Joseph Landeros (Mia Rose) is the commander of the Doll Squad, based in Eugene Oregon, while self-proclaimed as an established armed Transgender Antifascist self-defensive collective as a counter for alt-right militias such as the Three Percenters or the Proud Boys, it instead postures itself as an offensive Marxist Death Squad, and would lash out against perceived enemies even those among the left. This would attract the attention of firearms media figureheads, militias, and preppers who would report on Joseph and his trantifa militia, causing Joseph to freak out and go on full damage control.

Born from the ashes of Community Armed Self Defense in Eugene Oregon after the death of his brother and winning a thread on KF as a prize, Charles Landeros (for attempting to shoot the school resource officer at a middle school). Joseph troons out and creates Doll Squad, becoming Mia Rose. While CASD was formed by Charles to "use his army training (preferably to train non-whites) to 'kill the ruling class'". Doll Squad was there to double down on what CASD tried to be, instead of queer and gay folks it would be exclusively transgender, everyone wears multicam uniforms with patches, and everyone strives to have suppressed 5.56 AR-15s and 9mm Glocks, instead of Army training it would attempt to be the US Army (but trans).

While Joseph initially used sympathetic media to promote himself and the Doll Squad, it ultimately lead to the downfall of his unit by identification of training sites down to the exact GPS location, weapons and equipment used to the exact modifications and parts, vehicles identified down to the license plate, combat manuals and doctrine, and political motivations. Going beyond mere firearms training to discovery of what preppers would call, a 'proto-terrorist organization'. This has lead to a social media slapfight which lead to Joseph ultimately scrubbing his social media accounts, despite this there is a trove of archived information already by the counter-troons.

Early Life / Community Armed Self Defense
The Landeros family is made of Rafe Landeros, father of Mexican heritage and served in the military, however it is unknown if he served in the United States military or the Mexican military. A mother of Filipino heritage. As well as an older brother, Charles. Joseph, our star the show, is the younger brother. They grew up in Eugene OR.

Charles Landeros (pronouns was/were), served in the United States Army as a Blackhawk Helicopter mechanic from 2006 to 2012, he was deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq, and was honorably discharged from the Army at the rank of Specialist. After military service he used the GI Bill to attend the University of Oregon.

Charles then made anti-police threats and formed a militia in 2018, called Community Armed Self Defense, with Joseph being a lesser founder, with the goal of "to use his military training to train others (non whites preferably) to kill the 'ruling class'". This has gotten him and his brother, Joseph to be monitored by the FBI. In Janurary 19, 2019. Following a custody dispute over middle school attendance and participation over his daughter of his ex-wife, Shayla Landeros. Charles wanted the daughter to attend the school near where he lives, while Shayla wanted the daughter to attend the school closer to her. The courts have determined that Shayla has sole authority to choose school attendance, and goes to confront the principal at Cascade Middle School with court documents. The school resource officer was called, and he calls for backup of another SRO from a separate school.

The SRO then attempts to get Charles to leave the school voluntarily, Charles would refuse to leave. When SROs attempted to escort Charles away from the school for disorderly conduct and tresspassing, Charles then pulls out a pistol from his waistband, a Taurus PT92 9mm pistol, and starts shooting at the police. Charles fires twice at a SRO, narrowly missing him, the SRO then responds by returning fire, first missing and then fatally shooting Charles in the head. This has won Charles several prizes, including the room temperature prize, a Kiwifarms thread, a Donut Operator reaction and commentary, a mural in downtown Eugene, and a police justified shooting.

FORMATION OF DOLL SQUAD

The Doll Squad was created in Fall of 2023 and was featured in the initial article of Popular Front, a UK-based leftist publication covering armed leftist groups, in an article written by Riles Kiley. This would establish the Doll Squad as a formal militia under command of Joesph, as well as Joesph's role as a lesser founder of Community Armed Self Defense. Doll Squad would feature an exclusive troon militia with initial training conducted with "tactical training with local anti-fascists. Several of them are Army Ranger and Marine Military Veterans".

Popular Front's most popular article is on JStark, a German 3D printed firearms inventor known for making the FGC-9, a 9mm semi-automatic carbine which can be created without the use of dedicated firearms parts. After JStark's article was published, approximately a year and a half later JStark "died of a heart attack" while being put in custody by German Authorities.

On October 28, 2024, a French publication Le Parisien. Has created a video with an accompanying text article featuring the Doll Squad. Positioning them as a Transgender Self-Defense Collective to counter 'fascist attacks'. The commander of the Doll Squad is Mia Rose, of approximately 33 years of age. Who is identified by the individual with the pink dyed hair.

The group’s political beliefs are that where they claim to be anti-fascist, and their ideology, Insignia, and IFF indicators are that revolving around anarcho-queer and transgender identity. While in archived and cached social media they would tag themselves as Antifa. They do not appear to be directly connected to any particular Antifa chapter.

The Doll Squad views the state, as well as non state groups such as far-right groups such as 3 Percent Militias as a threat. Similarly, they viewed the actions of Kyle Rittenhouse as a threat, and one of the members moved from Kenosha Wisconsin over there as the motivation to join the group.

Mia, the commander, claims that America is a fascist institute, calling both Donald Trump of the GOP Party as well as Joe Biden of the Democrat party, as fascists. They view the United States as a whole as a fascist institution, this would lead to the bigger question.

How does the Doll Squad view anyone who supports or believes in the ideals of the United States Constitution? From state forces such as the military or possibly law enforcement, to non-state entities like constitutional militias, prepper groups, and private citizens?

The rise of groups like the Doll Squad is a symptom of a decaying social contract, where identity politics and institutional failure drive citizens to arm themselves. This isn’t just about transgender individuals protecting their community—it’s a microcosm of a nation arming up as trust in law enforcement and governance collapses. The left’s embrace of firearms, once a taboo, mirrors the right’s militia culture, creating a dangerous symmetry. Both sides are playing with fire in a tinderbox, and the state’s inability to address root causes—economic despair, cultural division—only fuels the cycle. SIZE and EQUIPMENT.

The Doll Squad is a Platoon-sized element with an estimated size of 15-25 members. They seem to be self-funded and equipped with pushes for standardization of equipment. Prominent members of the unit, including Mia, identified as Lee, JayJay, and Eve, are equipped with a standardized selection of equipment. Other members featured in media on the other hand, would be sparsely be equipped, only with more inexpensive weapons such as pistols and shotguns and not having armor, uniforms, or load bearing equipment.

The equipment the doll squad strives to standardize for would be modern small arms as well as combat equipment with night fighting capabilities.

If we take a look at Mia for example. This individual is equipped with a 5.56 caliber AR-15 SBR equipped with a Holosun 515 red dot sight, IR laser, suppressor, surefire scout light, and based off of a Palmetto State Armory stripped lower.

There is a Glock 9mm pistol equipped with a Holosun 509T red dot sight, and a underslung weapon mounted light. Inside of a Safariland 6000 series ALS retention holster.

Mia, much like the rest of the unit would equip themselves with similar weaponry, albeit in slightly worse or cheaper versions. AR-15s equipped with optics, white lights. Standardized sidearms with Glock 9mms being the most common pattern.

The unit standardizes in wearing Multicam as the uniform camouflage pattern, standardizing on AR-15 pattern firearms, as well as 9mm Glocks. This would enhance logistics streamlining as well as squad interoperability. With at least 4 members of the unit having fully standardized equipment and arms.

Some motivations to give to Glow So Bright are mixed; with these sources with their own ideological goals aligning with GSB out of concern and to provide assistance, to being concerned with allegations of grape farming from and domestic situations from leadership within the unit, to direct hostilities and conflict with Doll Squad and wanting to defect or already distancing from the organization.

However, with new sources shared, such as articles by the press and personal social media accounts will help paint a picture on how the Doll Squad operates which the previous report fails to disseminate.

Analyst Comments: The distrust of law enforcement in these antifascist factors would mean that victims of SA are not willing to report a perpetrator to authorities and have them face a state court. This can lead to the victim to be subject to coercion. An example of this in practice would be the numerous allegations against Dave Strano of SA, who is a founder of Redneck Revolt and the leader of the Phoenix John Brown Gun Club.

The commander of the Doll Squad is Mia Rose, of approximately 33 years of age. Who is identified by the individual with the pink dyed hair.

It is unknown of the other aliases

or names Mia Rose would use. Any information from before 2022 is unknown.

The second in command of the unit would be an individual by the alias of “yourcomputerfriends”, name of this individual is unknown. This individual seems to be the primary intimate partner of Mia.

Speaking of intimate partners and sexuality. Seems that the often postings by Mia is that of a self-professed autogynephilic in terms of gender identity. Essentially what that means is a man transforms themselves into the woman they lust for. With the postings of the Doll Squad, it is suspected to be that it is set up into a personal harem or polycule. Imagine Gaddafi but gay, but instead of being surrounded by female bodyguards he’s a transgender surrounded by others of the same.

Mia Rose is an individual of Mexican and Filipino heritage; while not having experience in the military. The father, who has Mexican heritage, served in the United States Marine Corps (USMC), after military service, was a police officer in Oregon, with possibly 30 years of experience. The mother has Filipino heritage.

Within the family there were at least two children, the senior brother Charlie and Mia, the younger brother. Charlie is a military veteran. Charlie would establish a predecessor organization to Doll Squad, called Community Armed Self Defense. However, Charlie has died of unknown reasons since January 11, 2019, as a result, the organization became defunct. Keep in mind is that during the time when that organization was active, Mia had not conducted female gender identification and HRT until 2021.

Since 2022 Mia would create two personal Instagram Accounts, a primary account and an alternative. A now defunct page for Doll Squad, as well as a new page afterwards for Doll Squad for coordination of training.

Mia has appeared in several articles published by various press articles. For example, an NPR report written by Devin Speak in 16 November 2022 on Oregon Measure 114. Oregon Measure 114 would mean that before individuals can purchase a firearm, they would require a permit to purchase from law enforcement. This would be a further step in which the Second Amendment, a constitutionally protected right, further transforms into a system where only the wealthy, cops, and the politically well connected to be armed.

Mia would oppose Measure 114, citing several reasons, one of which is that it would prevent marginalized groups from obtaining arms.

In May 10 2023, a podcast created by Beauty Translated, a transgender focused podcast. Would interview Mia Rose and the subject would primarily be about transgender people and firearms. Mia would claim that the Second Amendment is for everyone, and presenting themselves as a firearms advocate. Mia would also claim to be a gun dealer and have fathered at least one child.

Another article was written by Kiley for the first edition of the magazine for Popular Front. Released in August 5, 2023. This article would focus more on Mia as well as Doll Squad. The article would claim that non-transgender members who claim to be military veterans, were leading training to the group.

An article by Riles Kiley written in October 26, 2023, regarding a cringe libertarian , Johnathan James Wisbey, choosing to attack a pro-Palestine rally in Portland, Oregon with replica airsoft firearms as well as a paintball gun. With the goal of creating a firefight and chaos to the situation. To the credit of the group, whose identity is anonymous, has shown restraint in not creating bloodshed of the situation. This individual, identified as Community Defender 2, claims to be trained by Mia.

Foreign press articles by La Parisian as well as Ouest France about the Doll Squad also exist in 2024. With La Parisian showing off a 10-minute long video about the unit.

Mia’s take on politics is that fully adhering to that relating to Marxism and Critical Race Theory. For example, looking at a self published Field Manual titled “Intersectionality”. Mia would view the practices of capitalism to be terrible, and must be abolished.

Regarding the state, Mia views it as an entity that must be abolished and inheritly fascist. Mia views both Joe Biden of the Democrat Party, as well as Donald Trump of the GOP party as both fascist. Mia would have a very strong anti-police stance, such as in interior graffiti of the home with ACAB, all cops are bastards. Mia would abstain from participating in the process of voting. Mia also holds similar disgust to the United States military as well, yet simultaneously putting value in the tactics and doctrine of it.

Mia idolizes Marxist non-state armed groups such as the Mexican Zapatistas, and the Philippines New People’s Army. Mia also idolizes HAMAS, especially since the attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.

Mia would strongly perpetuate and believe in the message “Queers for Palestine”.

ANALYST COMMENT: The idolization of non-state armed groups which target and kill non-combatants is concerning and disturbing. Such as the NPA as well as HAMAS. One thing to emphasize would be the paradox of the belief of Queers for Palestine. Palestine has always been hostile to homosexuals since the establishment of the state from British mandate-era codes. For example, Ahmad Abu Murkhiyeh, was arrested in 2022 by Palestinian authorities for his homosexuality. When seeking Israeli asylum he was beheaded. Other than the state of Palestine having institutional hostility towards homosexuals, other Palestinian entities, such as HAMAS have also shown barbaric and institutional violence to homosexuals. A HAMAS commander, Mahmoud Ishtiwi, was tortured and executed for alleged homosexual activity by HAMAS.

Mia also strongly dislikes firearms content figureheads and organizations. For example, Mia has disgust for Donut Operator, a police footage commentator, for his own commentary on the 2023 Nashville school shooting during commentary about Tacticool Girlfriend and the 2023 Gundies, a Leviathan-run reward show for Guntube. In which a transgender individual, Audrey Hale, opened fire at a Christian elementary school, killing 3 children and 3 adults before stopped lethally by law enforcement. Mia would claim that the perpetrator is simply a “transgender rights activist”.

ANALYST COMMENT: The idolization of individuals who target and kill non-combatants, especially children is disgusting. Let that sink in: a shooter who killed three kids and three adults is a hero to Mia. That’s not just a red flag; it’s a flashing neon sign.

Mia would praise Tacticool GF, a transgender firearms creator as well. For other firearms content creators and organizations Mia has shown hostility, even to other leftist organizations such as the Socialist Rifle Association as well as ABetterWay2A.

Mia’s reasons for disliking those organizations is that of claiming to be grifting, and choosing to exist within the fascist state and not one that revolts it.

Specifically the hostilities towards the SRA would be that it is perceived to be too moderate, claiming that they are Neo-liberal. The central organization’s attitude of not agreeing with the Minnesota SRA chapter, which they want to destroy the second amendment and destroy and disarm anyone that they deem as a nazi or fascist. This shows that Mia does not advocate on any constitutionally enforced rights, but would want to destroy and disarm those deemed as an enemy.

Specifically the hostilities of ABetterWay2A would be for Mia’s claims that the organization would collaborate with the instagram pages of Bullmoose_Memes, Sal the Algorist, and becoming libertarian.

In regarding the Second Amendment, while Mia in several press articles which would interview this individual. Would claim that firearms rights are for all, as well as the claim that the right would want to disarm marginalized groups especially that of the LGBT. However Mia would also claim that anyone who is an enemy, and labeled as a fascist, nazi, colonizer, or other label by the individual, should be disarmed and destroyed.

ANALYST COMMENT:

This is the sort of rhetoric which uses Marxist dialectics where anyone that isn’t part of the perceived in-group is that of the enemy. An Us vs Them mindset. Even if it would involve neutral, observant, or otherwise uninvolved parties. There is no space for peace or coexistence even with other Marxist groups, such as the SRA, and they advocate for the disarmament and destruction of their perceived oppressors and enemies. Combining it with the idolization of individuals and organizations which kill and target non-combatants, would show Mia as a radical and disturbed individual. Without any sort of non-state or state groups such as law enforcement, the military, and armed community prepper groups as a balance or deterrence, there would be without the inhibitions for Mia or the Doll Squad to violently attack these perceived out-groups. This would also put a heavy currency towards submission to leadership and loyalty to ideology.

UNIT SIZE:

The Doll Squad is likely part of a company sized element. One theory is that a very large unit is made up of 2 to 3 elements. For example, in some imagery of the Doll Squad while some members seem to have full multicam and more night fighting centric rifles, other individuals are seen wearing black and having rifles equipped with low powered variable optics. In the Popular Front article it would mention non-transgender military veterans training the unit, which adds weight to the theory that the Doll Squad is a large platoon within some company sized element, comprising of 15-35 members.

IFF indicators:

The Doll Squad’s IFF identifiers would use the anarcho-queer patch, a pink and black flag patch with diagonal elements as well as in some instances the use of bright pink duck tape as armbands.

WEAPONS:

The Doll Squad has plenty of firearms at their disposal. Mia has the ability to arm at the very least a fireteam with a long gun as well as a limited equipping with pistols. With the large amount of firearms, as well as alternative firearms, it is more difficult to pin the amount of manpower Doll Squad has if only counting by weapons alone.

The primary long gun used by the Doll Squad is standardized on the 5.56 AR-15, most rifles if able to, would feature configurations suited for night-time use. Such as reflex sights, IR lasers, and suppressors.

Take a look one of Mia’s rifles for example. An AR-15 5.56 SBR equipped with a YHM Suppressor, free floated handguard, unity riser mount with a various models of higher end red dot sights, Holosun IR laser device, and a surefire scout light, based off of a Palmetto State Armory stripped lower.

Let’s take a look at sidearms. The one likely used in a duty function would be a 9mm Glock 17 Gen 5 MOS with a Holosun 509T reflex sight, Streamlight TLR-1 underslung weapon mounted light, and a threaded barrel. The pistol would be used in conjunction with a Safariland ALS retention holster.

Other members of the Doll Squad would use similar weapons to Mia. 5.56 AR-15s with 9mm Glocks as standardized equipment. This would enhance squad interoperability as well as streamline logistics in terms of small arms.

By having the same pattern of spare parts, magazines, ammo, and training familiarity in handling.

Lesser equipped members of the Doll Squad would have basic versions of AR-15s such as entry-level Palmetto State Armory rifles. Or having equipped with other inexpensive weapons like having pistols only or shotguns.

EQUIPMENT:

A lot of the equipment used by Doll Squad is that based off of what Mia would have. Ideally standardized equipment with night-fighting centric rifles.

Using the Doll Squad’s field manuals for example, we can get a picture on what they use.

For the base uniforms they would go for Fire Resistant Multicam or OCP pattern surplus US Army uniforms. This would include for hot weather use the Massif combat shirt, as well as the fire resistant multicam ACU jacket and pants. They use other articles of clothing in multicam as well, such as Chinese made copies of Crye combat uniforms. The appearance of the uniform loosely is based off of US Army 670-1, uniform regulations for wear of the US Army combat uniform, with the aforementioned IFF indicators.

Helmets used would be bump helmets, ideally the Ops Core FAST bump helmet. This would accompany a night vision shroud with a Wilcox style night vision arm.

Generation 3 Duel and Monocular analog night vision devices are used among members who are able to obtain night vision. This is paired with higher quality reflex sights with high mounts, as well as IR lasers.

Armor and load bearing equipment are modern multicam plate carriers with rifle resistant ceramic plates. Equipment loadout resembles that of direct action units. This particular one used would be a FirstSpear plate carrier with Blue Force Gear elastic pouches.

The group does have basic motorized capabilities with sedans, there has been indications of SUV use. As a result, they seem to be limited to as a light infantry unit, or be limited to improved roads. Yet they do not appear to have other specialized vehicles such as ATVs, pickup trucks, or dirt bikes.

ANALYST COMMENT: The push for standardized equipment, especially higher end equipment and high quality specialist equipment such as Gen 3 night vision and suppressors indicates excellent capabilities for direct action offensive strikes and raids.

WHAT WHY AND INTO TO FIRE MANEUVER

Most of these field manuals seem to be ripped from pieces of US Army and USMC combat manuals, with a strong emphasis on offensive maneuvers of fireteams and squads. These field manuals, as well as looking at the equipment of the Doll Squad, seems to model itself more around direct action offensive groups.

Looking at the TTPS and doctrine of Doll Squad, other than squad maneuvers and the emphasis on standardized uniform and equipment selection, any other doctrine would seem to be an afterthought. The unit hones in on its ability to conduct offensive operations, and would keep continuing to refine them. For conducting battle drills, there is a large emphasis on the squad leader to command and order a maneuver.

Looking further into some field manuals, such as react to contact, it would show and extremely heavy top-down command by leadership to maneuver an element.

Another thing to note would be the inclusion of the Field Manual labeled as Intersectionality, where essentially it would focus on critical race theory, the justification of being morally justified in actions such as prejudice and discrimination towards others, as well as the adherence of using identity as the component in Marxist dialectics. Since the leader perceives themselves as transgender, non-white, non-European, queer. Actions taken would be perceived as morally justified, as Mia would claim rival groups and individuals as fascist and privileged collaborators.

The gear and TTPs scream offensive intent. Night vision, suppressors, and standardized loadouts aren’t for protecting the neighborhood—they’re for raids and ambushes. The focus on squad-level tactics and Mia’s iron grip on command shows a group built for aggression, not coexistence.

THREAT ASSESSMENT:

Immediate Threat: Moderate to High

The Doll Squad’s activities are localized, with no evidence of imminent attacks. They claim that their focus remains defensive yet their doctrine is that of aggression. Unwillingness to negotiate or cooperate will create difficulty when engaging the Doll Squad through developing rapport, cease-fires, conversations, or other non-violent engagements. Any groups that appear to do so will be branded as “fascist collaborators”. For journalistic entities which would want to interview all parties involved, this process becomes complicated.

Hostilities towards former associates, other leftist groups, and other entities. While praising groups and individuals known to have targeted non-combatants; such as the Philippine New People’s Army, HAMAS, as well as the praise of perpetuator who conducted the 2023 Nashville school shooting. This sort of praise could indicate the dehumanization of the enemy as well as a desire for violence. Especially if terminology such as “No Quarter” are used, calling people fascists, nazis, colonizers, etc. Wanting to destroy, disarm, and eliminate them, as evidenced by full support of the Minnesota SRA’s statements.

However, due to them deleting their own Instagram page at approximately 29 April 2300Z during the Ron Stryker livestream with Glow So Bright and SecurityGuy42, a constitutional militia figurehead, discussing the group as well as other armed Marxist groups. Similarly, This indicates that key leadership monitors constitutional militia and prepper adjacent activities.

Similarly, the shift between frequent posting on Instagram to the ceasure of posting since the initial GSB report has reinforced this notion.

Long Term Threat: High

Their paramilitary-style training and rhetoric could inspire similar groups, escalating tensions in Oregon and beyond. Their emphasis on the refinement of group tactics and standardization of equipment will have the likely potential of the group to have serious capabilities against rival factions in coordinated group strikes. Especially with the force multipliers of suppressors and night fighting capabilities.

Confrontations with far-right militias, political events (e.g., post-election unrest), or law enforcement crackdowns could push the group toward more aggressive actions.

ANALYST COMMENT: The use of a short barreled rifle with suppressors have been used to effect during the Tesla firebombings and shootings in Salem, Oregon. Allegedly done by Adam Lansky, aka Allison Tesla. In which witnesses were unable to detect or react quickly to gunfire.

Open Source Intelligence and Human Intelligence efforts to look into the Doll Squad will be significantly more difficult. With each report by Glow So Bright or other organizations, social media activity will be more restricted. Similarly for HUMINT gathering, molehunts and erratic behavior by Doll Squad will jeopardize efforts, and provide a grave risk to sources for retaliation, especially with unverified allegations of internal misconduct floating around.

Without the balance of state and non-state groups such as the military, law enforcement, or other armed prepper groups present, the Doll Squad will be uninhibited in offensive actions to disarm and destroy what they deem as fascists and nazis, if you make every problem a nail I guess.

There are intelligence gaps related to this particular unit, such as their current operational status. Especially since the self-deletion of the instagram account from the unit, as well as the extremely limited release of new Instagram posts.

Most of the information presented about the Doll Squad comes from publicly facing Instagram posts and promoted-press articles about them. This would include articles by NPR, Popular Front, Riles Kiley, La Parisian, Beauty Transformed, and Ouest France.

Some information regarding allegations of the Doll Squad come from internal sources which have approached Glow So Bright. However this information is an anonymous source which cannot be independently verified, due to the sources request not to share DMs and other correspondence with the commander, it would be less reliable as a source to share.

With unverified human intelligence, and with OSINT being dated. There are serious challenges in trying to put a pulse on the Doll Squad, but with the evidence provided so far. This is as disturbing as it is terrifying.

Some gaps of intelligence have been identified:

How does the group acquire funds to obtain standardized equipment, Night vision setups, armor, and modern equipment isn’t cheap.

What is the specific order of battle within the unit?

What is the attitudes or behavior by subordinates, especially for those who act as a second in command, or fireteam leader?

Does the Doll Squad function independently, or are they part of a larger company or battalion sized element?

Where are their training sites?

Are individuals who are part of the unit trained in law enforcement or with military veterancy?

CONCLUSION:

The Doll Squad represents a growing trend of armed self-defense groups born from societal distrust and ideological divides. While their intent appears rooted in survival, their paramilitary-style operations and civil war rhetoric risk escalating tensions in an already polarized Oregon. What sets them apart from other armed groups is their emphasis on refining squad-level tactics as well as equipment standardization. The deletion of their Instagram page suggests a shift toward operational secrecy, complicating OSINT efforts.

However, the idolization of violent armed groups and individuals who have targeted non-combatants is rather disturbing. Combined with the political doctrine and theory of the Doll Squad. Their desire for violence is of great concern.

The doctrine of the Doll Squad, as revealed by their own field manuals is that of offensive in nature. While the leader and the figurehead of Doll Squad, Mia Rose, paints the unit in a defensive image, this individual’s own attitude towards other groups, even those among the left, indicate otherwise.

This isn’t just ideology; it’s a cult of personality with a dangerous edge. Mia’s worship of groups and individuals who target civilians, combined with the “us vs. them” rhetoric, shows a willingness to justify violence against anyone this individual deems as “oppressive.” Without checks from law enforcement, the military, or armed preppers, there’s nothing stopping the Doll Squad from acting on this. It’s a powder keg waiting for a spark.

Act accordingly, knowing is half the battle, the other half is preparation.

Welcome to the show and welcome to Glow So Bright. Precedence is routine, information cutoff is May 28, 2025, 0400Z

BLUF: This intelligence report is an update to the document “Intelligence Report: Doll Squad May 23, 2025” created by Glow So Bright. This report contains new information and elaborates on previous intelligence gaps relating to the Doll Squad. Specifically on anti-police motivations and history of individuals.

The brother of Mia Rose, mentioned by Mia as Charlie. Is Charles Landeros. Charles Landeros, whom previously reported to have died in January 11, 2019 from unknown reasons. This Charlie is mentioned to have the same identical date’s of birth and death as in Mia’s posts. The reason Charles has died was from gunfire by the Eugene Police Department during an armed altercation.

Charles was present in Cascade middle school over a custodial dispute over his daughter. This daughter was from a previous marriage, he divorced from his ex-wife, Shayla Landeros.

In 2018, Charles was making violent anti-government messages and was reported to the FBI.

A couple of days before the incident, Charles posted anti-police messages such as “Time to Start Killing Pigs” on a Facebook page which Oregon police shot a man in Portland. Hours before the incident took place, Charles posted on Facebook in a post relating to the death of a Davis California, Police Officer, Natalie Corona, commenting “Death to all Pigs”.

The court ruled that Charles Landeros did not have the right to place his daughter in a particular school. The ex-wife, Shayla was determined to have the right to do so. Charles placed his daughter in Cascade middle school during the week of the shooting, Shayla went to the school to speak to staff about this action. From there, Charles went to the school to confront staff.

During an altercation relating to his daughter’s attendance in this particular school, the school resource officer was called, Officer Steve Timm. Timm was being accompanied by his partner, Officer Aaron Johns, whom was a school resource officer from a separate school but in the same district. This was due to concerns of it developing into a dangerous domestic situation which will put the safety and wellbeing of students in danger. The officers attempted to remove Charles from the school premises for charges of disorderly conduct and trespassing, for refusing to voluntarily leave the school as per officer’s instructions. He pulled out a concealed pistol, a Taurus PT92 9mm, and fired twice at Officer Timm, narrowly missing him

In publicly released body cam footage, Timms was shot at twice by Charles, Charles was then shot in the head by Timm. Timm was uninjured. Afterwards, Charles has died.

Later it was determined by the District Attorney that Officer Timms was justified in his actions and use of lethal force against Charles Landeros.

There was some public response against the Eugene police department specifically related to the death of Charles. A public mural was painted approximately a year later after the incident. Which Shayla condemns, saying “Charlie is not a hero, he is an attempted murderer. This [mural] needs to be removed”. During an interview with ABC9 KEZI.

Aside from the incident which was the cause of death for Charles. Let’s look further into his own background.

Charles was a United States Army Veteran who served between June 2006 to June 2012, in the position of a Helicopter Mechanic, with the MOS of 15T, UH-60 Helicopter Repairer/Aircrew Member. Charles was also deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. From there he was honorably discharged as the rank of Specialist. and in 2014 used the GI Bill to study in University of Oregon, majoring in public policy and management.

One critical piece of information that is useful to this additional report about Charles would be a publicly released file from the FBI.

Looking further into Charle’s studies at the University of Oregon, he was claimed by a tipster to the FBI that he was obsessed with hating nazis, and disliked the school for their alleged treatment of minorities.

Now let’s see the FBI records on Charlie on 2018. A tipster of a redacted identity claims that Charlie would use his military training to teach preferably “non-whites” to “kill the ruling class”. Some of these individuals who have contacted the FBI, claimed they were part of Charle’s unit in the United States Army.

This group would be Community Armed Self Defense, a group founded and promoted by Charles on Instagram.

Looking at the FBI documents as well as FFL information, or information related to Federal Firearms Dealers. It lists an FFL known as COMMUNITY ARMAMENTS AND SUPPLIES. In the FBI report this individual is redacted. Looking at ATF FFL lookup databases it was registered to a Joseph Ramon Landeros. This FFL became defunct in September 2021 apparently.

Similarly, if we look at a memorandum page on Charles, created by Civil Liberties Defense Center. This would mention about Joseph Landeros being the brother to Charles.

Looking at KATU ABC 2, reporting on the law enforcement incident regarding Charle’s death. It is mentioned that the Taurus PT92 used in this incident was purchased from Joseph’s FFL by Whitley Landeros, nee Carpenter. Who during the time was the wife to Joseph.

Similarly, in the FBI report it mentions about two special agents observing two vehicles at Charle’s residence, a 1994 Volvo 850 Four Door vehicle registered to Charles. As well as a 2012 Nissan four door vehicle registered to a redacted individual. If we look at a 2024 Le Parisian video, about the Doll Squad, we see Mia Rose operate and drive a navy blue early 2010s Nissan Sentra, four door compact sedan. A match for the vehicle mentioned in the FBI report.

Using this information together, we can determine with certainty on the cause of death of Charles Landeros, the brother of Joseph Landeros. We can also learn of the military background of Charles and how that is used to help shape Community Armed Self Defense.

We can now establish with certainty that Joseph Landeros is the alias of Mia Rose. With the death of Charles, as well as the Donut Operator coverage of the body cam footage. We can now determine why Mia, and the Doll Squad, has motivations to be against Donut Operator as well as anti-police sentiment. With the unknown state of Whitley, it is plausible for another motivation of being against the state, especially with the handling of the custody of children. This can also explain the heritage of the US Army inside of the Doll Squad and mirroring elements of Direct Action and Combat uniform doctrine.

We can also infer, through the Beauty Translated podcast, that Mia Rose aka Joseph, would have either fathered children or may have had some custody in some capacity to be the guardian of the children of Charles. Similarly, Mia’s claims of having an FFL hold water. Yet given the polyamorous nature of Mia, it is very unlikely that Whitley is at a continuous relationship presently.

This information has covered some additional intelligence gaps relating to Charles Landeros, his cause of death, the identity and history of Mia Rose prior to 2022. As well as Mia’s motivations to be both anti-police as well as harboring hostilities towards Donut Operator. Having Charles be on the FBI’s radar is also a huge indication of domestic terrorist activity, yet it is currently unknown to the public if Doll Squad is also monitored by them.

This report will cover on possible training site locations as used by the Doll Squad as portrayed by international press using geolocation. It will talk also about current Doll Squad activities as depicted by social media.

Using open source intelligence imagery, as well as the use of landmarks and terrain association. Glow So Bright, augmented by non-organic elements. Are able to determine the roads, routes, and locations of possible training sites as used by the Doll Squad using geolocation techniques.

Let’s take a look at Le Parisian video, La « brigade des poupées » se prépare à la guerre civile aux Etats-Unis. Published on October 29, 2024. We can fast forward to some timestamps of interest.

If we skip forward to 4:56 on the video. We can clearly see a house with a windmill towards the front. We can also see an air traffic controller tower and a yellow and teal blue hanger. This indicates a major landmark we can index ourselves off of, and with the direction of where the vehicles are heading. Which is IVO the Eugene Airport.

The vehicles are going further northwest to their destination. This can be indicated by two distinct trees and a mountain in the horizon at 4:58.

The Eugene airport is 1.3km away from this house, a two story yellow house with a windmill. Similarly we have another shot on the same road, at Clear Lake road, showing the air traffic controller tower as well as the airport. Vehicles are moving in a westward direction. On a separate occasion On June 3, 2025. Constitutional militia figurehead SecurityGuy42 has made a video on the Doll Squad. This video’s assessment is that Doll Squad is a proto-terrorist organization.

Meanwhile on the ms.Mia.Rose Instagram account, more posts are gradually being deleted, however analysis on which specific posts are not observed. The top Instagram story on field manuals, has been removed while individual field manuals can be found by manually scrolling down. Posts regarding scheduling recruitment and training dates still continues to be posted on a monthly basis, with the next training session on June 22, 2025.

Analyst Comments: It is unknown if this training activity would continue. As entities outside of Doll Squad official channels are now aware of the possible training site locations. As well as combining it with posted training and recruitment dates from this Intelligence Report. Especially with counterfeit IFF indicators in circulation.

Glow So Bright isn’t responsible for any entities that operate in the area. Be careful, and stay vigilant.

This video so far has covered an initial intelligence gap partially on where are the locations of the Doll Squad’s training sites. Combining this information with their current recruiting training schedule would help with observation on their current operational status through HUMINT or ground observation.

Let's look at Doll Squad recruitment and training attendance.
On April 21, 2025 on the Mia Rose IG account (note the mention of the doll_squad161 IG page). With 20 participants photographed in attendance.

On April 30, 2025. Glow So Bright has mentioned Doll Squad on the SecurityGuy42 livestream, afterwards the Doll Squad IG account became immediately deleted.
May 1 2025, GSB has made their initial video specifically on Doll Squad.

On May 25, 2025 Doll Squad has their scheduled training.

11 Participants on the training event, a 41 percent decrease.

On June 20, 2025. Glow So Bright has posted a "camouflage contest" at the same area and day as the scheduled Doll Squad training event, with a photo of a forested area at an unknown location.

June 22, 2025 Doll Squad only has 7 people in attendance, another 41 percent decrease. Keep in mind is that this is after GSB leaked the training site, look at there not being an orange rock.

With a continuous and unsustainable rate of 41 percent decrease in recruiting and training for the Doll Squad, as well as member attrition. Something has to be done, right?

On June 19, 2025 Eve Weston has published an article in the Eugene Weekly, the local newspaper, promoting queer and trans people to get into guns. To prime them as candidates for Doll Squad recruiting. Eve features himself on the cover with a rifle. Because nothing says femininity like a size 12 Doc Marteen boot?

Glow So Bright has continued reporting on the Doll Squad.

Let’s give a brief summary of Glow So Bright related activities and reports.

On April 30, 2025. Glow So Bright on the Ron Striker livestream along with SecurityGuy42. GSB has mentioned Doll Squad in passing on a stream about various Marxist Armed Groups which operate within the United States. Immediately after the livestream the Instagram unit page, @Doll_Squad161 self-deleted. Indicating they monitor constitutional militia and prepper related activities as an active organization.

On May 1, 2025 Glow So Bright has released an initial intelligence report on the unit. Using Le Parisian video as an initial basis for information.

On May 23, 2025 Glow So Bright, titled Appendix A, using personal Instagram pages as well as early media articles featuring the Doll Squad, has created a more comprehensive report on the Doll Squad. This would include leadership, general information, political beliefs, doctrine, and arms and equipment.

On May 28, 2025, on a report titled Appendix B, was able to report on the history and identity of Charles Landeros, Community Armed Self Defense the predecessor organization to Doll Squad, as well as establishing Mia Rose as Joseph Landeros. As well as a possible origin on anti-police motivations.

On June 4, 2025, on Appendix C. It would show, using geolocation of Le Parisian video, a featured and frequently used training site used by Doll Squad.

On June 26, 2025 on a livestream featured on FocusTripp’s channel, titled “Like a Doll”, would talk about the brief history of the Doll Squad and their current activities of attendance and use of the Training site as mentioned in Appendix C. Focustripp claims to have reached out to Mia Rose out for a livestream or to the panel; and Mia then blocks Focustripp. Later at June 28, 2025 Mia posts an Instagram story calling it a “fascist podcast”.

AC: Looking at the content of the exchange between Mia Rose and FocusTripp, Mia appears to be dismissive of the Glow So Bright reports. However, by blocking FocusTripp and insulting him instead of refuting Glow So Bright’s statements on the Doll Squad or Mia, reenforces the truth and impact of Glow So Bright reporting.

This would conclude the summary of prior Glow So Bright intelligence reports as well as the Focustripp livestream.

Meanwhile, on June 19, 2025. The Eugene Weekly, a local magazine for Eugene OR. Has posted an article written by a senior Doll Squad Member, Eve Westson. The article’s intended audience are transgender and queer individuals who are interested in being first time gun buyers, or maybe temporary gun buyers. While the article does not mention Doll Squad directly, this individual is seen with Identical weaponry as well as found in media published by Ouest France, Le Parisian, and Mia Rose’s Instagram account. The article was talking about the introductory process on firearms ownership a recommendation of training by Shuten Defense Group, based in Portland OR. Also promoting the firearms instructor going by the alias of Zella. While claimed to be NRA certified, there is no way to independently verify current credentials of being an NRA instructor.

Other entities and individuals mentioned specifically in the article would be Carol Rozek, a Eugene-based firearms instructor based in Eugene, operating The Cognitive Defender LLC.

The article was then featured by Andy Ngo, on X on June 27, 2025.

The article was then shared on a recently created Reddit account on r/Transguns, r/LiberalGunOwners, r/Eugene, and other Subreddits.

AC: While the article in itself when viewed in isolation seems benign. Eve’s involvement in Doll Squad and the content of the article when viewed together is concerning, zooming out this would be seen as one avenue to prime candidates for Doll Squad recruiting. With the basis of fitting the criteria of becoming a member; transgender and politically compliant. Willing to “bash back” against the “fascists”.

AC: This isn’t much different than earlier publications involving Mia Rose such as from Popular Front, Le Parisian, or Ouest France. Where Doll Squad personnel would appear to advocate for the Second Amendment, while wanting to “bash back” or destroy their perceived enemies, ever wanting to just obtain weapons and bolster manpower to destroy individuals who uphold the values of the constitution.

So this article would identify the position and name; providing a clearer picture of key leadership within the Doll Squad. This would establish Eve as a likely 2IC and position as public affairs manager, and senior firearms trainer. Let’s develop the next slide deck.

Key Leadership:

So, Eve Weston, alias unknown, and a likely age of 27, is the likely 2IC of the Doll Squad behind Mia Rose acting as a Public Affairs manager, and senior firearms instructor for the unit. The profession of this individual is a journalist, writing for the Eugene Weekly, with an Undergraduate Degree in Journalism from the University of Oregon.

Eve has been a member of Doll Squad since at least July 17, 2024 as reported by Ouest France. In October 28, 2024 Eve was also featured in Le Parisian.

Let’s look at one of the firearms confirmed to be used by Eve, as featured in the Ms.Mia.Rose IG page and confirmed to be in use by Eve as on the Eugene Weekly.

Here we have an 16 inch AR-15 carbine chambered in 5.56, likely a basic configuration Palmetto State Armory rifle at one point with various modifications, an Sig Romeo5 bolted on a unity high mount. A2 muzzle device. A likely O-light flashlight. Some sort of IR LAM wrapped in tape. A pink forward assist. A FAB Defense GL core buttstock. There is a free floated rail attached to the rifle, with a low-profile gas block and a BCM slanted short vertical grip.

A sidearm featured is a 9mm Glock 19 derivative, more than likely a PSA Dagger. Equipped with a threaded barrel, tall sights, a Holosun open emitter reflex sight, a Streamlight TLR-1 HL light. Paired with a Safariland ALS retention holster

AC: Previous GSB reporting on the Doll Squad, which assumed yourcomputerfriends as the 2IC, seems to be incorrect. This current report establishes that Eve Weston is the likely 2IC.

Impacts of Glow So Bright Reporting:

The impacts of Glow So Bright reporting on the Doll Squad have been detrimental to their operations. This can be seen in Mia’s attitude towards the public as well as pictures taken during scheduled training and recruiting events.

Doll Squad has a reduced social media presence and operational secrecy since the Ron Stryker livestream, and especially since the Glow So Bright intelligence reports. Mia Rose has also been more hostile to other media figureheads, like FocusTripp. Blocking him and calling him a “fascist podcaster”. While trying to initially appear dismissive of the GSB Intel Reports.

Ever since the GSB Appendix C report (Geolocations on training sites). There has been a reduction in participation of Doll Squad training, from 19 individuals (+1 cameraman) on April 21, 2025.

To 10 participants (+1 cameraman) in May 27, 2025

On June 22, 2025. With 6 participants (+1 cameraman). The lack of a significant landmark (orange rock), indicates compromise of the primary training site used (by Glow So Bright’s geolocation), or to point the camera at a more generic treeline or vegetation. The ground still has shotgun hulls and other debris, indication of use of a shooting spot on public land.

AC: The reduction of participants in training photos could be interpreted a few different ways. For example, there could be a reduction in training participants as well as members leaving the unit. Another way to look at this activity are that participants refuse to be photographed, which would make training attendance appear to be smaller than what is displayed.

With the identities and activities of Doll Squad connected social media accounts and media articles, the new unit IG handle has shifted from the.collective.161 to tasc.161 On June 28, 2025.

There has been possible shifts of Doll Squad promoted training as well, from the usual scheduled training in Eugene Oregon, to additional training promoted by Sable Fox Tactical LLC in Denver, Colorado. The composition of this free transgender training, is unknown.

Social media posts have been at a significantly reduced frequency by Mia Rose since the GSB reports. With for the most part limiting posts to only 24-hour long Instagram Stories since mid-June 2025.

There was also the Eugene Weekly article written by Eve, which is probably a primer to get more Doll Squad recruit candidates in the unit.

As far as current Doll Squad unit size, inconclusive due to Glow So Bright reporting and degradation. A platoon sized element of 8-25 members, with a greater composition of recruits. However with experienced publishing capabilities among senior leadership, Doll Squad has significant COMCAM capabilities.

In Late June 2025, a tactical ground intelligence asset of moderate reliability reports that 3 Doll Squad members, a senior member and two recruits, were at a local gun store in Eugene OR. The senior member was advising the two recruits to purchase specific weapons using term “equipment standardization”; presumedly to get recruits to purchase 9mm Pistols which take Glock magazines, as well as 5.56 caliber AR-15s.

Conclusion

This report summarizes earlier Doll Squad reporting by, provides updates to Doll Squad activity post Appendix C, as well as establishing Eve Weston as key leadership for the unit. Mia Rose’s direct activities in social media appear to have mostly paused, except for calling FocusTripp a fascist and blocking him and creating limited release Instagram Stories. While recruiting and training attendance appears to have diminished, ongoing recruitment of members which appear as more dedicated, loyal, and politically compliant are successful.

The intelligence cycle on the Doll Squad continues, if you stare at the abyss. It will continue to be deeper and darker.

Known Instagram accounts which are managed by the Doll Squad and Mia Rose. Have become self-deleted at approximately 30 JUN 2000Z. This would include the pages @ms.mia.rose, @ms.mia.rose2, and @tasc.161.

AC: The quick self-deletion of public facing Instagram pages indicates an even stronger push towards operational secrecy due to public scrutiny. Despite the recent Eugene Weekly article written by Eve Weston published on June 19 to prime candidates for Doll Squad selection; recent Glow So Bright reporting has been successful with significantly greater public awareness on the Doll Squad. A big special thanks to FocusTripp and SecurityGuy42 and company.

AC: While this recent activity of self-deletion follows a similar pattern, such as Instagram deletion of the @doll_squad161 unit page, the self-deletion of Mia Rose’s IG page is a rather significant. However due to the mostly pause since May 2025, except for scheduled monthly training events, impacts on archiving Doll Squad social media has been marginal, as media and screenshots have been archived on sites such as Archive.Org.

AC: While for the most part, social media monitoring through OSINT has already painted a comprehensive picture on the Doll Squad since early June, even before the mass self-deletion, with only granular details and updates coming from other sources, such as HUMINT or external publications such as the Eugene Weekly.

AC: Likely in the future, Doll Squad will be faced with a few different outcomes after this report. Very likely that they will continue to operate more underground; at the detriment of PR and recruitment. Very likely Mia Rose’s erratic actions from GSB reporting indicate that the unit may fracture or leadership may be delegated to another senior member, such as Eve Weston. Another likely outcome is that Doll Squad will be absorbed into another Antifa-aligned armed group and merge. Unlikely, Doll Squad could rebrand and launch new social media accounts with a promotion through Reddit, such as with the Eugene Weekly article. Unlikely, but Doll Squad could also escalate in offensive behavior due to greater public awareness of the unit, perhaps towards members of the public which are perceived as Glow So Bright ground tactical assets, such as couriers, gun shop employees, security guards, and janitors.

That my friends is a mystery, however seems that if Glow So Bright responds to publishing new information on Joseph Landeros, Joseph will freak out and delete. While GSB has provided a significant amount of background, context, and archived media on the Doll Squad and Joseph, he can not be relied on fully for future updates in archiving, and he will be the catalyst to Joseph freaking out with deleting information. Or with now presumably this thread and it being on the farms.

that make us uncomfortable.

It is my hope that through conversations like these, we
can all become more enlightened about the things that are
foreign to us , so that we can reach new levels of
understanding, about ourselves and each other.

| would call myself a beyond average gun owner, you
know, l'm a gun dealer.

So like, it's like, why do you have so many guns?

Like, well, I'm actually a licensed dealer.

So like, that's kind of why.

That's Mia Rose , a trans woman from Oregon, Eugene, to
be exact.

And like she said, she is a gun enthusiast, a gun dealer,

and someone who teaches self-defense and instructs
tactical training exercises.

Her core customer base is made up of other LGBTQ plus
individuals in the Pacific Northwest, many of them falling
somewhere under the trans umbrella.

As | begin our conversation, | realized that Mia and | have a
lot in common, even going all the way back to the kind of

upbringing we had, being that we both grew up ina
militarized household.

And, like, my dad wasn't wearing, like, camo in the house
or anything like that, but he ran the house like it was boot
Camp camp or something.

| had always had guns.

| grew up ina military home, so guns were normalized in
that sense.

You know, the whole socialization, my sibling went to the
military.

| almost went, but | know | grew up, you know, wanting to
own a gun and thought it was cool.

| really liked the video games that had guns in them.
So I've always been interested in them.

And | also have like a fascination with the mechanical

properties of a gun, just like the engineering of how they
work.

I've always found fascinating.

And | like the physics of a gun the idea that | can stand
somewhere and I can shoot a bullet 300 yards and hit
something.

Before | got into, like, community fence and my own
mission now and arming other trans people, | was a
hobbyist.

| shot at indoor reins, | shot after work for fun.

That's all | did.

Like, | don't even hunt.

| got into the sport when | was 22 | was living by myself.
Ammo was a third of the price it is now .

So | could buy ammo for like $8 and I'd be good all night.

Nowadays, $8 ain't even buying me half a box of ammo.

And after work, I'd just go home, grab my gun, go with
gun range, shoot, get a burger and go home.

It was just kind of a relaxing thing for me to do.

Around 2016, though, | was identifying as queer, but |
wasn't presenting any different .

| wasn't on any kind of medication to HRT.

But | started around that time reading the news and
seeing what was going on and started getting a little bit
older in my political understanding of the world.

And | started seeing people like the left and community
members arming themselves.

We started seeing a national movement of minorities
arming themselves, things like the Pink Pistol Club or like
John Brown Gun Clubs were starting to form around that
time .

And it was like, hey,, | have guns.

| can start training people."

So, from there, me and my sibling and my other friends,
we started advocating for people to learn how to use
firearms and training and community defense.

And from just working with certain minority groups and
certain communities and just being around more queer
people, | was like, oh, | suddenly feel more at home with

these people than | ever did in my previous life.

| think just being surrounded by my own community ,

being in those spaces and helping these people without
even knowing it helped me transition to realize who | am.

And then now that | have transitioned, | feel like this role |
conserve is just so much more important, because | know
that even when | was presenting as, you know, the other
gender, | still wouldn't necessarily feel comfortable going
into gun stores .

But | feel like when | had my store, you know, | would be
trans, a trans person would come in.

They would see a trans flag on my gun safe.
You know, | have the pink hair.

They talk to me like, oh, this is not some guy with a Trump
flag at his house.

So | felt like a lot of people are thinking about getting
armed, but because there is this community feeling
around it being so centered on the right, so much racism
and just hate in that community and then there's like a lot
of trauma in it, and then people not willing to , you know,
lock someone through trauma with their firearm.

| thought it was interesting when Mia starts talking about
trauma.

Not everyone is going to be inherently comfortable

wielding a gun.

And the more marginalized intersections you find yourself
in, the more trauma, you might have around handling
guns.

Or the less likely you are to explore that as an option for
arming yourself .

| see this as her talking about breaking down those mental
barriers, like for myself, those would be that guns were
either pursued as too masculine or might make someone
think | align myself with right wing politics when | do not.

When people in the community see me, they see a pink
haired trans woman who's obviously not this cishett white
guy in the right wing.

And | find that what keeps a lot of people out of firearms
training is not only that they don't feel welcomed in those
spaces, but that a lot of people in my community
specifically have trauma related around firearms .

Whether that just be news that you hear about tragedic
events happening at firearms or people in their life having
been negatively affected, perhaps even, you know, they
aren't here anymore because of firearm use.

So | find that someone that has this type of trauma , even
if they do try to go into these right wing places, more

often than not, these instructors are not going to be
patient or compassionate to these feelings.

So if someone with trauma, maybe every time they see
the gun, some of their PTSC kicks back.

So if they're in a firearms class and like, let's say you're
the only minority in this class, the instructor is going to
treat you differently.

So when | instruct my own people, | ask them everyone,
like, hey, what's your comfortability about this ?

And because of my trans identity and my own experience
with firearms, I'm able to give people more of a one-on-
one approach that is definitely more trauma informed.

After every shot, | ask them, hey, how did that feel?
What's going on with you right now?

So | realized that we're not just shooting a gun.

For some people out there, we really are unpacking years
and years of bad information around guns, as well as
personal trauma that they may have encountered in their
lives.

And with that approach, Mia set out to find a way to

increase her community's awareness and comfortability
with firearms.

| feel like there was just a need, and | guess being kind of
who | am, always wanting to help in that sense, | kind of
just filled that role.

The first thing | did was start instructing.

I'm like, "Hey, guys, | have a pistol and | have a pump
action shotgun.

Does anyone want to learn how to use these?

And of course, everyone's like, "Yeah, I've never even
shot."

So just me taking friends out a couple at a time, just
teaching them them, and they bought their own .

And now | have a community of people here in my own
town that I've helped bring up over the years.

So, yeah, | do consider myself a little more into the gun
thing, but it's also on brand for me at this point.

I'm kind of the gun girl.

Many trans people, including myself, felt vulnerable and
unsafe to be visibly trans due to the rise in
transscapegoating and anti trans rhetoric coming from the
right.

This led to an increase in politically left leaning gun clubs
all over the country, particularly in conservative areas,
such as Oregon and Georgia, that cater to marginalized
groups , people of color and LGBTQ plus folks being some
of those groups.

Here's Mia.

John Brown Gun Club was named after John Brown, who
was an abolitionist in like the Appalachian area.

I'm not I'm kind of fuzzy on the history.

They made a TV show about it, actually.

It's kind of good.

But he's an abolitionist and it's free and slaved, so a lot of
people kind of got down with that message .

The John Brown Gun Clubs, though, is a leftist gun club
organization that really focuses on mutual aid, as well as
range days.

So | often see them out doing things like food drives or like
winter clothing distribution.

And as of lately, they have been offering community
watching for like BLM marches as well as queer events,
like drag story time and just drag shows in general.

There is a growing trend in conservative pockets of the
country, among right wing demonstrators to show up to
drag events, whether they be aimed at children or not, and
try to intimidate or threaten the performers and the fans.

Right wing lawmakers are simultaneously fueling this trend
by drawing up bills that would outright ban anyone
perceived as a female or male impersonator, that is in the
vicinity of children .

This threatens the livelihood of drag performers' careers
in those areas, but also leads to the policing of trans
women and men, because the laws are so vague that they
can easily be used to encourage anti-trans discrimination
enforced by the police, stating that we are public
predators.

Yeah, so the right will find one and they'll share it on their
social networks and then people will drive them like out of
state to like go protest these events.

And the local leftists, you Know, they show up.

John Brown Gun Club has adopted Black Bloc as their
kind of thing when they go out armed to protect their own
identityity, because they are being targeted just for
defending queer community spaces.

So | give a lot of props to them for standing out there and,
you know, doing that work.

That's fantastic.

| think it's really good cool how you were able to both find
a niche there and also kind of find yourself at the same
time.

Yeah.

| can't imagine, like, | mean, you know, I grew up in a
conservative household.

| grew up in a military household.

My dad was in the Marine Corps.

My dad was a police officer for 30 years.

And I always grew up with the idea that guns were
associated with the right and with more conservative

people.

And a lot of times | associated it with toxic masculinity and
things like that.

So it was around the same time for me, around 2016, and
a special in 2021, January 6, 2021, where we see, you
know, the Capitol being stormed, for example, where I'm

starting to think like very seriously, like, what would | do in
a situation where there's a group of hateful people that
wanted to harm me.

And so | have thought about arming and | know many of
my trans friends have armed themselves and have learned
how to do so properly thanks to this new kind of, and it's
newer, of course, because these weren't necessarily
available before, like you said, but these newer people
who are providing lessons for minority groups.

Yeah, you know, it's like we say, you know, like we protect
us, community protects itself.

So I think people all around this nation are are seeing it,
and then there's people that have the ability to help
others, and they are.

And it's a beautiful thing, really.

What do you see with your customers and like your
clients?

What do they tell you about the want to arm themselves?
MIA: 13:13

Every time | sell someone a gun, | say, How does it feel to
be a new gun owner now?

Because like, first and foremost, the decision to buy a gun
is a very, very individual and personal choice.

While | am an advocate for owning a gun, | also
understand that there are just some people that aren't
going to want one.

And that's fine.

They don't have to.

| always say that if you have an interest and want to get
one, do get one.

But the people that come into my shop are usually like
that.

You know, they've always maybe had an interest in it and
they see the news.

They see the writing on the wall per se, and they feel like
it's time to take the next step.

Usually at that point, | let them know, like, hey, | know
you're buy buying this gun and that's great.

But that's just step one.
Like you need to train with it.

And | also offer firearm training classes, you know, locally

in my area.

So most people, they buy a gun and | say, that's how you
what, you buy some ammo and we'll go out and I'll show
you how to use that now.

And then | set them up with a target stand and then
they're able to take themselves out and do their own self-
led training .

So my customers lately have been an uptick in women,
number one, and then women of color and then trans
people of all kinds have been coming in.

| don't get a lot of white cis men coming into my store.

If they do, they're like the allies, you know, that know me
from before .

But my store is pretty much like 80% of my sales are
women.

Like half of them are women of color and the other half are
trans.

So that's kind of what I've been focusing on.

In December of 2022, Mia was interviewed and
photographed by NPR to talk about ME 114.

A new bill, Oregon was proposing that would make local
law enforcement, the police chief, or county sheriff,
responsible for determining who can and cannot own a
gun in the state of Oregon.

Mia spoke in the article about how this bill could affect lots
of different marginalized groups.

Tell us a little bit about what that experience was like after
the article was published.

MIA: 15:19
The article is very exciting to be a part of.

It was like my first time someone's interviewed me.

So, yeah, the guy wanted someone to be the poster trans
girl. And | always say that | didn't dye my hair pink and
make an Instagram to not be seen.

So, you know, okay, NPR, let's go.

Um Yeah, it was about the LGBT community worrying
about Me 114 targeting them.

Me 114 as it is now in Oregon.

Looks like it's going to be stopped completely, but it's still
up in the air.

It looks like it will, but technically, it did get voted for , but
technically, the courts ruled against it.

So it's probably going to go to Oregon Supreme Court and
then we'll see there.

But the fear is that the police are going to have free reign
on who gets to have a gun or not.

The police get to decide who is good for the community or
reasonable and , you know, the history of police violence
towards the queer community, Stonewall and everything.
I't got to get too much into it.

But again, 2016, 2020, all these protests.

One of my worries was that that people that were
identified as protesters, and not even the ones that, you
know, did property damage.

It's just like attending these things.

Are they going to be like, well, we saw you attending a
protest ?

And you were yelling out, abolishing the police or police or
terrorists or something about, you know, and the police.

And then you think the police aren't going to be like, well,
you don't even like us.

Why should you be like allowed to have the gun?
So that was the issue | wanted to bring up in that article.

It was nice because another friend of mine was
interviewed in it and they're a lot more wellspoken than
me and kind of said the same thing, but better.

But, yeah, so the article was about 114, but being that |
was the only pictures presented, the article quickly
became my article. Which again, was fine.

Unfortunately, though, with that, the headline being LGBT
afraid of getting guns taken away, and then a picture of
me, the article became sensationalized on just the very
physical image of me alone with a gun.

And it quickly became became about me as a trans
person armed in Oregon.

And | guess | knew that was going to happen, but it was

definitely interesting to see it all unfold.

As it quickly unfolded, Mia found herself in the middle of a
backlash from all sides , people on the right and the left.

So | woke up that morning is what happened.

My friend messaged me is like, Mia, you're on the news.
I'm like, oh, yeah, | didn't even tell anyone about that yet.
So that's how | woke up to my friends telling me it.

So | I'm like a glutton for self-punishment.

| went to NPR and | got the article headline, right?

And | just that into Google and | got every single hit
possible.

And | just read every comment for like the first two weeks.

And | went to Reddit and like, there's like so many Reddit
posts with like 40,000 upviews and like hundreds of

comments.

So yeah, | read them.

| wanted to see what was said.

And like that's how I can say with a lot of confidence that
people didn't read the article because they were just

talking about like, oh, LGBT, pink hair must be a liberal.

Like, you probably just got armed last month and you
voted for Hillary or something like that.

Like, people are like, you voted for these gun laws.
Why are you complaining?

It's like, | didn't vote for these gun laws. Or like someone's
like, this is what you get for voting for Democrats.

And it's like, this was a ballot measure, which has nothing
to do with politicians.

Like a bunch of people got together and signed a petition
and then they all voted on it.

Like anyone can technically do that if you have , you know,
the funding, like you have to go canvass and stuff.

But yeah, and then people on the left were being a certain
way about it too, saying that | was being too much.

Like, | think someone, | went to liberal gun owners and like
some of them are like, | think this is too much.

She doesn't need a 60 round drum and a silencer.

And it's like, you know, ideally, yeah, ideally, | wouldn't
need to have all these guns. Ideally, | wouldn't need to be
able to arm myself and defend myself .

But, you Know, that's not the world we live in.

Yeah, and | know the climate and, | mean, I've never been
to Oregon, but | know the climate or Oregon can be
outside of Portland very conservative.

Yeah.
And l'm sure it can feel unsafe.

Most definitely.

Like a lot of people think of Portland as Oregon and like,
they had a bunch of like the federal courthouse was
protesting for like 100 days straight here in Portland in like
2020.

So in there, there is definitely a radical and like a very
liberal and then in that, like a radical pocket.

And in the other major cities, it's like that too, like Salem
and Eugene.

But yeah, once you leave those towns, it's actually very
conservative here. And all of that kind of liberalness just
goes away.

If you take a look through the lens of gun culture, who do
we typically see represented as the right gun owner?

People of color, LGBTQ plus individuals, and women at the
intersections of any of these identities are typically left out
of gun culture.

You could even say that this is by design , that we have a
society that seems to inherently value a white man
strapped with a gun versus a person of a marginalized
group.

And it sure sucks that anyone has to arm themselves with
guns, but why should the group's most vulnerable to hate
and violence be the only ones not armed?

Do you think there's a fear on the right of minorities and

people on the left arming themselves?

MIA: 21:26
| definitely think there's a fear.

One of the tactics on the right used against me was
trigger warning, like transphobia coming up, like the
Statistics about us.

Someone said, like, if you really care about trans lives, you
would not arm yourself and you would advocate for no
one to arm yourself because of blah, blah, blah
percentage .

And it's like, you know, come on, dude.
Like | feel like when people attack me on that statistic or
when people, like some people said my gun was fake and

some people said, oh, | have like Chinese stuff on my gun.

And nothing, not there's nothing wrong with Chinese stuff,
but like, | have like an expensive gun.

So it's all like, it's like American made parts here.

But like the reason that people were doing that is because
they were trying to tear me down, right?

Like if you can, if you see something and you can discredit
it, it's no longer a threat.

Because when they see me, you know, they see a human
being, no matter what gender, they see a human being
with a rifle.

If they can tell themselves, I'm not trained with it.

If they can tell themselves , it's a BB gun.

If they can tell themselves, it's fake, you know, all these
things, then all of a sudden, I'm not a threat.

And | think what that does is allows them to not have to be
better.

| think they don't want to, but believe I'm a threat because
they don't want to up their game.

They want to believe that we are harmless and that we are
victims.

And the majority of them are just mocking me.

If they were to truly understand , | don't think they'd be
discrediting me.

You know, like if all those people that, like the people that
said my gun was fake clicked on my Instagram and
watched my videos, they wouldn't think it was fake
anymore.

What | found most interesting about this is the same thing
is said about a trans woman's womanhood, that it's fake
or a cheap imitation.

But anyway, this is the perfect example of toxic
masculinity in gun culture , the equivalent to a dick

measuring contest.
My gun is more real than yours.

However, if you were to click on Mia's Instagram and look
through her content, it's a mix of tactical training in
shooting range videos, Eg aesthetic selfies, and leftist and
anti-fascist memes.

Not your typical gunfluencer or content, but not too far
from it either, just with a much girlier aesthetic and
without any conservatism.

I'm not saying that everyone gets an AR-15, a night vision
like me and becomes, you know, I'm not like raising an
army or anything, but | do want to shift the culture.

| want to push the culture of the left overall more towards
guns.

If | can arm people and then they tell their friends and then
now there's just people talking about guns in spaces
where maybe they never had guns and now they're talking
about them, that's huge.

Like the right, they have cultures and generations of doing
this.

Like they will go hunts and they'll go camping with their
family and guns are hanging on their walls.

Like everyone does it.

And then, you know, you have families and generations
from the left that never even touched your gun ever.

So I'm just saying normalize them in your household
because, you know, see them as the tools they are.

So that's one of the biggest parts of my mission right now
is just moving the culture towards guns.

Like, | don't expect everyone to buy an AR-15 and train
every weekend, but if they want to buy like a handgun and
train to make themselves feel safer in their home, |
definitely advocate for that.

| asked Mia to tell me more about what it's like to be a
woman in this industry.

MIA: 25:36
| got into this industry, | presented differently, just as a
queer person.

So one of the things that kind of made me nervous or
anxious about going in was like, coming out in my
transition.

It's like there were other queer people that l' trained and
that were in like my direct friend circle, but as a trans
person, | still had that, like, oh, I'm going to come out
people accept me feeling.

Even in, you know, lept this organization.

And like one of the things that kind of got me was | think
my physical appearance gave a sense of authority and of
like, Knowing what | was doing with a gun.

They looked at me and was like, oh, you look like someone
that knows how to shoot.

Like, I'm going to respect your authority based off
patriarchal preconceptions."

So | was like, okay, if | transition and | start putting on
makeup, | dye my hair pink, are people going to take me
seriously?

Or are they just going to, you know, judge me as like this
trans girl?

So that was kind of the big thing for me.

Luckily, those were just like, insecurities, and | did have a
very supportive community .

So at least all the people in my community really accepts
me very, very well.

Now | cannot say the same for the other side, for the right.
| already never felt comfortable really in those spaces, just
being a person of color, walking into gun shops or gun

stores or gun shows even.

Now as a trans woman, | don't even, | try not to even go
into those places.

I'll go into a gun store if | don't want to order something
and they have it right there.

And when | do, it's like the music stops when | walk in
there and everyone like looks at me, you know?

Yeah. , | always tell myself, oh, they just think that |
probably got armed yesterday or something.

But yeah, | mean, the left has been accepting of it
because | was respected before | think so that really
helped me.

And it's like, you were good of guns then. Being trans

doesn't change that.

So you're still, I'm still seen as like someone would have
something to say in this community .

But in the right, you know, it's just, it's just more identity to
oppress me by, essentially.

Here | asked Mia to speak about the Second Am
Amendment and the notion that guns are violent, and
because of that, violent people may be the ones most
drawn to gun ownership.

That That's that's that's.'s definitely a touchy one, right?

The way | see it is twofold.

One, there's, like, the stance of, I'm like a hardcore gun
advocate.

So it's like, as much as | don't, like, quoting the United
States the Bill of Rights, the Second Amendment says we

can have.

So I'm always like, well, the law of the land is the law of the
land.

| can't change that.

And it says we have the rights to bear arms.

So | don't think like banking this like the legal legal
argument is that we shouldn't be judged or perceived a
guilty or innocent based off just exercising an American
right.

Having a gun doesn't change your status of being
victictimized or the oppressor, right?

It's the person.

Taking away guns there's still going to be violence.

Now we're going to get into some recent news, the
Covenant School's shooting in Nashville, where three

children and three staff members were murdered.

This one hit, particularly close to home, as some news

outlets chose to fill the top of their websites with coverage

of the shooter that was very misleading and intentionally
aimed at stoking the public sphere of trans people,
obscuring the real story with smoke and mirrors.

Media outlets initially reported the shooter as a trans
woman, which was false.

In reality, the shooter was a trans man, who had only
recently begun transitioning.

By misreporting and using incorrect language to describe
the shooter, this creates further trans misogyny , further
hate specifically towards trans women, and does nothing
to help our society heal from events like these, and much
less solve the problem of gun violence in our society.

The identity of the shooter doesn't matter.

So why is the media spending so much time talking about
and misreporting that?

How many more of these events do we have to witness
specifically in the United States?

MIA: 30:14
It was actually really kind of wild.

| was actually doing another interview about being an
armed trans woman.

In the middle, like, we took a break and then we checked
the news and we saw saw that shooting.

And it was just like, oh my gosh, you know, I'm already
seeing headlines of like trans shooter.

And | think one of the things that the trans community saw
and just a lot of people in general was how the media,
specifically the right-wing media was just framing this
whole thing, like trans shooter, revenge, Christians in
danger, all stuff like this.

And, you know, you just look at shootings historically with
cisgendered people or workplace shooters, and they're
never never like described that way.

They always, you know, their identity isn't important.

In fact, sometimes | try to humanize the shooter, but | feel
like with this trans shooter, because of the whole narrative
against trans people right now, it was kind of like the
golden ticket for all the transphobes to just spread hate.

| actually got tied into with that.

Some troll, like some, some transphobic troll on Twitter,
thought it would be funny to get my picture along with
other trans women in the community and just type
essentially just lies underneath our photos.

And this spread along Twitter.

And, you know, when it was just on Twitter, | wasn't really
too concerned because it was just Twitter profiles.

And l'm sure there is right wing discords and stuff that |
don't even know about that are talking about me.

And l'm sure that my image has been used in other ways
like that, you know?

But when | saw my picture on the Daily Mail, it was a little
bit more concerning.

| don't really want to call it Daily Mail a news site , but
according to Wikipedia, they are the most red news in the
whole of UK.

So they do have publication power.

And the fact that they weren't just a Twitter personality.

They were a named industry and business.

So | felt that | could actually take more of an an action to
get that removed.

Luckily, | have an amazing lawyer in town that | trust, and
with their advice, | was able to draft up a cease and desist
letter and got that photo in all references to me removed
immediately.

So that was nice that it got taken down, but there's still
that like, okay, well, that story still ran, you know?

And like my picture has still been related to that.
So | guess like I'm upset about it because | don't want my
image to be linked to that in any way and to be used to

fuel hate.

And at the same time, it's like, they're already doing these
things in my imagery anyway.

But at least this was one of the times where | didn't have

to just sit down and take it.

Even if the article was ultimately taken down , people still
read the headline.

They saw the story and the images of Mia within the body
of the article and associated her with this horrible event.

Daily Mail used Mia's image against her own cause,
perpetuating the opposite reaction in people of what Mia
stands for , and their publication reaches a lot of readers.
It's not an accident or lazy journalism.

It's not even journalism at all.

It's creating a mythology for people to latch on to.

It's definitely starting to feel like there's more awareness
and public attention on me.

Before, it was like, oh, they're armed and they're trans.

| was just playing with my gun.

| don't really know what I'm doing.

But now that there has been shootings, armed transness
is being vilified.

So now before where it was just like, oh, it's just a silly,
pink haired liberal.

She't know what she's doing .
Now I'm being linked to a mass murderer.

And it's like, oh, trans people with guns, terrorist groups,
scary.

So since then, I've taken down my flag, actually, that was
in that article, just said, try to lower my , my image.

And yeah, like | don't openly walk around town saying I'm
who | am, but definitely on my profile, I'm still who | am.

But even though my profile is public on Instagram, it's not
like, me walking around a gun shirt, you know, or
something.

So | don't broadcast it too much, just for my own safety.

Like, | don't want strangers on the street harassing me
and stuff.

But yeah, | have noticed that the last kind of big event has
definitely changed more narrative around being armed
and trans and like what that means.

As the debate over gun control rages on, one thing has
become clear.

The right wing interpretation of the Second Amendment is
selective .

On the one hand, they argue that the government has no
right to regulate firearms, that any attempt to do so is an
infringement on our constitutional rights.

On the other hand, they have no problem with restricting
certain groups of people from owning guns , effectively,
the Second Amendment doesn't mean the same thing
when it comes to marginalized people.

For example, despite the clear need for self-defense,
trans women, and other marginalized groups who choose
to arm themselves for protection are often met with fear-
mongering and demonization .

The behavior of the Daily Meal we talked about earlier is
but one prime example of this method.

To put a bow on it, the same people who champion the

Second Amendment as an absolute right become much
less enthusiastic when it's applied to groups they don't
like.

It is a fairly transparent attempt to preserve the status quo
and keep power and the hands of those who already have
it.

The Second Amendment should apply to everyone, not

just those deemed worthy by the right wing.

By acknowledging this hypocrisy and working to dismantle
it, we can move towards a more equitable and just society
for all.

Everyone just needs to be able to see it first.

They say that they support the 2A and they support guns
for everyone.

But I've seen so many like articles, if you will, about how
minorities specifically shouldn't have guns.

So there's definitely a disconnect in what they say and
then what they believe.

An informed public is crucial for a functioning democracy,
and the media plays a significant role in shaping public
knowledge as well as public opinion.

But all too often, and instead of providing accurate and
logical information , the media caters to society's darkest
and most divisive corners.

In a never-ing quest for an audience and influence, media
outlets perpetuate decades-old stereotypes and
prejudices that are harmful to marginalized groups.

Isues that should have been dealt with years ago, and in

many cases, were dealt with years ago , keep getting
change back up.

We should be beyond this by now.

We need to move beyond sensationalism and into
nuanced conversations that help us truly understand each
other.

When the media fails to live up to its responsibility, it
harms communities and undermines the fabric of our
society , let's work to create a media landscape that
uplifts rather than tears down the marginalized.

It's time we started to care about the issues that face our
society today, not the ones that faced us decades ago.

MIA: 37:33
| think that, you know, they essentially don't care the
people that are making these statements.

So | think, you Know, so in confusion is a great way to lead
to hate.

You know, | don't understand you, I'm just going to hate
you.

And | think that is what's going on, you know?
And, like, just like how they vilify in general, like, for this

last shooting, | read an article saying, like, how they were a
star athlete, and they had concussions, as if to imply that

because they had concussions, that was what, you know,
that was that led to what happened .

And, you know, you don't see anything like that for the
trans shooter.

You know, it's like, oh, the trans is why they shot.

Again, | believe that spreading this misinformation,
causing this confusion, it's easier to dehumanize when
this happens.

And then once you have dehumanization , that leads to
hatred, and then that leads to violence.

Ultimately, we all want to live in a safer society, one with
less violence, one with less hateful neighbors.

The majority of Americans recognize that our strength lies
in our diversity , and that includes responsible gun
ownership and training for all.

As we move forward, we must continue to have thoughtful
conversations about issues that affect us today.

That means acknowledging the ways in which
marginalized groups have been historically excluded from
this conversation .

Here's Mia for her closing thoughts on arming
marginalized communities with firearms.

If you have a gun, it's not going to make you less a victim.

It's going to make you better able potentially to defend
yourself.

You know, like me having a gun and living in a dangerous
community doesn't make me safer from attack .

It makes me more prepared from an attack.

You know, and ideally, | don't even get attacked.

But if I'm getting attacked with an item that could help me,
you know, potentially save my life or not have that item,

that's kind of more how | see it.

But yeah, definitely people tend to to say that it's like, well,
you have a gun and, you know, guns are violent.

Like, only violent people have guns.

But | think that just to like education and having these
conversations, it can dispel some of this.

The question is, what do those conversations look like?

What are the barriers and the misconceptions on the left?

MIA: 40:00

| think a lot of the misconceptions on the left are this idea,
well, there's a part of the left that really wants to trust the
police and reform them.

And | think there's another part that's just like abolish
police .

And when we're talking about law, they're going to be
enforced by police one way or another.

So when it comes to like gun law, | | think that's where this
conversation Is split.

We have some people that are more radical and they're
like, no gun law.

And other people are saying sensible gun law .
And it's a very nuanced topic, you know, like, obviously no
one wants people to just get guns and just shoot

everyone, you know, and like cause some mass murder.

But like, the answer is not banning guns from everyone
either.

Especially like the advent of 3D printing, gun bans are
going to be pointless.

| follow people on Instagram that are 3D printing barrels,
3D printing, the research receivers, 3D printing ammo.

Abs untraceable.

So like, you can ban them.

You can make them completely unsseable and humans
know how to engineer and they will.

For me, it's always come in like the mental healthcare
question, you Know, when people use guns heinously in
murders, there's usually other signs.

And | think if we had a healthcare system that addressed
that , then we would see less of those violent actions and
not just taking the gun away.

Because, yeah, like people will find ways to act out
violently on people.

So | think that's where the split is between the left.
Like, how do we address this properly ?

And America being the country that has a Second
Amendment, some people feel really strongly about that.

It's like, well, it's her right to have guns.

But then the other arguments like, well, we don't want kids
to get shot in schools.

And it's like, no one's going to disagree of that.

Like everyone wants kids to be alive in schools.

Like | have a kido.
| want them to be in school and safe.

So we can take these parts from the gun culture, like me
being , you know, kind of playable with them, | guess, or
advocating for them, you know, having cool guns and Say,
like, hey, you know, we can do this on the left.

And like, just because I'm doing these things, like, again,
like I'm not like building an army.

I'm just, it's our Second Amendment.
Like, it's our right to do that.

We have the ability to do this, and | advocate that you
should if you want to, of course.

moment, but before that, | asked her what her goal with all
of this is.

After all, her passion is leading to a lack of understanding
from virtually every angle.

One of my big goals to demistify firearm ownership.

A lot of information and preconceived notions that people

have are from media , and unfortunately, a lot of it's
Hollywood, and then the news.

People aren't given the facts accurately, and they're being
misrepresented to what | believe is to disarm our populace
to make us not able to defend ourselves.

So | advocate for anyone that is interested, anyone that is
thinking about it, to do your own research, talk to your
friends that have guns, and go out with them.

If you're the one friend that has a gun, talk to your other
friends that are interested in it and take them out, because
then you're gonna have two friends that have a gun, and
then eventually, you're gonna have a community
community of people that you trust and you know that are
all armed and are all willing to take care of each other.

| truly believe that if you feel that you are able to do it and
you get behind a gun and you pull that trickgger, all of
these preconceived notions, all of these anxieties are
going to start to go away , and you could become
someone who is comfortable with firearms.

And at that point, then that's another person in the culture
to spread the message of firearms.

Regardless if you walk away from today's conversation,
feeling as if the concept of gun ownership has been
demystified to you or not, | hope that this conversation
was at least thought provoking and eye-opening.

| don't like to imagine a scenario where | need to take up
arms as a trans woman against a fascist star. Uprising.

But for many of us living in these contentious parts of the
country, we're not only thinking about our get out plan,
but our plans to defend our own.
