Larry Wolfe runs a successful YouTube channel where his most popular series, What Are We Eating?, takes a look at some of the food items that can be bought in frozen food sections and convenience stores around the US. He not only prepares the food, but also takes an in-depth look at the ingredients and nutrition of each item. While most of the items that he reviews are horrific, he will rate each item much like any food reviewer would, and will even recommend items if they're not complete shit.

The items that are hands down the worst out of them all, are the meat products that you can buy at the Dollar Tree.

He also has a series of videos that focus on BBQ and grilling

He's eating the most vile garbage that was scraped from whatever storage container in China and shipped to the US $1.00 retail, answers what I had asked about the metric of quality for one-dollar steaks. More importantly so I don't find out myself. He can shill if he wants to, it's his body he's poisoning, not mine.

For some reason, YouTube's algorithm seems to think that I want to watch this guy's videos. I don't, and never will. What's the appeal of some hillbilly reviewing objectively terrible food from fucking Dollar Tree?
Maybe there's a chance he could teach fellow hillbillies about nutrition and the beetus. :optimistic:

He's other videos actually have him cooking, the 'what are we eating' stuff is more like the food equivalent of a circus freak show.

Don't get the hate. Love his channel. Seems like a genuinely good dude and his terrible dad jokes are great.
I think he gets written off as a dumb hillbilly eating awful shit, but I find his insight (really) on how awful some of this food is health wise is pretty valuable. It explains a lot of America's issues with obesity and other health problems. The cheap, quick frozen stuff is usually the only thing that poorer people are able to afford.

Dunno, every once and a while its actually good.

I like his cooking videos but he's too crippled to make them and not incentivised to make the extra effort.

Since he tries this stuff you don't have to. I think he has saved people quite a few dollars. That ground beef was atrocious. I would not give it to my dog.

Some filthy slaughterhouse floor must have scrapings just above the cut off line for fit for human consumption. So it goes right to the dollar store where low income people think it is a great deal. But it's not. Honestly, some of that meat looks like it could make you sick. Plus it is mostly water. You would be better off spending your money on some actual meat and stretching it with bread or something if you have a very limited budget.

actually theres a few times where he points out that you can get better quality (and healthier) ingredients at places like Walmart if you just buy it fresh from the butcher.

isnt this guy some sort of disabled or terminally ill? i remember watching a video of him gorging on gas station hotdogs and he mentioned needing to raise money for a wheelchair or something

I actually enjoy his recipes. I didn't even know there was a "Chow Mein Sandwich" until I stumbled upon his channel.

Saw some comments where some people dislike him for being a Trump supporter so it's just the usual. I don't watch all his videos, but the only political thing I've found is a joke about Stormy Daniels in his turkey and stuffing meatloaf video.

I think one of his children might be a contestant in the 'beetus lottery but other than that I don't see the issue with him. He's not like PitMasterX or BabyBackManiac both of whom (IMO) come across as utter shills.

I've tried his Salisbury steak recipe before, it came out better than I expected.

He has Spinal Muscular Atrophy which is progressive, but he seems to have a milder form of it.
He talks about it on his other channel:

People always tell him to sharpen his knives because of the way he cuts, but that'd explain how his hands are partially paralyzed. He seems to get pissed off when people comment about his knives but hell I would too if people were making smartass comments about something that's actually because of a disease.
