Anyone here think that this whole NFA thing is either a midterm stunt pulled by the Republicans because they know they're fucked come midterms or will be legally challenged real soon and all that bullshit will be reinstated?

tl;dr I don't trust those Jew-loving pedophiles in the US government to ever give up any bit of power, no matter what.

Also, don't go into debt acquiring suppressors or SBRs/SBSs. It is not worth it.
It's just more steeled backing for 2a court shenanigans. Things will completely take a 180 with a new admin and new ATF head. It feels like we're setting up for a common use 2A position or a whole " 70% of the population now has unregistered nfa items do we arrest them all or?," Kinda question.

What benefit do you see to climbing radio towers with a gun on you?
climbers are favored targets for random nogs to take pot shots at usually cuz there schzio alternatively nogs are pretty good at understanding when to ambush someone in other words they understand that tradesmen keep guns in there cars so you only hope of defending yourself is haveing the gun on you
Diesel mechanic: get a job in a place where you don't feel like you need to carry while working on the trucks/boats
this might not be feasible in the future as I might have to take a travel job meaning going to shithole cities full of tards even on call tire guys I worked with almost had one guy rob him with a cop being at the right time for him if I work in a garage absolutely your right
This whole discussion is kind of silly, carrying on the job in many trades just isn't feasible because it will either get in the way or wind up exposed. Most tradesmen are always having to contort themselves into weird positions that would reveal a gun if carrying, whether AIWB, 4:00, ankle, whatever, plus leaning on stuff or crawling around
Its why I wanted to get a larger pool of takes since the only info on BC carry was SPNfirearms who carries as a new construction plumber It's a complicated question
Basically pocket carry of a small gun is the only realistic option imo and even then leaning on a truck frame with a gun in your pocket while you torque a bolt sounds really comfortable. Maybe fanny pack/body bag carry. I carry all of the time, I considered FFDO, I get it. But sometimes it's just not practical
I'm heavily leaning into that depending on the gun alot of "Pocket guns" are questionable in pratice maybe an LCP max, LCR, Jframe even a 30x? but that is frankly cuz I think it looks cool. I wish I could find a 9mm that isn't AIDS to shoot and still pocketable

out of all of them the most shootable will be steel framed .38 J-frame types or .32ACP/.25ACP/,22LR automatics. the pocket .380s are obnoxious. very snappy which is made worse by the lack of handle to hold on to.

I carry a SP101 in a pocket holster in concealed required situations.

The SP101 is not remotely a pocket gun. Considering your stance on hand loading carry loads nobody should listen to you.

As far as pocket .380s go, I am still a fan of the p238 despite sig's behavior over the past few years. It's very controllable, especially if you get the extended magazine and hogue grips.

what kinda of faggot girly pants do you wear? it's a pocket revolver. Name one time someone was prosecuted for hand loading. not hypotheticals.

The smallest SP101 is a beast compared to a J frame. It’s a shit pocket gun.

I’m not even referring to legal issues. A 50rd box of Federal HST is 50USD - your life and the life of your loved ones should be worth more then that.

The SP101 is not that much larger and it doesn't pull my pants down at all.

If you're impugning the reliability of the ammunition I manufacture I can assure you that it has never failed, and the types I load cost much more than premium 9mm. a comparable box of +P commercial ammo for .45 colt for example is over $50 for just 20 rounds. It's not even sold in 50 round boxes.

The bodyguard 2.0 is about as gentle as a pocketable .380 can get and not be a hand bone rearranger (oh and the Sig P238)

Reliability isn't the issue, it's about looking as perfect as possible in court after a bad situation. If you're more worried about $50-100 now of ammo you'll hopefully never use than potentially tens of thousands of dollars and your time later, that's your call. For hunting or animal defense have at it with reloads I guess.

The 50 boxes are in standard semi auto calibers, 45 colt is kinda weird and they probably don't sell enough to make those big packs.

I’m impugning the reliability of everyone’s - not just you.

Your life and your loves ones are worth the 50 bucks for reputable carry rounds with proven ballistics.

I had an sp101 but like a tard I picked the 3 inch model only to sell it later because of how cumbersome it was it was really nice to shoot with .38s +p's if I got another I'd probably get the 2 inch DAO model only thing I don't like is how cheeks the sights are and the grip sure I can replace it with a tritium sight and a hogue overmold grip but thats another 160 on top of retail and unless I get it cheap I'd just get an lcr or S&W ultimate carry that has better features for my purposes

this is probably the biggest flaw of the sp outside the stuff I mentioned the trade off being more pleasant to shoot
If you want to experience true misery fire a Seecamp in 380
I think I'd rather reenact the hammer scene from casino on myself

Absolute worst case scenario the Feds will have to do a massive amnesty and the NFA registry is going to explode in the future. If anything I think the next step is suppressors are going to become over the counter items like they are in parts of Europe.
That's the one thing that Europe does better than America on guns. I think the EU encourages their use.

I'm just waiting for the gay NFA states to unrestrict the SBR/Suppressors. Some states still mandate NFA registration.

No one (to my knowledge) has been prosecuted for hand loading because hand loading is not a crime.

There was at least one prominent case where hand loads absolutely dicked someone over, and that was the New Jersey v Daniel Bias case.

Massad Ayoob has written about this case before.

So for obvious reasons my hacksaw will be busy this weekend so what are people’s thoughts on ideal 12 gauge barrel lengths?
whatever swings good and feels good when pointing.

the best barrel length for defense, or hunting or skeet, or both are all wildly different. oh and on a double or single barrel break action you can get away with a couple inches longer of a barrel than the equivalent pump or semi cuz the reciever is way shorter
Thank you, President Donald J Trump. You defeated faggots like Massie to give us our freedom back :semperfidelis:
having to choose between letting our nation be controlled by the best friend of the IDF guy that ran an indian tantric pedophile sex cult versus the totalitarian pizza gobbling culture & gender war retards is why our country is so shit now
