I'm probably remembering the bits and pieces incorrectly, so I can't find a proper account of the incident. But does anyone remember reading or hearing about this?
I scarcely recall reading about an event during some point of the Ancient Roman Empire. One religious group was having a celebration of sorts, & then there was dancing. Then, another religious group breaks onto the scene to harass them. This devolves into bloodshed, then something about people being flayed alive.
