No doubt we're all familiar with this image.

In the Kiwi Spirit, what are the everythings you've been archiving locally before it is purged from the internet?

Remember, it's not all malicious, there's also plenty stuff that just gets deleted due to lack of activity or interest.

Personally I look forward to my future child stumbling upon a Francis E Dec rant on my hard drive.

i got one of those ISIS propaganda movies from 2015
some dude working as a post doc for a universitys history department used to post these with english translation subtitles to his blog, but at some point he went private and the stuff became very hard to find

Onlyfans/Justforfans stuff bc the gay porn stars keep removing it via dcma

Sailor Moon Abridged

Stuff by ramzaes just because I enjoy it

I'll save the occasional Youtube video if I feel it's in danger.

Recently I was looking through my videos and found an old one I saved a long time ago that when I went looking for on Youtube itself couldn't find, so I was quite pleased that I had the foresight to save it when I did.

There's a lot of old music recordings from 100+ years ago that are extremely un-PC. I've downloaded some of those because morons these days have no concept of historical context.
I should probably also save many cartoons from the early 20th century that aren't woke.
Save them all. They all will be considered hate speech eventually for one reason or another.

I myself am working on all of Stahlsby's videos and will do merapsco's next. I don't know how that fucker is still on youtube, so I'm trying to hurry up.

I can't find Cristina Vee singing "Ai wa Oboete Imasu Ka" and a really cool reimagining of the Policenauts opening sequence called "Policenauts Duo." I had them saved but I can't find them now. This irritates me as they were taken down from Youtube.

Honestly, I just save and sort out random shit that's not 'important' enough for other archives to get or care about.
I've got some 2000's era cartoons that, to my knowledge, never got full DVD releases and you just can't get anywhere legit. The reason for those is because copywrite is so fucked they could be lost if someone files something, and they aren't really popular in the first place.
I have a bunch of podcasts from YouTube, mostly from lolcows, saved in case of a DFE or something.
Before Tumblr purged NSFW stuff, I saved some odd "ask blogs" from the bronies because those were, in my mind, important and strange enough to archive.
I've also got pretty much every flash game from all over saved along with a front-end that plays them, because those games I legitimately believe are important to Internet history. In the same vein, I've also got a fuckload of emulator ROMs because those were getting purged a while ago.
Just a bunch of dumb hobby shit, really.

I've got a bunch of full rom sets and am slowly adding more modern stuff to my collection but being selective as getting a full PS2 or even PS1 set is a massive amount of data so slowly dowloading games I like or would like to play at some point. I don't think rom sites are going anywhere any time soon but you never know.

I started watching youtube pretty much when it first hit the scene and there were a lot of small channels (even by the standards of those days) that I watched which are forever lost to time and I am extremely salty I never saved any of the videos. Most of the stuff I watch now is fairly popular like RLM and thats probably been backed up dozens of times by others so I see no need. That and my internet is ass so doing a mass archive would be a nightmare.

I have about 5TB worth of movies and TV shows saved on external hard drives. Never know what the leftists will take offense to next, so I'm keeping it all, even if the movie or show seems harmless.

I have a ton of tabletop pen and paper books/PDFs saved from before SJWs invaded the hobby and turned it woke, as well as roughly 18,000 ebooks. I've got complete (so far) files of podcasts and older radio shows I like saved. I think I'm set so far.

If you have it saved locally somewhere you can use Everything to search for it. It's a search tool which indexes and allows you to search through all files on your harddrive. I dont really know cyber security but I don't think it connects to the internet at all so probably safe from that standpoint.

I have also been slowly collecting cracked versions of the video games I like and mostly ones I already own for when they get DRM'd to death.

Thanks to Internet Archive I managed to save a bunch of stuff you will never ever again find on youtube and most other social media sites

RLM's Care Boars cartoon seems to have been lost when Blip died.

That reminds me, is anyone else a fan of their sorely underrated Monkey Man videos? Stumbled upon those on their main site once.

I loved all the bizarre quotes from Rich's grandmother like "OH, I'VE GOT TUMS AND THINGS FOR YOU SWEETHEART, I GOT EVERYTHING YOU NEED! DO YOU LIKE THAT? THAT FEEL GOOD? AND YOU KNOW YOU LOVE IT!"

"RAG RELATED SUFFOCATE"

"MY ASS FELL OUT, LOOK OUT BELOW!"

"SLUT USED TOILET PAPER"

"THE DEVIL IS MY HAIRDO!"
