know nothing about games, what are some that would be real cheap for a 2016 xbox one?

I bought the xbox for kids christmas 2016. I don't know if there are different editions or whatever. Do I need to check what ours is? Xbox one is what I know and I know it does have a hard drive (some didn't?) because the kids have no discs for their stuff.

I got an ad somewhere for GTA5 for 9.99 I thought that's pretty cool that a big game like that would be so cheap now. Recommend me some other real cheap stuff?

I've barely played anything since I was a teen, wolf3d and doom on pc were cool. Do like fps, racing, fighter jet, maybe more realistic flight sims but have never tried that, not into any kind of story type games or non-powersports.

I did have a ps2 for a while a long time ago and liked gta3 & vice city but I really just did the cheats on those and fucked shit up, the missions were kinda too much like a story game for me I guess.

And is there a a difference between owning a disc or getting it from internet? Like if MS shuts down, goes out of business tomorrow or if MS sees I'm posting on this neo-nazi polyphobe forum, will a disc still work that a download wouldn't?

It's only as cheap as it is due to rockstar making all their money off of microtransactions, tho the campaign is still fun

Depends on the game, tho having a disc largely means you'll never lose the game if there is single player content

If Microsoft, or anyone for that matter, is able to link your private account to your Kiwi Farms account then you have fucked up and didn't read the disclaimer when making an account here. As for cheap good games, there are plenty.
Witcher 3 goes about 20 bucks for a used disc but you can find digital keys for much cheaper
You can get the Dark Souls trilogy for about 50 bucks. Sounds pricey but for all three games and all DLC it's a steal.
Monster Hunter World is also about 20
Nier Automata again about 20 bucks
Sunset Overdrive is hidden gem (because it used to be Xbox One exclusive) and also dirt cheap (10-20 bucks for physical cheaper for digital) and it's a pretty good game if you like open world, character customization, and zombies.
