I just use Firefox desktop. Kind of a pain to search, but you can minimize it on an Android phone and still listen. And then Chrome or an app for whatever. I'm such a pleb/pussy I don't go near anything I can't install via the Google Play store. Hey, it works.

Oddly this YouTube workaround does not work on Brave, which I thought was supposed to be the preferred browser of Hax0r kings everywhere.

News to me. I've never been able to get it work. Shuts down when I try.

Edit2: I sort of did get it to work on Brave. Turn on desktop, THEN check status/notices. Hit play there and it works. I'll be. Firefox doesn't require this extra step for some reason.
