Wow! What a pathetic, chronic liar.Jackie was raging about blue checks the other day. She admits that she used to pay for Twitter blue but not anymore.

Why does she have a subscribe button? Is this a feature of Twitter blue? A few articles came out today about Twitter allowing users to hide their checks.
You're correct, @Need4Sneed. Jackie is 100% still paying for Twitter Blue, but she's simply hiding the blue check of shame. She wouldn't have access to the Subscriptions feature without Twitter Blue.

Subscriptions are a way for people’s most engaged followers to help them earn money from Twitter for their contributions on the platform. When someone has a Subscription offering, their followers can sign up to access bonus Tweets created especially for them. Subscribers receive badges on their replies to the person they’ve Subscribed to, letting them stand out in the conversation.
Note: People globally who meet the eligibility requirements can apply to participate in the Subscriptions program. Subscriptions purchases are currently available globally on Twitter for iOS, Android, and web.
What are the eligibility requirements, you ask...?
https://help.twitter.com/en/rules-and-policies/subscriptions-policy
Eligibility requirements for Subscriptions creators are defined below. These requirements have been developed to ensure that participants can derive the utmost value from the feature, reduce likelihood of conduct and content related harms for people on Twitter, and enable learning and iteration on the feature and policy in the future. Note that meeting these requirements does not guarantee acceptance as a Subscriptions creator.

- Hide your checkmark: As a subscriber, you can choose to hide your checkmark on your account. The checkmark will be hidden on your profile and posts. The checkmark may still appear in some places and some features could still reveal you have an active subscription. Some features may not be available while your checkmark is hidden. We will continue to evolve this feature to make it better for you.
