Lmao. No.
Q will tell you it is though. Q is mostly a sham that occasionally stumbles is way to a good product like the Honey Badger on accident.
The Honey Badger is the least impressive but it's still pretty cool when you take one apart with it's pretty interesting and innovative with the buffer system contained in the BCG using tungsten beads like the MP7.
The Fix is pretty much the minimum amount of metal you can use to make a pretty legit hunting rifle with better ergonomics than others.
The Boombox is pretty cool and probably took the most work to make work. It's comparable to the Ruger SFAR with how compact the receiver set is but it seems to actually work well and takes advantage of serious materials to have a smaller bolt handle a .308 bolt face.
I'm not saying the guns are great value because they're definitely not, but there's really nothing like them and what tries to be like them is way less cool, weighs a lot more, and came around after them often times.
Q is a pretty new company and the Honey Badger is like 2X older than that. Kevin was involved with the previous company AAC and took over that gun although he wasn't at all involved with development afaik. The new one is different than the old one and has some newer additions with it.
This is uglier than that guys gator skin holster.
Their marketing is lame too. The gun equivalent of a BBQ place that serves you three slices of brisket on a 1/4 tray while saying proudly "We do things a little differently here." or 3AM Chili if you were alive for that

Tomato tomato, no need to make that guy feel like a fag for no reason lol. The Fix looks kinda cool to me but it's less so about the looks and more about the capability. A 6 pound 16in 6.5 Creedmoor is pretty legit if you gotta carry it a while. The SBRs are even better with the .300 being less than a 4 and a half pounds.
That still comes to $800 a pound though which is kinda fucked for mostly aluminum.
Marketing yeah bro they really suck but some of their actual products are sick. If their shit was half the price and they weren't so cringe I'd probably have all their guns.
Yeah that sounds crazy, using a 10.5" indoors. I have one in 5.56 already and you bother people five lanes down from you at an outdoor range. If I don't pick up a DDM4, I will probably stick with my subsonic 9mm handgun.
I thought the whole point of you wanting something in .300 was sound and that you'd be using a can. You're right that a 10.5 5.56 is loud as shit but with a can it's generally the same or quieter than .22 from a pistol depending on what can you get. If you're not running a can then 9 from a PCC is the move but having shot that indoors it's still really fucking loud and will ring your dome
