I assume 'head of household' would be more than $1400 but I don't know anyone who went that route to ask. I mean, filing jointly would have guaranteed $2800. It's just finding out if both spouse are sent separate checks.

It would be difficult to check, but I know my wife and I each got (identical, save for the name) documentation from the IRS regarding the covid stimulus payments and child tax credit shit. So it's possible both he and Kat got separate checks / deposits.I assume 'head of household' would be more than $1400 but I don't know anyone who went that route to ask. Very informative. It would be difficult to check, but I know my wife and I each got (identical, save for the name) documentation from the IRS regarding the covid stimulus payments and child tax credit shit. So it's possible both he and Kat got separate checks / deposits.
I can confirm also that my wife and I received these same documents. It would be difficult to check, but I know my wife and I each got (identical, save for the name) documentation from the IRS regarding the covid stimulus payments and child tax credit shit. Perhaps it is what he would prefer to actually do, and the only thing missing is the stream appearances so people will stop speculating that she left him. It's just that his need for LARPing makes that sound odd to me, as he shoots himself in the foot with not having more to talk about, which he seems to know he's doing. He doesn't look content, to me.They sit on the couch, her Skyrimming, he's gacha pulling, as they order fast food. Sounds like exactly what Phil has always wanted, which he now has because Kat is a homebody.
While I can see him making that mistake, because he's a stupid asshole, I have a hard time reconciling that with her still living there, AND wanting anything to do with him. Absent of some contempt, it doesn't make sense to me that she wouldn't EVER get curious and watch his streams. Especially the less suspicious she is of him. I don't expect a Leanna-level reaction, but I do expect one. I'm not convinced she's a wooden board with make-up on it.This assumes that Phil perceives these "stands there and stares" stories as bad-mouthing at all, rather than a funny little story about his wife-prop for his stream chat. You're projecting your detractor-brain onto the subject.
Thus far, we have nothing on the list of "stuff Kat likes doing", that involves someone else. I admit this has an alternative explanation, though it remains difficult for me to see anyone living with the pigroach for so many years without wanting to off him, or themselves. He's that annoying to everyone else, through a monitor. God only knows how much worse it gets when you share a condo with him. I mean I don't care how weird you are, he's going to to push your limits. He's already said (several times iirc) that he tried to get her to watch wrestling and she absolutely hated it.
It's not about the credibility in his lies (I don't think what he talks about is 100% true to begin with, despite it being boring and suggesting marital problems), but about what he has to work with. Phil lacks imagination, so when he doesn't think to invent something as easy as "We play video games a lot" to any of the general questions about how he and Kat spend their time together, it's because it's true that they don't do that. From what I now know, I can see why. She doesn't seem to like anything that isn't solo, for debatable reasons. And even though this info is coming from Phil, I don't know why it would be a lie, because it goes against what he would like. This is not a point in your favor. If he and Kat's life suddenly starts sounding interesting, that's when I'm gonna assume he's making shit up. They're boring hermits. She's terrified of Phil's trolls. Why would she do anything besides play unmodded Skyrim on her days off?
Edit: if Phil suddenly starts dropping "me and muh wife played Halo together last night" stories on us, maybe you'll have the ghost of a point.
And Lumpy gets grumpy when someone even suggests that Kat help out financially. You know, like married couples do as a standard? We know the reason why, we have an entire thread on it, and I agree with you that no one is going to be happy finding out they could've lived a better life were it not for some shitty fucking wrestling-themed mobile game being more of a priority than they are.I just wanted to point out it's coming up on 3 years they've been married and they still have separate bank accounts.
I remember the latter, didn't know the former. Again, she just doesn't seem to like anything except what Phil claims she does, which is still hard to swallow as being accurate. And suggests marital problems, perhaps not from her disliking Phil, but at least from not being even roommate material.A year or two ago Phil mentioned that they were having a Christmas movie marathon and Kat put an end to that real quick. He said she was sick of Christmas stuff because she's surrounded by it all day long at her job.
The closest Phil and Kat have ever come to playing a co-op game is Animal Crossing. Phil would go around the island showing off what Kat had done.
Droopy isn't giving that cat up, because he knows exactly what's going to start being talked about the second that he does. He reads here enough to know that most think as long as Jasper is in the picture, so is Katherine.Has anyone seen Jasper Kitty lately? If the cat is in the condo the Kat is as well. If she's gone she either takes the cat with her or Jasper becomes an outdoor cat, Phail isn't going to pay surrender fees at a shelter, or even drive there himself.
He makes too much to file separately and get a stimulus check at all. He would have had to file jointly to get anything. When you file jointly the stimulus goes into the bank account you put down to receive whatever your tax refund comes in at.
So Phil COULD have filed separately.
I thought he did myself because he claimed it was cheaper for him.
Geeze its been so long since she's made an appearance I forgot just how horse-like she is.
That means he is VASTLY under reporting. He makes too much to file separately and get a stimulus check at all. He would have had to file jointly to get anything.
It's my understanding that what he owes in taxes lines up with his actual income, though. I believe @actually to have been the one to comment to that effect. I also don't know how he could under report his income while relying upon a CPA to do his taxes for him. Especially given the way he apparently does it is by handing over a giant cardboard box full of papers they get to sift through. That means he is VASTLY under reporting.
That does not surprise me at all.
All estimates of his taxes and rough estimates from his known federal tax payment plan suggest that he's (within reason) accurately reporting his income. The 6 months of income listed on his bankruptcy form were within a few hundreds of dollars of the amount/range I came up with at the time, which also suggests that he's not lying. That means he is VASTLY under reporting.

Yeah Jasper has been seen pretty recently. He jumped up on Phil's chair headrest while he was droning on about some bullshit.Has anyone seen Jasper Kitty lately? I thought so. With using a tax business to handle all the real work, I can't see the grifter doing a very good job cooking the books. Not to mention the fact that he has been on a payment plan for years, for a reason. He's not trying to keep more of his money, he's spending it while he has it and worrying about paying his taxes later. Which is retarded, but fits right in line with a number of things, such as signing up for a six year loan on his car so the monthly payments will be lower, and he gets to have more money to waste on bullshit. All estimates of his taxes and rough estimates from his known federal tax payment plan suggest that he's (within reason) accurately reporting his income. Yeah he claims roughly the right amount for his income. I have him somewhere around $120k which is a decent take home for a small streamer. Phil's lying is in his "Business expenses" at around $5k a month with the odd man out in July of last year at $9k.All estimates of his taxes and rough estimates from his known federal tax payment plan suggest that he's (within reason) accurately reporting his income. Do we have any idea what the deal with that was? I mean, he's claiming that was business, so gacha whaling is being hidden in there, but it seems odd that for one month, he whaled out that hard, in time for it to show up during his bankruptcy proceedings. Had to have raised Nancy's eyebrow for sure, because if $5k is supposedly the norm, there's going to be a reason it suddenly nearly doubles one month, and one month only.with the odd man out in July of last year at $9k
I believe the $9K expense was some numbers magic to make his income fall under a treshold for the bankruptcyDo we have any idea what the deal with that was? You are correct that he listed $9,000 in one month (2019 July) in the begruptcy filing but the strange part is that he did not need to claim that to get approved. I don't believe the roughly $5,000/month he claimed in the other months either but even that would have been enough to avoid the threshold you are talking about (which is legally called "presumption of abuse", if he fell into that he would have needed to provide a very good reason to not have the case dismissed or converted to an installment plan).I believe the $9K expense was some numbers magic to make his income fall under a treshold for the bankruptcy
I can think of no other reason he would bother with being accurate in his "expenses" being so inflated one month only, if it wasn't to bury his gacha whaling being especially outlandish that one month. It's why his business expenses were exaggerated to begin with, and it would've been easy enough to explain that money, had he not blown it on something he was trying to hide.Based on this I suspect, but cannot prove, that he did one of two things: Either he claimed his the down payment on his IRS installment plan as a business expense and nobody could be bothered to challenge it, or he took the money his mother gave him and spent it all on WWE Champions. Nobody tell me he's too low for that, he lied to her about getting a real job and has been late on his mortgage payment twice in the last ~two years.
