Except practically all his debt was wiped with the bankruptcy. With the credit cards discharged he only has a $40k deficiency on the Connecticut condo which is more than covered by his ~$120k equity on the Washington place even if it is enforceable. That plus his high income means he is already a decent target if that is her angle. Unless I'm misunderstanding you and "all his debt" means the WA mortgage, but that will not be paid off until 2044 (30 year mortgage). If that's her scam it's a hilariously bad one.

Washington alimony law is also intentionally vague - I posted it way upthread but it may as well say "here are some guidelines but it's really the judge's discretion". The concept of at-fault divorce simply does not exist out there and the discussion of "equitable distribution of property" explicitly states that a 50-50 split is not the preferred/default/whatever. For alimony, the standard is "changes in standard of living"; I believe this means that his income, spending, and sole ownership of the house + car could count against him but the bankruptcy would not.

In short: It'd be a gamble if she left him today and it'd be a gamble if she left him 10 years from now. It's unlikely that he could get anything out of her in a divorce but he's definitely petty enough to try.

Personally I think it is more likely than not that she'll leave him but it'll be more to do with him being in actual financial trouble (car trouble, major home repairs, Hospital Saga v2.0, parents not giving him money anymore) to the point it impacts her. It's not about getting money out of him in divorce court, it's about getting that money from a better mark.

There is a massive difference in Leannuh and Khet and that is that Phil put a ring on Khet. There's enough sick-in-the-head detractors looking at his every move and looking shit up who would see that Khet has filed divorce papers and we'd notice a suspicious increase in "days off" which would be the days where Phil would have to go to court or talk to his lawyer. It's something that he can't hide since there's a legal binding contract between him and Khet, when there wasn't one with Leanna, so when she fucked off he kept up appearances easily since there was nobody to fact-check him on what was really going on.
I do think you are half right in your prediction though, I think he will keep up appearances while the divorce is going through the court, denying that it's happening and going full Pigroach Stasi on anyone claiming otherwise. But once it goes through and Khet gets monthly alimony he won't deny it because it will hurt the one thing he loves most, which is his bottom line. Leanna leaving didn't hurt his bottom line at all, Khet siphoning money from him guaranteed would make him lose his shit.

This is not true, marriage licenses automatically transfer across state lines and WA and CT have divorce laws to the effect of, "the issuing state/country on a marriage license does not matter but only in state residents can file for divorce".

If you had to get divorced in the state where you were married, destination weddings would die out overnight - nobody's going to have a wedding in Hawaii if they might have to fly back out there for a divorce.

We'd still find out because the fact that they got divorced (if not the detailed filings themselves) are public record - Washington only requires special documentation if you are requesting birth or death certificates. We took a few days to find the marriage license and I'm sure an Elite Field Autist could write a script to automatically check divorce records in Seattle County.

Just to emphasize @twattycake's words, a divorce would be in whatever state you currently reside in. There's probably a residency requirement (minimum number of days you've maintained a residence in the previous year or whatever), but that's it. The court would also likely factor in any debt payments he has to make. Obviously, the bankruptcy got rid of a large chunk of that, but they would almost certainly, for instance, account for his federal tax payments.

That said, they would also want his tax returns from the last few years due to his fluctuating income, and that's what they would use to determine his ability to pay. Because he makes so much more than her, he would almost certainly be on the hook for alimony, but he would also get to keep stuff he brought into the marriage (basically anything he purchased before they were living together). The main entertainment, imo, would be the salty salty ragelet Phil would become again, just like when Leanna left. His spittle-flecked impotent flailing any time someone said anything that reminded him how much of a failure he is.

Fascinating for all the wrong reasons as usual, Phil. Same thing with Kat. He wants her to parade around, but doesn't care about her other than as a LARPing beard. In spite of being clearly a Panda downgrade, she's probably a better fit, since she only cares about his open wallet. That is mostly why I feel the divorce arc is inevitable. Yeah, her brain was clearly popped out of the oven before it was fully done, but she's shown enough self preservation instincts to trade a much better partner on normal human terms in favor of Phil, who just had more money. She already monkey branched from Jeff to Phil for personal gain. I think knowing when to cut the dead weight and just collect alimony won't be above her processing power when the time comes. He's got pitiful amounts of T for sure. It's almost like his lifestyle is tailor made for a man to get the lowest T levels possible. He gets no exercise, no sun, eats like crap, gets sloshed on gin regularly. He also has the symptoms and they have only gotten worse through time. He's lethargic, his sex drive doesn't even exist anymore, his arms look like twigs from no muscle mass, he's getting fatter and developing man tits, he's got mood swings and hair loss.
Also, regarding mood swings, he doesn't even have enough T to legitimately get angry or rage at games or detractors anymore, at worst he gets really pissy. Regarding hair loss, I don't mean just regular natural loss of head hair that men go through, but hair loss all over his body. Now I don't want to look at his disgusting flabby naked torso, but the proof is right there on the goatee. It was always a wee bit patchy but it looks horrendous now, just compare it to how it looked like in 2013 and it's night and day.

Well this was in 2013, well before they moved in together and only ~ 1 year after he unveiled her publicly. I think it's less to do with her being abrasive and more to do with her wanting anything. He wants an attractive & young woman just for the status symbol, he doesn't actually want to bang her. Probably. Her body language on stream wasn't just "not affectionate", it was "actively dislikes physical contact". It might be autism, it might be other mental issues, there might be more to the demon possession story than what we know, but if she's that nervous about people touching her then she's going to be terrified of sex even if she wants it.

I can completely relate to a love of eating, as well as having a routine, but the important aspect of routine in one's life is management of where it belongs. A morning routine makes a lot of sense, pretty much everyone has one, though they vary widely. Never changing a damn thing, ever, especially about ones traits that people find unbearable? No. Just... no.

Like I've said before, where Phil goes wrong is in how extreme his lack of change is. Want to hit up all kinds of eateries while visiting a place you've never been to before? Great, just don't make it the exact same places you already eat at and make sure that it isn't the only fucking thing you do. I'm pretty sure one reason Phil hasn't gone anywhere since then is that he realized he took all his habits with him and decided to just not bother rather than, you know, adopt some new habits.
