I went back to check and I just noticed that she was also born in CT, like dsp... Didnt remember that detail.

She may also have ties to Rhode Island: One of the people finder results I found for her was in RI; I brushed it off as a false positive but it's possible she lived there if she was born in CT.

Do we have any idea what she was doing in Michigan before "Subaru Man"? She moved around so frequently that I think something funny must have happened; the "wannabe hermit" theory makes sense but it doesn't line up with moving every 1-2 years.

A couple of them appeared to be halfway houses. My guess is she bounced around those for a while when she couldn't find a sap that let the weird sorta cute retarded girl stay, until she found Subaruman who "saved" her. It's fairly common for those in the mental health system to live like that.

I beg to differ. The correct hypocorism for Catherine is Cat (Cat Ballou springs to mind). Kat is the same but for Katherine. Not that it bears any significance in Phil's wreckage of a life.

Katherine is usually Katie though. Maybe its a midwestern thing.

I have never EVER seen 'Cat' ever in the midwest but Kat isnt entirely uncommon.
