Personally, I believe that the narrative that the stalker children will enjoy prison is false. Rather, it is almost certain that the stalker children will in fact not enjoy prison, as being deprived of ones freedom while being subject to unpleasant conditions and even more unpleasant peers isn't perceived as an experience that enjoyment can be derived from according to the majority of the population.

It's not false that crime went down nationwide.

What's very misleading is it is averaged across the population as if it is a single state or city, so the surge in crime in states like California, Washington or New York is offset by significant decreases in Texas, Florida and Ohio (for example).
