He's referring to the Movie Night Discord, I think. Sneasel was last staff in something like 2019, when Emspex and a few others used Discord. We would take via DMs. There might've been a small group chat for that. Whatever his perception is of the current runnings is really off.

What's really funny is this dude thinks this is some huge takedown to the point where he posted it in several places and is bragging about how he already made alts to cope with the fallout. As if nobody, ever, in the history of this site has ever made the allegation prior that I am sometimes really difficult or unpredictable.

It is true that I want to eliminate the need for off-site Discords, just in general. They cause problems, in part because voicechat always leads to drama (we had TeamSpeak/Ventrilo around until like 2016, and Sneasel should be old enough to remember how Pinetar threatened to rape Applecat while drunk in TS one night). Chat is way less dramatic and personal and potential for creepy. That's why even when we've had Discords I never add VOIP.

Banned users are their own problem and yeah it's true I can't stop people from being friends with total fucking retards too dysfunctional to stay on the forum. Basically, if someone gets banned, chances are their friends get banned too because they go off-site and start jerking each other off. Look at Eyeless. Barely the fainest fucking idea who this guy is but he seems to think I have it out for him.

Covering your ass is not something that stops being applicable outside of the context of KF. Discord is porous as fuck and you damn well know it's an assumed risk like any other on the Internet. What anyone else does on it should not be your guideline, set your own with full knowledge of risks involved and take responsibility for taking those risks.
