OK, now what the fuck is this horseshit.

So I walked by my TV, which is permanently running like a refrigerator, and I saw a State Farm ad where the end "punch" line was "Hey, it's Jake from State Farm."

That man was clearly not Jake from State Farm so I said to myself (cordially and respectfully avoiding calling him NIGGER) "Hey, that's not Jake from State Farm!"
I doubt he was even wearing khakis.

FLASH FORWARD: SEVERAL MINUTES.

I WALK OVER TO TV IN MANIC STATE. I SEE THE FOOTAGE OF THE ORIGINAL COMMERCIAL. BUT THERE IS ONE CHANGE. THEY TOOK THE NEW ACTOR AND EDITED HIM IN.

FOR WHAT PURPOSE. WAS JAKE FROM STATE FARM CANCELED? DOES THIS RETCON HAVE A GREATER MEANING. I DON'T REMEMBER HIM EVEN SAYING "UH, KHAKIS" PARTIALLY, I WOULD THINK, DUE TO MY SHOCKED STATE AND PARTIALLY BECAUSE I THINK HE LACKED THE GUSTO OF THE ORIGINAL.
I am laying in my sweat.

At just a lost...

Apparently degenerates on the internet turned some of those other insurance mascots/characters from other insurance commercials into R34, so they got ended. Hopefully this doesn't happen to your Jake guy.

Jake from state farm was a great classic commercial. This is such a lazy retread. Not even bothering to re-shoot the original setup, they also removed the punch line, stepping around the problematic, "she sounds hideous", "well she's a guy, so". Now we just have Jamal talking about what he's wearing, implying that's even funny. Here is the result:

That's why they changed it. The original joke was that Jake sounded like a man but the wife assumed it was a (manish) woman her husband was cheating with. But that's offensive to people who think manish troons are true and honest women, no matter what they sound or look like, and it's also offensive to make a woman the butt of a joke. So they changed the commercial befire they could get attacked by woketards for transfagphobia and misogyny.

I am assuming all of this with no insider info, but I'm correct.
