Torswats clearly gets off on all the attention and speculation. That's why he's been drip-feeding information that hints at things without dropping any hard evidence. He still hasn't posted any receipts to provide any tangible evidence that Pat paid to swat himself, and now he has "lost all his files" even though there are plenty of ways to recover data from a computer in a BSOD loop that don't involve destroying everything (unless the HDD was encrypted I guess).

Very convenient. Hope for his sake that he can manage to "find" them somehow when he inevitably gets caught. If you're committing crimes like that, the very last thing you want is attention. Case in point, the breachforums guy.

If he isn't an idiot, he kept a secure backup somewhere safe (assuming he even actually deleted it at all). That will come in handy if the feds are willing to make a deal because you don't draw this much heat down on yourself without eventual repercussions. He's been pretty prolific and I'm sure they'd be as interested in the dozens of people who'd pay for a swatting as the one who did it.

I don't know when exactly it was created but the first tweet was from 1 Aug 2007 so I guess it was created around that time.
As you can see, it wasn't very active. I only could find 1 archive and that's from 18 Feb 2008.
She tweets about attending Def Con (2007 was the 15th edition) and then some travelling to Georgia, Baghdad, Kuwait and some other places. All seems to be job related.
