I was looking for one and I couldn't find it, so I am making it now. Mostly for the trilogy, but I suppose Andromeda is also a Mass Effect game, unfortunately.

Fun games, its unfortunate the sequels dumbed down the RPG elements in favor of more shooty shooty bang bang, but I still had a great time with them. I still choose to believe the indoctrination theory despite the devs being retards and not being capable of reading the room. It explains the ending way better than they did, and made the best out of what was a otherwise bland ending.

As a first post (I'm not sure it's the kind of thing that should sit in the OP, not that it ended up containing anything valuable anyway): I was watching this random video I saw about how empty and annoying Jacob was as a character and it was ok. Then, few minutes before the end (I embedded it from the moment he begins), the YouTuber starts ranting about how he is a problematic antiblack stereotype because he cheats on whomever romances him and has a father who abandons him. He even uses the Reddit/TikTok terminology I always, always see used: 'that's really, really fucking bad... like seriously, what the actual fuck?'

Predictions. Mass effect 5 will make Starfield and Dragon Age pronouns look heterosexual. Willing to put Ugandan money on mass effect 5 looking worse than Mass effect Andromeda. I find it weird how much Starfield looks like dragon age pronouns despite using different game engines.

Veilguard's failure will ensure Bioware won't be around for Mass Effect 5, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Dear God I sincerely hope no such game will ever crawl out of the diseased gangrenous rotpocket that is nu-Bioware. ME3's ending was already ruinous enough and (thankfully) since Andromeda made the at-the-time retarded decision to be completely separated in-universe from any established lore it's very easy to pretend it just never existed. But even so, the series still deserves better than to be made a total mockery of by trannies.

I'm long overdue for a replay of the whole series. Last time I got stuck halfway on ME1. I'm thinking of using some manner of save editor so I can skip straight to ME2, my favorite game in the series since forever.

Veilguard's failure will ensure Bioware won't be around for Mass Effect 5, so I wouldn't worry too much.

ME5 was confirmed in production and if we know anything about EA, they let the flops come out first before the closures.

Dragon age pronouns went from having record low pre-orders to being in third place on the steam sales chart to currently having a record user decline on the daily player chart. Something suspicious and inorganic going on.

all im going to say is they survived Andromeda , and they literally couldnt figure out how their own guns worked.

Mass Effect's Project Director/Producer said a few days ago that they would be maintaining the 'mature tone' of the Mass Effect Trilogy. Then again, I don't trust anything they say and he seems to be strongly shilling Veilguard at the same time. Who knows? With these people a 'mature tone' could even make it actively worse (we need to be serious about fighting for trans lives, guys!), though likely without the sassy Marvel moments.

Nah, it'll be so heckin mature, they'll probably talk about things like genitals and how to do the sex with aliens, then some guy will be like "TMI!" am I right? Im sure it will be very mature.

Mass effect Andromeda was running on the Frostbite engine . The game engine was made for first person shooters and cover shooters in mind.

These are the same faggots who think Hazbin hotel and Helluva boss have good writing because of overusing swearing and LGBT characters. In fact dragon age inquisition writing feels like proto-Veziepop. All the characters just talk about sex, farting and say fuck a lot. Making fun of veziepop swearing a running gag in The Amazing Digital Circus.

Mass Effect is actually one series where genderspeshul makes sense. After all, there are alien species galore. Who knows, maybe an alien species has six genders and all six are needed to procreate. Some aliens may not need genders because they fart out babies after a gassy meal.

However, I doubt these people know how to do that organically in a way that fits the setting. Likely it'd be another cringefest where aliens start screaming and whining like terminally online Portland and San Francisco activists.

Safe bet, Andromeda was already totally sexless and chalked full of ugly white women and browns. I fully expect multiple long lectures on the nature of space pronouns.

After all, there are alien species galore. Who knows, maybe an alien species has six genders and all six are needed to procreate. Some aliens may not need genders because they fart out babies after a gassy meal.

You see that would be fantastical gender nonsense that could actually add depth to a character or species, though. It's a no-no to portray gender specials as fantastical in sci-fi now.

Instead, what you will get is an Asari companion who has surgery to make herself look like a male.

Anyway, my general thoughts on the series is that it holds up surprisingly well. 3 is certainly the weakest of the trilogy in terms of mechanical depth and writing but is carried by two very strong prequels and is worth completing. I also have gone out of my way in subsequent playthroughs to vary up my choices as much as possible and it's actually really stunning how much ME3 can change depending on what you did in the previous games, even going so far as to recontextualize entire arcs.

If anyone is looking to replay them, I suggest letting some of the ME2 crew die and making some unconventional choices to spice up your final run. It's a lot of fun.

I'll forgive everything bioware does with the gender faggotry if they keep the paragon/renegade system, and just have the paragons as allies and renegade as transphobic chuds.
It would make them loads of money, they'd get whatever dribbles from blackrock's DEI shekels, and they'll get the money of gamers that want to press R2 to misgender a tranny.
I really liked the Mass Effect series, even three. It's a shame that current year is going to make andromeda look like a competent game.
