According to Pigroach, Subaruman forced Kat to watch all the new Marvel movies with him whenever they released in theaters. She apparently was not very interested in those movies, so Pigroach subsequently mentioned this as an example of how Subaruman grossly mistreated Kat.
Extra funny considering Phil’s old but deep love for everything marvel.
I bet Phil would just hate it if a masculine, outdoorsman invited him to a Marvel movie (for free!). And then maybe invite himself in to the snortfort for a night of drink guzzling and ass jokes.
From tidbits we know from Phil, he drew Kat in with needing help with his alcoholism. He's also said he quit mobile games once Kat came into the picture. And now... obviously those are both proven massive failures.
She was clearly interested in streaming, and Phil made it out in the beginning as if she’d be a part of his streams.
If you’re a young girl with zero prospects, and zero family who has ambitions to be a twitch streamer, it be an obvious career move to land an established streamer boyfriend/husband.
(Too bad that Khat was really naive and maybe a little dumb, and thought Phil was someone who could be that guy. Instead of THE guy.)
Now clearly something happened very early on in the marriage, to make Khat totally dump those plans.
Phil likes to pretend that she never was a streamer, and “assholes and mouth breathing MORAHNS” chased her away.
But what if it was Phil? Khat realized she effectively had been catfished. The established, well off streamer she thought she married was a bottomless pit of money and a joke online.
The alcoholic who just needed the support of a good woman to right his ship, turned out to be an alcoholic gambling addicted asexual weirdo, who just wanted a momwife/beard and had zero intentions of ever changing.
Khat was stuck. No family, no place she could move to. So she took her toys and went into a self imposed exile, refusing to be part of Phil’s autistic streams.
