A boy falls in love with a girl.

Unable to confess, he is gifted with by a deus ex machina with the girl's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.

But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.

Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.

People start dying unexpectedly at a rapidly increasing rate with no discernible, underlying cause. Even the deaths themselves are varied across the board. The only connecting factor is the rapid increase.

It turns out to be an evil, invisible ghost army, able to cause subtle influence in our world. This army of the dead is being led by Satan's son, to extinguish all life on earth and nothing can stand in his way... until a rag tag group of misfit "ghost hunters" from a local Japanese school club accidentally uncovers their plot and has to take it upon themselves to stop the evil army of the dead all on their own while everyone around them just thinks they're crazy... hilarity ensues!

A harem anime in which all of the girls are legit nut-cases who need to be institutionalized and the boy they obsessively fall in love with tries to get away from them to no avail (they're not necessarily yanderes, just crazies). Stockholm Syndrome may or may not set in depending on who the """best""" girl is, but regardless, the boy is the true victim and no one believes him and think he's the crazy one for not embracing his masculinity (for a soyboy-esque teenager) and banging the girls who want his dick.

A nation builds a gundam to take over the world. They send it over the border in a surprise attack. Then it gets shot by some tanks in the legs that limit it's range of motion to it can't climb things and has to stay on the plain. Then mobile artillery fire begins forcing it into a box canyon. Then, when it it well away from everyone and unable to be recovered by enemy forces, they drop a couple JDAMs on it leaving it a smoldering wreck.

Mechs are fucking stupid.

I like how realismfags always assume an 18-meter+ design when something like an Arm Slave or an AT is more likely.

Slice of life anime:
フレッシュプリンスオブ大阪 - Furesshupurinsuobu Ōsaka

Uiriamu Sumisu, a young hooligan from an impoverished part of Tokyo, is involved in a minor altercation with a low level member of the Yakuza.

He walks away from the fight mostly unscathed, however his single mother is so overwhelmed by her son's bullish behavior that she sends him off to live with her sister (his aunt), along with his uncle and cousins, in the wealthy suburbs of Osaka.

Uiriamu must quickly learn to adapt to a drastically different lifestyle with his Uncle Firippu, Aunt Bibian, and cousins Kāruton, Hirarī, and Ashurī.

Hilarity often ensues as Uiriamu is generally unaware of the differing social customs of the upper class, and often worries about bringing dishonor to his strict but loving Uncle (A high powered prosecutor, and later political candidate), dealing with his "Banana" cousin Kāruton (who acts far too "American" for his own good), and furthering his own burgeoning J-Rap career.

Generic forgettable crap to start, idiot hit by truck and goes to fantasy land.

He has his fun there, then he dies again and now he's in the wild west. Keeps dying, keeps hopping to a bunch more worlds, different genre for each.
Then he's back home, he finds out that he wasn't just gone or dead but mindswapped with a native from each world he went to. So he's gotta figure out how and why this is happening, figure out a way to stop filthy transdimensionals from ruining his life while he's visiting their world, and maybe there's some bad people who want to do bad things, I think anime does that sometimes.

Gotta keep it as generic as possible for as long as possible and then take a hard left turn, that's how you get the anime nerds talking.

I have an idea for one.

In the 26th century, all of the solar system is colonized. But, a group of discontented people called Twilight Dawn aim to free the solar system by getting rid of the earth rulership, even the colonies that have sympathies for them via brutal methods. They even employ a fleet to match that of earth's.

The focus of the story is on a group of earth-loyal soldiers called the Æsir, humans enhanced with nanotechnology that was born from Project Einherjar that allows them to materialize winged suits of armor and weapons that fit their persona or disposition. Along with melee weapons that suits their combat methods, they're each given the names of the various Norse gods that were part of the Æsir and a suitboard AI modeled after who they held in the highest reverence, like a family member.

The story follows the perspective Nathan Lance, a member of the solar system equivalent of SWAT that was inducted into the Æsir after nearly dying from failing to stop a terror attack that left hundreds dead with his little brother being amongst them. After being given the nano enhancement, he's given the callsign of Baldur and a 2-handed variant of an ulfberht sword. Not only will he have to contend with a system wide civil war, but the looming threat from a race of humanoid machines called the Klaxons that hold a fanatical hatred for all organic life.
