Mega Rad Gun Thread

For absolutely no extra fee I will call you a nigger.
It's a CZ75, if there's anything wrong with it there's spare parts but if $400 on a decent handgun is too much for you I would recommend looking for a brand new gun or shopping elsewhere because RTI is exclusively known for scraping the bottom of the barrel. It's more impressive when guns from them work.
Thanks for the info and the free nigger

These videos are wild. My favorite is him talking someone out of firing a SA-7 MANPAD they found on the fucking ground. "Lets not do this." "What will happen?" "Well, the backblast will kill this guy..."

He's impressively well spoken and articulate in the videos, but his written comments on the videos have that imaginative schizo ramble to them. Guess you gotta be some kind of crazy to be a war journalist.
He is an actual schizo.
Theres one video(a new one) where hes sitting at the back of a technical that has a 23mm gun on it, and dude sitting next to the 23mm is hipfiring sitting down at a "target" thats what seems to be a mile away.
This is where i stumbled upon him few days ago https://boards.4chan.org/k/thread/64679417

The era when subversive fuckheads in Hollywood made movies that lied to gullible retards who believed it, then used those lies to ban stuff.

That dumbfuck Lethal Weapon 3 movie where they falsely portrayed the Evil Huwyte Maing using "cop killer" bullets coated in teflon.
At least that stuff was hilarious to make fun of because of how inaccurate it was.
I never believed the Black Talons were inherently different from any other jacketed hollowpoint of the era, as far as I can tell it's just Fuddlore + the allure of them being pulled from the market because of all the bad press over their scary name.
It's honestly kinda interesting why they make such a big deal over everything from saturday night specials to ARs to bolt action rifles but never touch shotguns. I've seen one tweet from a dumbass politician over a decade ago describing them as "funnels of death" or something but nothing else besides that. If anything they'd be jumping at the opportunity to demonize shotgun slugs by saying "this is a conversion device to make your family friendly hunting shotgun into a .70 caliber SNIPER RIFLE!" They haven't yet though, because it usually takes a high profile incident for "our" politicians to change anything for better or worse (usually worse).

Sure is a nice shotgun though...

my TLR8-AG's doing something wacky. it doesn't come on any more unless i tighten the lens/battery cover to a certain point. the light then won't turn off, and i can't use the switch to cycle through the light/laser combo settings. (:_(

My bet is there's a flaw in the circuitboard involving the light-lockout switch on the lenscap. I'd RMA it.

Been looking at surplus pistols and saw this cz75. (link)
You think I will be playing milsurp roulette with these and potentially get a very rough one? I wouldn’t be surprised if that happened.
You're better off going to a local gun store and looking for surplus cz75's, they are extremely common guns. any metal frame guns without rails on them are generally considered off-meta so you might even get a good deal. look out for tanfoglios and jerichos because theyre basically the same gun and gun boomers dont think they're worth anything but if the staff is too young they'll realize theyre anime guns

im pretty sure you can buy a brand new turkish one for that price though.

Yeah, I've never been in a gun store worth a damn that didn't have a couple CZ's and Jerichos. They're both excellent guns but tend to appeal to hipsters who wind up trading them. New Jerichos aren't even that expensive - you're gonna hate life when you decided to find a holster for it.

The updated 75s in the form of P07s make good shooters. Doesn't look as nice as the classic 75 but you get a light rail for the trouble. Decocker only model is a great carry piece. I like it as my winter gun, it gets a light and a dot, black arch makes good holsters for them.

i got the thing back in like 2023 so it might still under warranty. if that's not the case maybe there are individual lens caps you can buy?

Agree.
I also have it's big brother P-09.

Shit, its a P01 that I have, got the lines confused. P07/09 are the plastic framed ones, Haven't shot one, ergos remain the same as the metal framed guns?

Regardless, you've got options for CZ DA/SA guns especially if you don't have an allegence to getting a lore accurate cowboy bebop Jericho.

They are very similar.
If you've got the extra bucks get the metal frame but these are an excellent choice otherwise.

Califags get your Black Friday/Cyber Monday lists in order, you may be turbo-fucked come Jan 1st. (Ca AB1263)
Would like to give a bulletpoint list of how many "firearm accessories" are about to be basically DOA for online sales in Cali, but a bit busy at work at the moment. Interested to see @Club Sandwich's take.

pretty much anything not a receiver, frame, barrel, or "assault weapon feature" is an accessory. while it's not likely to be enforced against screws, pins, springs, sights/scopes, tools - it was largely discussed as pertaining to parts that make functional firearms from kits or repair/replacement parts for the same (gas tube not so much, but a barrel or pistol/vertical grip sure as those are explicitly called out). various efforts to dove tail this into 3d printed receivers (so parts kits containing mentioned parts/accessories) will also be affected as well as magazine parts, or even compliance parts.

I have it on good authority that Midway now treats standalone buffer springs, castle nuts, and buffer retainer pins as restricted/regulated, and requires submitting ID to order and signed delivery for California.

Also, some amusing seller names from Ebay:

This is why all the 3D2A guys were idiotic when they bragged to politicians’ faces about their parts kits builds defeating gun control. Only the FGC-9 and similar are actually immune to regulation, assuming that you can manufacture your own ammunition from scratch.
