That's what happens when you live with the most insufferable person - she has to eat her feelings, as the moment she tries to tell Dave her emotions, he makes it about himself. Imagine Kat losing another retail job and all of a sudden, it's "That reminds me of that time when I got laid off at the helicopter company..." *snort* "And, I busted my ass for them! Did all that free work off the clock, the CEO thanked me personally..." while Kat is thinking "Why did I open my mouth?" Going for another piece of pie, to drown her sorrows. I mean, let's be fair: she asked for this life. I'm willing to bet money that she regrets leaving Subaru man for a guy that takes a shower once a week. Guess it was between Phil or sleeping in a van in San Diego with her sister, Jenna turning tricks for meth.

If they will hire anyone off the street to be a manager in retail, they are completely incompetent and have no training or experience, tell me why Kat is unable to get a promotion to management? She must be really really dumb and lazy.
