Janaye Kearns owns a "Service Dog" called Colt & runs social media accounts for him as well as a Youtube channel. I don't doubt the dog is well trained - but she certainly does not need him.

Background: Janaye claims to have suffered a traumatic brain injury. She has had some form of brain surgery or head injury but has gone so far now that if everything she said was true she would be long dead. She claims to have an insane amount of seizures (anybody who had this amount would be severely brain damaged and a vegetable from oxygen starvation). She some how manages to film/live stream/post her seizures on her Instagram story and Youtube, even filming while in "post-ictal" and "status epilepticus" states (which is not physically possible). "post ictal" happens every time someone has a seizure, it is tempory confusion and unawareness of your surrondings due to a true seizure, you cannot use a phone or even interact during this -it can last for 20 mins up to several hours.

NOTE: She has chocolate sauce on her face here instead of "blood" but is pretending it is blood!

She blocks anybody who dares comment anything but their unwavering support for her. She pretended to commit suicide, only to resurface some time later and blocks anyone who asks about it & denies it ever happening. She is a creep who films other people in public and their service dogs, and is known to blame her "service dogs" bad behaviour on other Service Dogs in public.

Her "service dog" supposedly "alerting". He looks like he is just being an annoying pet not doing as he is told.

On this close up of one of her many head injuries, you can see that it has been caused by at least 2 strokes of a sharp object - it was deliberate.

This means that she had serious behavioural/mental problems BEFORE the head injury she suffered, meaning she is more likely to develop Munchausen. She then went on to sue this academy, describing it as a "private prison". She claimed she suffered child abuse and all sorts, and claims she was worse off than everybody else.

True. Hadn't occurred to me. Why would she be going out at all? Choosing to leave her Service Dog at home? Why doesn't she wear protective head gear?

It's a glamour thing - because women like this, they're not physically sick, they're mentally sick. And the photos are for the sympathy points. Any sane person who posts to social media about a trip to the hospital is usually informing family of a situation or asking advice of their friend group for getting through their situation. They aren't typically fishing for sympathy or popularity.

It's for the likes and attention. Nobody is going to pay any attempt to a picture of an ugly girl but if they look pretty, fake or not coz of the filter, they will get more attention. Janaye is the queen of getting attention.

She seems to have started several fundraising things. I've found these 2, but I know there was at least 2 more for "rescue meds" and her wheelchair.

She says that the insurance won't cover her medication. If she genuinely NEEDED it, they would. They have clearly started to wake up to her BS. There was one instance that she fundraised for meds or something and was caught spending the money on a holiday, instead of medication that she so desperately needs.

She would certainly be dead. Nobody's brain would put up with this amount of seizures, it would simply shut down. She would not be able to articulate, write posts, certainly not post hours of blogs showing her being physically active.

It's for attention, and also shows that she isn't actually sick. As the OP said, post ictal leaves you like a zombie, so completely non functioning. She wouldn't even be able to use a phone.

The blood would be from a head injury obtained while having a seizure, but it would not be settled in 2 neat settle patterns. It's like getting a papercut and shaking your finger, it gets everywhere. It also says a lot that it's in 2 settle patterns. She's allowed it to dry then moved to make it look like more blood.

They are difficult to care for compared to other dogs and require tons of exercise, so disabled people are not a good match. Also because they can't physically control the dog if it does bite someone or tries to run away.

Pits would have to not be of breed standard to be a good service dog. She lets this dog roam around her area off lead which has laws about dogs being on lead at all times and scream but he's a service dog every time she is pulled up on it.

Pitbulls are wonderfully sweet dogs, if they're not raised to be aggressive. And they're protective - it was one of the breed's original purposes before they were bred for aggression. But protective doggos aren't always suited to service dog duty specifically because it's in their nature to be protective.

I've not read of her being refused anywhere, but her insurance company is starting to refuse to pay for her "lifesaving medication" because she doesn't need it.
