Archaic is the lead admin on Bulbapedia, a Brisbane native, and a confirmed pedophile. He started his online presence in 1999, and has come out as a pokephile, weaboo (his preferred Otaku names being Orihashi Mamoru and Mukashi), and "professional shipper". Early in his tenure as head admin, he took part in a porn-roleplay based hidden forum on Bulbagarden, and came out as a pedophile on /vp/ soon after the board forum was discovered.

Since then, he has gotten married, become a student at the University of Queensland and teaches undergraduate classes. He takes pride in being a total Pokemon nerd, having won a state championship at Pokemon Snap. He also ships Ash/Misty, and has been known to become extremely aggressive if his ship is challenged.

Oh yeah, and he thinks that age limits for sex are stupid, because apparently "Japan doesn't have them". Make of that what you will.

what y'all should know: on bulbagarden (the forums) there was a secret forum where the mods cybered with underage users and exchanged nudes. of course theres no definitive proof but testimonies can be found here

liam pomfret himself has several quotes that should seem very familiar if you click around this board about how age is a number and all that

i really wish i did. it seems like a tumblr update fucking broke some of those images, i remember reading them clear as day when they were posted. i've been googling to see if anyone else archived this but sadly it looks like only /vp/ really cared to discuss it. the fate of discussion on imageboards man, like sandcastles

Edit 2: Welp the archive only goes back 2 years and that long screencap is from at least 2011 so I got nothing. It's hard to find anything more than "they sold the site and tried to keep it a secret" and some mentions of the porn thread and Archaic being a pedo. This is a post from the guy who apparently started the porn thread, but it seems to have been edited after ED and /vp/ found it.

When I was little I hung out on the Bulbagarden forums. In 2011 they had a signup for new moderators with no lower age restriction. And any new mod would be able to see the secret forum (which was called Mozz's Van after this guy Mozz who covered a lot of Archaic's server costs). There were actually underage mods at that time who had access. The Van got taken down a few years ago for presumably that reason—not anything ethical, they were afraid that the feds would come for them. I'm unsure whether most of the forum's clientele, which included a significant number of kids, was really aware of this because the admins were super hush-hush about the whole thing and never mentioned it in public aside from once or twice in passing. I certainly didn't know anything until years after I ever stepped foot in there. As far as I know, Archaic is still trying his hardest to pretend it never existed as he always has.

I'm surprised I forgot about this for so long. It's a shame because the main site Bulbapedia is a really good source for Pokémon stuff.
