I know this is late, but the Tranch is the definition of soft target lol. As someone pointed out, the troons aren't fighters. Advertising your cache and where it is, having only one person with actual military experience, having fucking Kevin of all people inside your perimeter. You're fucked. Phil. Paul. Whatever the fuck his real name is, probably thinks because there is a lot of clear fields of vision (and fire) around the tranch, that he could create overlapping fields of fire with a bunch of untrained mental defectives and therefore thinks he has some sort of impenetrable fortress. If an actual RW militia has an interest in them and actually wants to go hard (why would they all risk that kind of attention for those idiots), the tranch is absolutely fucked and no amount of posting pictures of your .50 on twitter is going to prevent it.

Also worth noting that simply having military experience doesn't necessarily mean anything, skills need to be maintained and incompetence is universal. It's not even close to uncommon for a man to skate through basic after being kicked back a couple times till he meets standards, spend his contract just waiting and begging to leave, spend the next ten years without ever looking at anything to do with fighting or going on something that resembles a maneuver, and then when fighting is suddenly relevant again he goes and buys an AR and just assumes he's still a flawless killing machine like Pat McNamara. Chances are, he spent most of his time standing around and waiting for nothing to happen or sweeping gravel parking lots, and chances are there are plenty of civilians out there who are objectively more dangerous than him, to say nothing of other folks with outside-the-wire jobs.

Tl;dr Phil may have technically been a trained warrior but that doesn't mean he wasn't objectively dogshit at the whole thing, and he's invariably gotten worse in his downtime.

Honestly this is why I respect Penny and Bonnie a lot more than Kev and Wedge. The former definitely have some issues, like their needless hostility toward their neighbors, Penny abandoning his family, edgy try-hard communist politics, and general wannabe badass tendencies, but at least they fucking work and generally act like adults (adult weirdos, but still). Anime and video games are a scapegoat, or a small piece of the puzzle at most. These are mentally broken individuals who have suffered abuse from a very young age that have been encouraged by society and their fellow groomers. Pathetic incel excuses for men, who are guided by their coom. They perceive being a woman as the "easy way out," and being trans currently makes you uncriticisable.

Lets all rejoice that they have taken themselves put of the gene pool.

It's no different than during the 80s and early 90s. Neurotic loners with violent manifestos and schizophrenics with voices that urge them to violence were reading bloody novels or were the kid that nobody could rough-house with because he'd start fighting for real with nails and teeth and rocks, before vidya and animoo. Victorian teens had novel reading mania that had their parents pearl clutching about how the new generation would be raised on fantasy and lose their morals.

As always, it is much more uncomfortable to think of media as outlets for regular emotions which all humans have that become dangerous when they spiral out of control, rather than as gardens of sin that magically turn your sweet little cherub into a greaser who drinks beer, smokes cigarettes, and plays with dice and swtchblades behind the bowling alley with his buddies.

Your word recognition is good wedge. Audiologists don't base audiograms on how you come across. They conduct the tests.

Struggling to listen is not the same thing as struggling to hear. The audiologist likely explained this to him. They tend to when someone with normal hearing shows up declaring themselves as Deaf with an ASL interpreter.

The recommendation was for ENT to take a look at dizziness, no mention of the issuing of hearing aids. Wedge has a few piercings and body mods and has taken selfies in the past where he has hoop earrings that have looped around his lobes as he is lying down. Are we sure it was a hearing aid? He sure as shit didn't get them from this last appointment

Couldn't this be a sign he has "auditory processing disorder"? I've heard of children being diagnosed with this-- their hearing is fine, but they can't process what they're hearing correctly.

A lot of what Wedge was describing just sounds like general discomfort. I think anything that is even mildly uncomfortable is being blown out of context. "We're going to put you on a table and tilt you". I get your dumb Wedge but common sense indicates that they're probably going to have to strap you in for safety alone, does the prick want to go sliding off the table?

Also having a hard time believing being strapped up is a triggering moment for you when I've had to witness countless fucking photos of you bound and you literally blew your arsehole out by being suspended in the air via an anal hook. Pick your struggle bro.

If you KNOW you cannot read a 2 page document and you have trouble asking questions write down your questions before going into the appointment. Do some personal research on the procedure, give yourself the time you need to absorb it and hand the piece of paper over with the questions you have written down. You're not even fucking trying to avoid being uncomfortable. These doctors seeing you for things outside of your mental state probably don't specialise in spergology and are not mind readers.

But I'm the victim isn't' just easier for you, it's also flat out laziness to refuse to work with what you've been given.
