Phil didn't want HIS car parked in the parking lot when the shopping riots happen.

More likely Kat probably works a weird shift and thus needed to be in Not Before Opening and larger malls have just fucked up parking lots those days. It actually makes a lot more sense if she was working at MAC that he had to drop her off because his (now very fat) wife didn't want to walk from the outskirts of the mall parking lot to her work.

Some do. The only jobs she had in Washington are Kohls, Fred Meyer and MAC. She moved in with Phil February of 2018, so the dates make sense. She was able to transfer to Kohls in Washington from the one she worked at in Michigan like Phil had mentioned when she first moved in.

The first one, and this is from ignorance, is would a nationwide chain really let a low-level employee move between stores like this? I just don't know enough about how big retailers work to know how big of an inconvenience letting Kat transfer would be for the Michigan or Washington stores.
The second one is, the begruptcy claims she was unemployed in all of 2018 (note the blank entry for her 2018 income on Page 35 of the attached PDF). How confident are you that these aren't some sort of mistake? The alternative (Phil perjured himself or his strip-mall attorney couldn't fill out a bankruptcy form properly) is possible but without knowing more I think it's basically a toss-up between these two explanations.

Using this spreadsheet and the powers of autism I got the following spending:

So yes there was a drop in February but he more than made up for it in March and April; I also skimmed the itemized charges and there were no obvious cuts lasting from February to May or spikes in June. The most likely explanation in my mind is that Phil spent less in February 2021 and more in March because he was setting aside money to his CPA + the down payment on an IRS installment plan, then the spending tapered off as we get into mid-2021 because he had an extremely good month when he was departnered from Twitch but that didn't last.

My personal theory is that Phil pays for things they both need (utilities, mortgage, and Doordash) but gives Kat little or no spending money for things she wants like a new gaming PC. If he didn't give her more spending money after she got fired, that would explain the lack of any longer term trends - Phil becomes very stingy when he's being asked to spend on something that does not benefit him immediately.

Absolutely. They're almost always understaffed, so letting some shitkicker move from one store to another is a way cheaper option than having to hire a whole new person.

One of the worst things about working for places like that is how they'll stretch the workforce more and more thin rather than hiring a bunch of people. But a pro is how flexible they can be with shifting around your hours to meet a personal need.

I don't think a chain would transfer a sales associate but if that associate put in two weeks and was on good terms with the chain I am sure she would have been an easy hire after a quick phone call, most people forget dates of employment and guess or try to cover up a gap in employment on resumes large gaps look bad. My take is Kat lied on the information I saw to try and upsell herself she was likely downstairs on the couch eating potatoes until she started at Fred Meyer's.
