Remember when Khet was buying an exercise bike but it broke in like 2 days? I'm starting to think Phil's assembly may not have been the problem after the most recent pics of her.

I call BS on her getting time off because of the Labor Day holiday, based on a 5 second search most big box retailers won't be closed or even on reduced hours for Labor Day. If Kat really does have a job (which is possible, the labor market for unskilled jobs is tight) then it looks like she's already on thin ice.

I think you’re right but if she is employed, she is probably part time and it’s not unlikely she would be off.

New lore from the Keem react stream: Kat was the one who convinced Phil to not take the $50k for the podcast because he's such a toxic person who has hurt everyone, even though she is fully aware of how bad their finances are. As a dang dirty troll I can't help but notice that Phil's word choice and jabs at Keem sound exactly like things he'd say, this is the first and only time he has claimed Kat has an interest in drama streamers, and it's hard to believe she thinks things are dire when she hasn't held a full-time job in years, but I guess that just makes me a nudnik conspiracy theorist.

He has a long history of throwing Khat under the bus for decisions and ideas that he himself made, in order to distance himself from the responsibility for those decisions and ideas.

It's weird how much he seems to hate Kat, yet it's so important to him to portray their relationship as happy and healthy. All bad ideas are blamed on her, every story about Kat makes her seem like an idiot, all she gets for her birthday is more restaurant food, and so on.

I don't think it's weird at all: Kat has absolutely failed at being the mother/maid figure Phil really wanted, so he's unhappy about that and he's too bratty to keep it to himself which is where we get the weird passive-aggressive sulking about her. But she's also there to prove he's a Successful Serious Mature Adult, so any discussion of his relationship with her has to be positive - if he admits he married a dysfunctional autistic woman, or that his relationship is in trouble, that's proof he's a loser and only a half-step above inceldom. This is why I expect any divorce/Kat disappearing in the night will be immediately followed by cope and retcons because he will never accept a narrative where there was something he could have done to make things turn out differently.

He doesn't care about her, only the relationship. Most of his stories about her involve her doing something stupid or being overly upset about small things. The story about the Mexican food doordash where Kat put sour cream on her french toast because she thought it was whipped cream is a good one. He says that he guess when they order food he's going to have to taste test it all.
