If Trumps peace plan goes through and all sanctions are lifted, How long before we get Saigas and Veprs back you reckon? I remember seeing them in store but i was too young to buy a gun when they were banned.

L doublepost but there's literally no way they're gonna stop people from making and installing switches unless they completely redesign the slide and get rid of the backplate altogether. Even if that happens niggas find a way. With knowledge of how the trigger group works basically any semiautomatic weapon can be converted into full auto, and even without that the shoestring thing still works, which is why you can be put in federal prison for several years if you've possessed a 14 inch long shoestring with loops on each end anywhere in the US (i luv u atf) 1763688915912.png

Firstly, nothing's going to happen because Nothing Ever Happens

Two weeks

Never Ever, or at the very least the American gun industry will do everything in their power to engineer some excuse to get politicians to keep Saiga's on the import ban list in order to "Preserve the American Firearms Industry's Industrial capacity and protect American jobs". The NRA and NSSF aren't going to let KC flood the market with $700 TR-3's and who knows what else (they might even find a market for the AKV-521, TR-4 and maybe just maybe a domestically produced RPL-20 in 5.56 that can be rigged up to work with a super safety) when they're in the midst of the second Trump Slump. There will literally not be a market for American made AK's if KC regains access to the American market unless it's for sale to Hood niggers at rock bottom prices.

Any theoretical offering(s) would have to be in 5.56 because literally all the 7n6 has either been or is getting shot up.

I bought a whole container of disposable heating protection and it’s all 14” shoe laces with plugs molded to fit over the little plastic ends. Someone had a sense of humor when designing them.

Swedes are an odd bunch, they're both moralizing leftist fags, and also probably have the most modern weapons industry in the world (compared to population size).
The Swedes having one of the only functional independent fighter jet programs, rocket launchers, and advanced munitions with a government that calls itself a “humanitarian superpower” is really funny.

Those guns were so bad they were literally abandoned by Sig. I remember being excited for the 55X series until people actually started getting them and seeing all the issues.
What was the problem with them? I heard the 551s were essentially excellent AKs chambered for AR rounds. If it wasn't for PWS I'd probably still be salty they're so hard to find.
What's the least crap "scout" rifle on the market? I'm talking Col. Cooper's dream gun, forward mounted optics deal that I'll either fix a Burris 1x or PA 1x Prism on.
After running the Ruger Scout with an 18" barrel, an Aimpoint Duty RDS on it and a Timney trigger, I'd say that rifle. Reliable, easy to find mags for it, and gets about 1 MOA accuracy from prone or supported positions.

I got an XS rail on mine to try out an LPVO but the stock the rifle comes with puts it in "jaw weld" territory and not cheek weld. I do now wonder if a red dot + magnifier combo on the stock scout rail would be worth a try.

There is some Jewish nonsense going on in the world of Super Safeties

The owner of "Twin Bros LLC" (Spiritual or ethnic Jews) are attempting to quite Jewishly lay claim to the intellectual property of one of this century's greatest advancers of the 2nd Amendment, Tim Hoffman, inventor of the Super Safety. The Jew, Cameron Smith is claiming that he is in fact the inventor of the Super Safety (demonstrably false) and that Mr. Hoffman is in fact infringing on his intellectual property by claiming to be the inventor of the Super Safety (for future reference, Hoffman released the Super Safety to the world in July of 2023). This comes after he apparently sold thr patent on a slightly modified version of the Super Safety to Lawrence Demonico of Rare Breed Triggers. Twin Bros LLC has been accused of faking or lying about an FBI raid in order to Jewishly defraud customers (there certainly was an FBI raid in there area, they themselves posted video footage of it but as far as I know there has never been any evidence purporting the FBI raid was aimed specifically at them. But this would also imply they were allegedly planning to defraud customers and simply happened to optimistically use a local FBI raid as a perfect excuse.

If you want an affordable classically built rifle or shotgun buy a Husqvarna.
Just as a note to anyone looking to do this: pay attention to the chamber size. If you're looking somewhere like Simpson Ltd. they have tons of them but depending on the age they'll have 2.5", 2⅝" or 2¾" chambers; same goes for old German shotguns that take weird Euro shells.

If peace is achieved, when is Serbia going to unfuck themselves and allow PPU to export ammo again? Would Wolf be exported by Russia or Ukraine again? Will we see surplus military ammo after a few years? War trophy AK12 kits? Ukrainian Plum furniture? etc etc

Main issue with FRTs is having somewhere to shoot them where you won’t get hassled by people thinking you have an illegal machine gun.
Probably just depends on the state. I live in a western state and never get hassled both in indoor/outdoor ranges or on crowded public land and I'm in a big city. I honestly get more looky-loos and questions when I shoot muzzleloaders than I ever do with FRTs.

This is because Europe has banned lead for all ammunition. A lot of these old guns have barrels that can’t support firing steel so instead they are being imported to the US which still allows lead for everything except waterfowl.

I enjoyed the kharod in Stalker 2
View attachment 8196122

The Kharod has been my go-to for most of my S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 playthrough up until recently. Made a special trek out West past the irradiated vehicle graveyard to get it, then trekked back after update 1.6 to get the white phosphor Gen 3 NODs that are now in the same place. Ran it with a suppressor, extended mag, ACOG, and either the M203 or the Hole Punch under barrel shotgun (mostly for aesthetics) and had it rechambered for 5.45x39mm for ammo availability. My secondary was the Saiga 12 you can get on the South West side of the vehicle graveyard.

However, now I'm running the Dnipro rechambered for 7.62x54mmR (I think that's an oversight by the devs and it is supposed to be 7.62x39mm), coupled mags, ACOG, and suppressor. I've started playing with mods now that they're available on console, and one mod is "Barkeep sells everything" where literally every item in the game, including uniques and all artifacts, including the one of a kinds, is sold by the barkeep at each base. They also sell all the blueprints "for free", but you can't just take the blueprints for nothing. You have to add them to your buy screen, then buy at least one thing that has a price attached to it. So I bought all the Dnipro blueprints (well, I bought ALL the blueprints) including the caliber swap well before I'm anywhere near going to Prypriat.
The mod also has items that I do not think are in the game yet, like the sniper rifle suppressors, the extended mag for the SVU, and the drum for the Saiga 12. Of course, I bought all that shit too.

So right now my load out is Diamond Exo (which I've had for a long time since back when you could do the box jump thing to get on top of the mobile lab by Yaniv, which I believe you can no longer do as the devs moved that armor inside the bunker), 7.62mm Dnipro as my primary, the special Magrach version of the Saiga 12 or the Texan version of the Ram-2/DP-12 as my shotgun secondary depending on my mood, APSB/Stetchkin as my pistol, and in my pack I keep an SVU/Mk-3 whatever they call it, and a Gauss Rifle for long range work. However, I am considering running the SVU as my primary as kind of a battle rifle since I've got it suppressed and the 20rnd stendo on it. Actually, I just remembered that I recently bought the Whip version of the SVU and fully upgraded it and am running that in my pack now. The nice thing about the Whip is when it's upgraded, it has really good handling stats. Its actually better than my Dnipro, and it's better than the normal SVUs that you can buy or find in the world.

As for artifacts, I believe I'm running a Hypercube, a Liquid Rock, a Glare, and a Nightstar, but I also have a Compass and Devil's Mushroom. Used to run the Compass, but ever since I found out that it wasn't doing anything for me since my armor's protection stats are pretty much maxed out, I swapped it out for the Glare for the anomaly protection. Oh, I've also got a Thunder Berry I used to run, but one of my mods greatly increases my stamina, so it's of no help anymore. I've got the Compass and Thunder Berry in my stash for sentimental reasons since they were part of my load out for so long, like the Kharod.

I do still have my fully decked out Kharod tucked away in my stash since I've got some sentimental feelings attached to it. I've literally had it since first leaving the Lesser Zone, and only just switched for something else just recently. I've also got about 1800rnds of 5.45mm ammo in the stash with it, just in case I run out of 7.62x54mmR and need to switch back to it while building up a new stockpile of 7.62mm.

I'm at the point in the game where I just got back from the old Clear Sky base with the MacGuffin and the leaders of Spark and Noontide want to have a little palaver with me before I head up to SIRCAA. I've been playing the game ever since it released, but this is still my first playthrough. I've been taking my time, doing a lot of exploring, artifact hunting, weapon/armor hunting, farming bandits for stuff to sell. I've got several rare and legendary artifacts.

generally you can fire "standard" steel out of old barrels as long as they are cylinder bore. "standard" steel cartridges have a wadding that keeps the shot from touching the barrel walls, lower velocity and lighter shot weights. now, you are allowed to use these shells with chokes up to 1/4 but you might risk "ringing" the barrel. a ring bulge might form a few inches back from the muzzle at the area where choke constriction begins. this bulge is entirely cosmetic.
DAMAGE: In not all, but a number of instances a very slight ring will develop about 1-1/2" to 3" rearward of the muzzle. This ring is about .005 of an inch above the plane of the barrel, completely encircling the barrel. From our tests, we could determine no adverse effect on pattern or shot velocity because of this ring. Our conclusion is that the most significant objection, the slight ring, is entirely cosmetic. This 'ring' effect does not affect the function or safety of the firearm.
the above is from a rigorous test performed by Browning and FN-Herstal.

If you want to use "high performance" steel cartridges like we use on duck and goose here in the US you want to have a modern gun (or an old gun with modern barrels). these new barrels are made of extra hard steel so steel shot cannot damage them.

Or you could ignore all the above and use bismuth.
