I mean for a guy that leaves his house once a week, maybe, for groceries and cat food, anything is eventful for him. Literally, anything. Just look at when Comcast came out to fix his box. Or when Kat popped the tire or some shit.

Where for anyone else, it's a 5 minute conversation piece when someone asks, "What'd you do over the weekend?", it's a life altering event for him.

You guys remember when he talked for months about a burger king burger he got that was messed up? That's how uninteresting his life is. A shitty burger from a shitty fastfood chain was something that he thought was eventful enough to talk about for months.

For the record, I think you're 100% right and his insults are very much not intentional towards Khet. But it'll never stop being funny to me how often he accidentally insults her. I think him being oblivious to it is part of what makes it so funny to me. We're by no means nice to her on here, but I genuinely feel like our jokes are more in the territory of "harmless fun" while Phil makes it seem like he's the most passive aggressive of bitter roommates.

Khat and Phil kinda put things in perspective.

While I would usually think it’s a mix of tragic and comic to see a 40 year old incel with a waifu, or a cat lady with her romance novels, things could indeed be much worse.

They could be married with a fat, retarded gorilla named Khat/Phil.

Now if only Phil could get to the realization that he doesn’t need a mo-waif to avoid being a loser, he could get divorced and free up a lot of space in his budget, because the monthly doordash bill has to be HUGE.
