the search option, but I have found nothing.

You could just filter it out with Ublock Origin by adding the chat box elements to your custom filters if you really wanted to.

But again, that would remove a lot of the fun of watching slap fights in the chat.

On NIGGER towers....

I'm seeing a lot of disappointing attempts lately or outright rule violations when it comes to how a proper NIGGER tower is constructed in the chat. Here's the rules again for all you newfags:

1. NIGGER towers should be in all caps for emphasis. NIGGER is a power word.
2. Each letter in the NIGGER tower has to be by a unique contributor. You can't I then G then G etc...
3. Anyone who interrupts a NIGGER tower while it is under construction risks 7 years bad luck for the offender. NIGGER towers harness negroid magic powers from the nigger dimension and when it breaks bad shit happens. DON'T DO IT.
4. @wry wrangler likes big asses for some reason.
5. Once a NIGGER tower has been capped with a hard R, it's cool to either continue, say constructing more letters to make NIGGERS or NIGGERFAGGOT or some variation on NIGGER. It doesn't matter, NIGGER has been evoked properly.
6. It's okay to edit your letter if you fuck up, but it better fix the NIGGER tower properly or bad shit happens.

You can block the frame using the following uBlock Origin filter in "My Filters"

If you're a phone fag, you can use uBlock Origin in Firefox for Android and insert the same filter in there. The chat's design is absolute cancer for phone users and will rape your phone's battery. Those who either run iOS or refuse to use Firefox for Android (or one of its forks) on mobile can just kill themselves or kill Null, seize control of the forum and add a checkbox to the UCP for disabling chat.

This. Also a more scorched earth method, with FF + NoScript you can uncheck the "frame" box for the site's permissions and it will kill it. But that also kills embedded videos in threads and such.
