If Superman had poor sight, then he wouldn't be super, he'd be flying into buildings and shit which is decidedly NOT super
 
I sometimes wonder what would Superman do in the real world.

Would he waste time on saving people from burning buildings or would he go after warmongers like Netanyahu who caused millions of civilian deaths?
What would he do about troons and big pharma making billions off of mutilating the mentally ill?
How would he deal with Chinese internment camps?
What would his reaction be to BLM and Antifa burning down cities in Summer of 2020?
Would he allow the Middle East to discriminate against women and non-Muslims?

Clark is an investigative journalist and he's supposed to be a good one so he wouldn't be fooled by mainstream narratives, he would uncover the truth before most of us.

Him flying around and shooting lasers from his eyes is boring as fuck but an exploration of his morality in our universe would be really interesting to watch/read.

Well, look at the Znyder movies. He got the shit kicked out of him by three other Kryptonians. Then Batman beats him within an inch of his life. Then he gets knocked into near-death by a nuke. Then Doomsday DOES kill him. Then he manages to temporarily die again in the Snyder cut, even though he's only in the movie for five minutes. How much blood does this guy have to spit up? He should be OP, he ain't Regular Ass Man.

If anything, JL made Superman too powerful.
He toyed with the bad guy, it was funny how weak that dude was in comparison to everyone who came before.
A threat for the entire JL should be someone who even Superman can't take on his own.

No, he should be strong but still vulnerable.
Otherwise, he can only get hurt when it serves the plot, there is no logical reason.
