This needs a re-record, but I'm really not up to that today.... it's ALL harmony. so it comes out sounding like a bad autotune, but it does generate without many artifacts, it just sounds bad from hopping between the different mixed vocals.

The Pointer Sisters - I'm So Excited (Null Version)

The Pointer Sisters - I'm So Excited (Chris Version)

Edit: Stress test... through a strange series of events I wanted to do some Seamus Kennedy, then got sidetracked with the original version of a song he covered. I present:
Leroy Van Dyke - The Auctioneer Song

The outro only, really the best part:

Tl;dr - The model doesn't slur or mumble too much, it's the input not being clean in most cases
Seamus Kennedy - The Harem of the Court of King Caractacs (Skip to the end for some very quick singing. It's pretty amusing)

Pretty difficult song to understand with bad diction, but with a dead clean input there aren't any errors or slurs.

Seamus Kennedy - A Proper Cup of Coffee (A more difficult tongue twister song, exact same comment as above, skip to the ending for the good part)

Seamus Kennedy - Wakko's America (originally from Animaniacs, obviously) Really just a showcase of good pronunciation, few errors

Seamus Kennedy - Pheasant Plucker (Tongue twister song made to get you to say "fuck". Notably, the AI does a few times. I would've figured the errors would be distinct from the ones people make)

Seamus Kennedy - Sarah, Sarah (Just a fun one. Took quite a bit of editing since the audience sings along)

and The Auctioneer Song as sung by
Pippa Pipkin

Donald Duck

Donald Trump

Plankton (from Spongebob)

(These amuse me. If you're only somewhat easily amused or only partially drunk or stoned, I recommend skipping to the end of the Donald Duck one)

I tried for a bit to get "In the Pines" on the batch before last and only succeeded in crashing the program. You have any trouble with the Nirvana songs?
I think that would be particularly difficult, especially the chilling scream Kurt threw in there.

Some of the stuff is a bit flaky. If you're running locally, maybe try disabling use of the GPU and just leave an invocation running for 20 minutes or whatever in the background.

I got it to process, thanks.

And it's shit!

Mixed 3 different methods both raw and pitched down (basically crepe is better at hopping between layered vocals, which is close to what Cobain's outro is with the overtones) and harvest is able to do the longer and clean notes better because it latches to an octave... This is the best I can do without spending real time one it
Where Did You Sleep Last Night (Unplugged) - Nirvana (the tough part starts at around 3:07, After relistening it's not as bad. The cello leaks into the vocals, but also hides some issues)

Sounds good.

Filtering the extracted vocals can help deal with intrusive instruments. Use the spectrum analysis tool in audacity to identify the note being played and try using a notch filter to quiet the instrument down, or filter the vocals one side or the other.

Upping the "hop length" option for mangio-crepe can also help here if the note isn't held too long, though it can lead to muddy vocals. I sometimes try a spread of values - 120, ~200, ~270 for difficult vocal tracks. You can just splice in the more "mumbly" results from higher values at the problematic parts. A cheap trick is also to mix in some of the original vocals to hide glitches.

I had a long flight today and Spotify wouldn't work, so all I had to listen to for nine hours was a playlist of downloaded Joshcore with a couple of MC Jarbo songs mixed in. I would like to extend my thanks to everyone that's contributed to this thread.

This is pretty good, I love this song. I don't know the musical term for it but at 3:27-3:30 it sounds like the same vocal thing Kurt does in the original song.

I don't know if 3:36 and 3:59 are intentional but if that effect could be controlled and extended, I think you could get a pretty convincing recreation of the hoarse/cracked singing from the original song.

Lol, has anyone done any Lou Reed? There's one song that comes to mind... I haven't looked through the whole thread yet.

Souls of Mischief - Cab Fare

I was fucking with a different model and just threw on NullV2 before I closed the app and it sounded alright enough to mix.
