Minor update: During a stream last week Phil mentioned that Kat has been home "recently" and dislikes the sound of his voice. Add this to the Mount Everest-sized pile of evidence she's barely working anymore or got fired and the "marriage" is a roommate situation. Before anyone says "been home recently" means she's dumping him, she just isn't a catch. Even socially inept programmers can do better than her (especially since she is now 300 pounds, a claim Phil continually refuses to debunk).

I think the Kat Phil relationship (or lack thereof) fascinates me more then anything in the DSP universe. This man married a random woman in his audience solely to maintain the image of being a respectable robust adult in his mind. The idea of being a bachelor in his 30s was so threatening to his fragile ego he brought in the first woman he could find from Michigan to live with him. Phil is such a weird fucking dude. I would love to know what Phil actually thought of Kat deep down. Either completely indifference or disgust I would imagine. We will never know.
