EU Italy joins France in granting immunity to Netanyahu, rejecting ICC arrest warrants - The arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Galant were issued in November by the ICC for their alleged roles in the conduct of the ongoing "Iron Swords" military operation

Italy has announced that it will not enforce arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant, joining France in offering them immunity from prosecution.

The decision follows a legal advisory from Italy's Foreign and Justice Ministries, which confirmed that immunity for visiting leaders is permissible under the Vienna Convention.

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar, currently on a diplomatic visit to Italy, confirmed the development after meetings with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani and Justice Minister Carlo Nordio. The ministers clarified that legal advice received by the Italian government affirms that Netanyahu and Galant are entitled to immunity under international law while visiting Italy.

This stance comes after France made a similar declaration in November, when it announced it would not adhere to an International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant issued for Netanyahu and Galant. The Netherlands, while not outright rejecting the ICC's decision, has stated that "there could be options" for Netanyahu to visit without facing arrest.

The arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Galant were issued in November by the ICC for their alleged roles in the conduct of the ongoing "Iron Swords" military operation. The warrants charge the two with offenses including "crimes against humanity, war crimes, murder, persecution, and inhumane acts" allegedly committed from October 8, 2023, through at least May 20, 2024. The court also accused Netanyahu and Galant of violating the 1949 Geneva Convention by using starvation as a method of war.

Specifically, the court claims the two Israeli leaders deliberately deprived Gaza's civilian population of essential resources—such as food, water, medicine, and electricity—resulting in widespread suffering and deaths from dehydration, malnutrition, and lack of medical care.

With Italy's decision, Netanyahu and Galant will be shielded from arrest while visiting the country, reinforcing the ongoing diplomatic tensions surrounding their potential prosecution by the ICC.

Can we just dissolve that court already?

It was a bad idea from the beginning.
I think one of the few based choices the GWB Administration made was just throwing the USA's Rome Statute into the trashcan. Clinton and Obama merely paid lip service to the ICC so deep down both of America's political parties recognized that giving a foreign court jurisdiction over your country is some real cuckoldry.

You can make the joke that Bush knew his people were likely to commit some war crimes but at the end of the day a sovereign nation has to be sovereign!

The US literally threatened embargoes and potential military action against any country that arrested King Kike, on top of already sanctioning people in the ICC for it already.
That's not violence unless you're a woman. Are you woman?

The ICC is only effective against African and Balkan warlords, i.e., leaders of defenseless shitholes. It obviously doesn't work against the president of the country with the most nuclear weapons (Putin) or the modern king of the jews (Bibi) who has guaranteed protection from the most powerful country in the world (which also possesses nuclear weapons).

The US has historically opposed the ICC's jurisdiction in all matters, even when the US and ICC are aligned politically (Darfur, Ukraine, Joseph Kony etc.).

You're referring to the American Service-Members Protection Act of 2002, which restricts US cooperation with the ICC and has an 'all means necessary clause' that would authorize military action to free a US service member in custody. The ASPA is also extended to allies.

Your post lacks context and is misleading at best.

The most retarded part that annoys anyone that hasn't the memory of a goldfish, is that EU-Niggers and Amerifat politicians and media alike postured around when the ICC put out a warrant for Putin, and pretended how it was a great, neutral and important institution and that Putler should get arrested by India or something when he visits.

But as soon as it concerns Israel, everyone roaches out, even though Israel killed way more civilians in a way shorter timerframe than the Slavic Salvas did.

Just fuck international organizations. They were tainted from the beginning, raze them to the ground and found new ones for essential cooperation.

The ICC and it's "warrants" are a fascinating modern piece of cargo cultism.

If the ICC is powerless to enforce its laws, it should not exist. If the ICC can enforce its laws, that is globalist tyranny and it should not exist. Either way it should not exist.
