Given how the wizard battles involve pointing at your enemy and yelling the name of your attack to shoot some kind of magic beam or whatever at them....it translates flawlessly. What the fuck, man. Harry Potter has been an isekai anime this whole time and that never dawned on me. And because of Malfoy, the chuds are now acting like fujoshis and the weebs are acting like skinheads.
Everything I 've known is wrong.
That's how I feel about female Snape. Wasn't that character supposed to be a depressed, bitter celibate who winds up saving his own competition's child? Is female Snape supposed to be this grungy pessimistic woman who gave up after not getting picked by Harry's dad? I feel like I'm the only one who thought that much about it because it's probably none of that; it's just dudes into stacked goth chicks making the art, simple as that. And that's alright, it's a bunch of wish fulfillment for amusement one way or another and that's really the appeal of Harry Potter in the first place.

You could easily turn Harry Potter into a shonen anime with a few tweaks here and there.

Theres a lot ot variations on the memes, but Female Snape seems to be unpopular compared to Snape being otherwise unchanged because of him sacrificing himself for the love he never had since Harry/Malfoid is reversed Snape/Lily
This is then carried over to Ron, who last I checked has used the veil of death to fuck himself in another dimension (lol)
I also saw Voldemort as the audience surrogate manipulating authoring their romance and unwittingly ensuring his own defeat at the joined hands of true love
This is whay ive gathered in between muting and blocking ads for cryptoscams whores and local politics of states ive never been to

Oh, I’ve absolutely thought about it she’d basically be an older more jaded version of this.
The whole “looks like James with Lily’s eyes” takes on a different twist, as well as the way she’d be treating Harry, even as she still hated him for being their kid.

Most of what I've seen of female-Snape seems to be gooning material than actually trying to develop an actual story around "I loved your dad, but your mom was a hussy who took him from me and I hate her for that. So I hate you because you're part Lily, but want to protect you because part James." Or any other possible idea that might come to mind.
Think that's why it's unpopular compared to shit like "Spec Ops wetwork agent McGonagall" or "Dumbledore beating Dobby". Lack of lore and more just spank material.
What exactly are they saying, anyway?
NGL, as hilarious as that was, I've seen way too many AI anime-edits made that them speaking English instead of Japanese was a bit jarring.

But most if not all of those were battle-harem instead of shonen which I find kinda cringe, I guess that's the vibe intended from people who want to rule 63 everyone else and not just Malfoid.

That’s part of it, yeah. Other reasons are exploring the dynamics of what the character would be like as a woman and how certain scenes would play out. A popular one with Ron is she starts off fairly androgynous and essentially the same, but one year hits the growth spurts and it’s suddenly very apparent she’s a girl. Ironically enough, the friendship actually stays almost exactly the same with her and Harry, so like a tomboy childhood best friend trope, very popular one in anime.
Also you don’t get tomboys a lot these days either because “trans” as well.
And it’s just nice to do old school fandom stuff with it since we really haven’t been able to lately with the whole “problematic yadda yadda mindset”.

They've been consooming harry potter for years though and still haven't stopped even with this recent performative outrage.
You literally would not need to tweak jack shit for it to work. Only thing I guess that would be worthy of "tweakage" is add more of the wackier characters from the books that got cut from the movies and give ron his lines back. The books would have gotten as popular on a global scale so fast if someone stepped in to tweak it to be more like other media, and I don't think I would have watched all that dragonball, gundam, pokemon, yugioh, transformers, medabots, digimon, and bobobo bo bobobo as a kid if they were all altered in some form to "fit more" instead of just being their own thing with kind of vaguely similar beats and tropes used at some point in them (that were also in Harry potter). My issue with people acting like turning the wizard school adventure story to fit romance story beats instead would make it better is a similar one I guess. It's not letting shit stand on it's own while being inspired by something, and is instead just trying to warp it to fit a generic slop some corporate bean counters would try to do for a "modern audiences" variant just a few years ago.
Both are funny but I don't like how they've kinda morphed into Identical characters in both visual depiction and just citing statistics and being horny for harry potter. I mean I made that kinda clear before but people didn't seem to get it so here's my extremely sloppy diagram explaining my issue without words for those who cannot read and understand my meanings
