As comforting as the old is, Gunt General is a step backwards. I'd really rather see an Amberlyn Reid style of coverage or show thread and then separate threads spun out for specific dramas which is what we have. It's much more manageable to dip your toes into, and the nature of the board will improve as people adjust to the new normal. Embrace the great reset.
My rule of thumb is to be friendly with everyone. There are very few users I actually dislike. I've also been here a pretty long time, long enough to see all kinds of mods either crack or go out in a blaze of autism. So I'm hesitant.
